Super Gene Hunting Ground

The primitive warrior’s fist smashed down, carrying a golden glow and a strong air current.

Since no target had been found for the moment, the four primitive warriors’ defensive light shields had been deactivated a while ago, and to avoid collapsing the cave, they used only a fraction of their strength to smash the surrounding cave walls.

The primitive warrior’s punch happened to hit the rock that blocked the cave entrance,

”Crack,”

with a sound, a half-meter diameter rock shattered into pieces.

When the primitive warrior’s fist smashed down, he already felt that it was hollow inside and was about to shout with joy,

when suddenly, a light flashed in the darkness, and a strong killing aura surged out from inside the cave.

The primitive warrior felt a chill in his heart and before he could react, he felt an icy sensation in the arm that had struck down, followed by a piercing pain that spread from his arm into his body.

”Ah!”

With a miserable scream, the primitive warrior stumbled and retreated several steps backward.

The other primitive warriors immediately shone their lights over and saw a severed hand from the wrist on the ground, with blood smeared all around.

Looking beside the rock wall, a small half-meter diameter hole was revealed.

”It’s here, we’ve found it, they’re hiding here.”

One of the primitive warriors shouted excitedly.

However, at this moment, the primitive warrior whose right hand was chopped off was howling in pain, and another warrior quickly took out a small blood pill to stop the bleeding and heal the injury.

These small blood pills were also pillaged from David’s subordinates. Sometimes, when extorting the miners, they would also demand David to give them some small blood pills.

The small blood pill is a commonly popular healing elixir on Witch Star, extremely effective and affordable, beloved by everyone.

Apart from the injured warrior, the other three didn’t understand what dangers lay inside the cave, and dared not rush in recklessly. They each emitted a ”buzz” as they activated their defensive light shields in front of them, while simultaneously stepping back a few steps.

Ah Bao and his people, who were some distance away, rushed over upon hearing the screams here.

”What’s happened?”

”We found the cave, but, Ah Mu’s hand was chopped off by the opponent.”

Broken bones and injuries can be healed, but the completely severed arm is beyond the capabilities of the small blood pills to repair.

Ah Bao was shocked and quickly checked the severed hand of the primitive warrior Ah Mu.

After Ah Mu swallowed the small blood pill, the blood gushing from the stump of the arm slowly began to coagulate, but the wound was terrifying to behold, with exposed white bone, blood vessels, muscles, and tendons.

Ah Mu kept screaming miserably by the side and upon seeing the leader Ah Bao, he wailed:

”Boss, avenge me, kill him, kill him, I want to eat his flesh raw, ah, ah, ah,”

Ah Bao snatched the illumination lamp from a primitive warrior’s hand and shone it into the cave, but saw nothing inside.

Since the cave sloped upward at a 60-degree angle, the light could only illuminate part of it before being blocked.

”Ah Mu, what happened just now? How was your arm chopped off? Logically speaking, if the opponent is only in the King Level Evolution Stage, they shouldn’t be able to break through your defense,

you are at the Emperor Level Evolution Realm, with exceptionally strong defense. Even without using the light shield to block, relying on your body’s natural defense should have been enough to withstand the attacks of a King Level Evolver.”

Ah Mu was stunned for a moment, briefly recalling the incident, and said:

”I punched down and felt there was a hollow behind, and as the stone cave shattered, I also felt a surge of a powerful killing aura coming from inside, and right after my arm was chopped off, ow, it hurts like hell.”

The bleeding from the wound had stopped, but the pain was still excruciating.

Ah Mu looked back at Tanaka Jiao, who was not far behind him, and asked coldly:

”Did you say the opponent is only a King Level Evolver?”

Tanaka Jiao also didn’t know what had happened and was stunned for a moment before saying:

”Leader Ah Bao, all of our miners here are King Level Evolvers, you’ve already attacked several mines, you should know this.”

Ah Bao nodded. During this period, he had led the savages to attack several mining sites. They had defeated the miners with ease every time, and had encountered no obstacles whatsoever.

A savage glanced at the cave and said:

”Boss, could there be mutated monsters inside, like centipedes for example?”

”There’s no reason for that. If they were mutated centipedes, they would have come out to fight us by now. How could they possibly shrink back into the cave? Hmph, no matter if it’s humans or bugs inside, I will kill them all today. You guys stand back a bit; I’m going to open up this cave.”

The savages around him quickly ran back several meters, meanwhile activating their Defensive Light Shields.

Ah Bao clenched his fist and directly threw a punch through the air at the cave.

A golden ball of light burst forth, exploding inside the cave with a ”boom,” causing the ground to tremble violently as a large hole about ten meters in diameter blasted open in the cave.

The explosion caused a large amount of debris to scatter about, and a huge purple rock hanging above Ah Bao’s head collapsed. Ah Bao then tossed the massive boulder to the other side of the mining tunnel with a sweep of his arm.

With fury burning in his chest, Ah Bao consecutively bombarded the entrance, blowing open a ten-meter-long passageway.

However, he still couldn’t see anyone. That half-meter-diameter passage extended upwards at a 60-degree angle, far beyond sight.

”Kakaka, you Earth pigs, come out!”

Ah Bao yelled loudly, about to strike the cave again when a savage behind him urgently shouted:

”Boss, we can’t bomb it anymore. If we keep on, we’ll be buried inside ourselves.”

Upon hearing this, Ah Bao instantly came to his senses.

They were now one hundred meters below ground level, and his continuous bombardment of the cave had already produced a large amount of rock debris. These rocks hadn’t been cleared out and were piling up more and more, gradually blocking the tunnel.

Worse, Ah Bao’s continuous attacks had caused countless cracks to form in the rock walls above the cave. Some of these fissures were several meters long and wide enough to fit a hand through.

If they were to cause a cave-in, with their strength, they would be unable to punch through the hundred-meter-thick layer of solid rock!

Looking at the small cave in front of him, Ah Bao had a massive headache. To just give up like this? Unacceptable.

But to continue bombing like this wasn’t an option either.

”So what do you suggest we do?”

Ah Bao bellowed, his anger surging.

”Send a few archers in. Have them shoot inside.”

A moment later, several archers descended from above the mining site. These were King Level advanced Evolvers.

One archer, crouching down, drew the bow and aimed at the cave entrance, firing an arrow.

With a swift Killing Aura on it, if it hit Yang Xiao and the others, it would be utterly unstoppable.

”Bang!”

A dull thud echoed from within the cave. Followed by that, dozens of fragmented rocks rolled down along the cave walls.

It seemed that the arrow had hit the rock wall, blasting a large hole in the sturdy rock.

The cave wasn’t a straight channel, but had many twists and turns.

Now, even arrows couldn’t make it through, and it seemed all other forms of attack were ineffective.

Even if Ah Bao and the others managed to blast their way through the cave, they would soon encounter a big problem: the falling rocks would bury them inside the mining pit.

”Kakaka, cunning Earth pigs!”

Ah Bao and the others jumped up and down in frustration.

Just then, Tanaka Jiao suddenly stepped out and said:

”Chief Ah Bao, I have a plan that will guarantee their deaths.”

”What plan?”

”Fire Attack!”
