Super Gene Hunting Ground

This time, thirty King Level Evolvers came from Binglang Country.

Compared to Xuanming Country, they had ten more King Level Evolvers.

After the end of the world, Binglang Country had a surviving population of over ten million, similar to the entire remaining population of Xuanming Country.

Previously, Ice Wolf Island was a country lacking in resources, but in the era of Genetic Evolution, it became a region rich in evolution resources due to being surrounded by oceans.

Especially during the era of the icy winters, the abundance of mutated sea fish resources accelerated the evolution speed of the people of Ice Wolf Island.

Among the Evolvers from Ice Wolf Island, about seventy percent possess the Beast Souls of sea creatures, meaning, they can transform into their Beast Souls to hunt mutated fish in the ocean.

Plus, the people of Ice Wolf Island always preferred eating raw marine fish, resulting in the majority of Evolvers from Binglang Country having the capability to enhance their evolution directly by consuming mutated sea fish.

Whether during the ice age or after it ended, the Evolvers from Binglang Country never lacked evolution resources, which led to their number of King Level Evolvers surpassing that of Xuanming Country.

Tanaka Jiao was one of the four supreme Kings in Binglang Country.

After coming to Purple Origin Star, the endlessly mundane work of mining frustrated and agitated them, and they eventually united, planning the escape incident that happened last time.

Most of them were caught and brought back, but Tanaka Jiao, along with a dozen or so of his brothers, fled deep into the mountains. In the battles with the Monsters, several people were eaten, with only five remaining in the end.

They happened upon a Wild Tribe by chance.

With pleas from Tanaka Jiao and the others, the Wild Tribe temporarily gave them shelter.

During the days Tanaka Jiao managed to survive, he accidentally witnessed the Wild Tribe use Crystal Stone Powder to feed the wild beasts as a means to cultivate evolution resources.

Tanaka Jiao immediately saw an opportunity and proactively suggested to the chief of the Wild Tribe, Ah Bao:

”Chief Ah Bao, feeding the beasts one by one like this costs too much and is too inefficient. I have a method that can allow you to raise the number of your beasts by several tens of times, providing you with an endless supply of Genetic Evolution resources.”

Ah Bao was stunned and asked:

”Is that so? If you really have a good idea, I can allow you to join our Wild Tribe and ensure your safety.”

”Chief Ah Bao, with your current method of breeding, it’s truly impossible to significantly increase the number of wild beasts in captivity. You need to change the way you breed them.”

”How should we breed them?”

”It’s simple. All beasts need to drink water, right?”

”Hmm,”

”In the depths of these mountains, there must be many brooks and ponds that the wild beasts visit daily for water. If you grind the Crystal Stones into powder and mix it into the water, you can naturally imbue the beasts within several tens of kilometers with the evolutionary energy of the Crystal Stones. Later, any Monster you hunt will be one that has been specially fed with Genetic Evolution resources, and its flesh will contain even stronger Evolution Energy.”

Ah Bao, after a stunned moment of silence, burst out laughing:

”Good, your suggestion makes sense. Transforming the water sources to contain Crystal Stone Energy is indeed a way to grant extra Evolution Energy to all the surrounding wild beasts, but have you considered how much Crystal Stone that would require?

Our current access to Crystal Stone resources from David’s base is extremely limited. We must coerce his Miners every time before he gives a little extra to us. If we don’t take his workers hostage, he’ll just give us a little to dismiss us. If we want to turn the water sources into water infused with the Evolution Energy from Purple Origin Crystal Stones, we will need a vast amount of Purple Origin Crystal Stones. Where can I obtain so many Crystal Stones?”

”If I can help you get enough Crystal Stones, perhaps in the future, you could also allow me and my comrades to receive a portion of the Monster flesh?”

Tanaka Jiao, with the shrewdness typical of the people of Ice Wolf Island, had already seen an opportunity in this endeavor.

If the Wild Tribe can reach the Empire Level Realm by consuming the flesh of evolved Monsters, then they certainly can as well.

Now that they had escaped from the minefield, it was naturally difficult to return to the base. At present, the only support they could rely on in these deep mountains was the Wild Tribe before them.

After some days of interaction, Tanaka Jiao discovered that although the Genetic Evolution Level of the Wild Tribe was high, their intelligence was average. In other words, they were rather simple and honest but also barbaric, lacking the cunning and craftiness of humans.

Ah Bao chuckled and said:

”If you can help us acquire more Crystal Stone Mines, naturally I won’t mistreat you.”

”Can’t we mine for the stones ourselves?”

”We don’t have the capability. Apart from occasionally picking up some surface-exposed Crystal Stones in the wilderness, we cannot dig into the Crystal Stone Mines a hundred meters underground. We lack the Detection Devices to locate underground Crystal Stone Mines.”

Apart from the few scattered across the surface, the majority of the Purple Origin Crystal Stone Mines lay buried a hundred meters or even deeper underground.

The primitives have no advanced technological equipment and cannot detect mineral deposits.

”So, can we just rob their mines and then dig ourselves?”

”Heh, that’s even less possible. If we rob their mines, they will bring in more people and trap us inside the underground mine. We’ve suffered from this before.”

”Alright, since mining ourselves is not an option, let’s just go straight to robbery.”

”Robbery? Do you think you need to tell us that?”

Ah Bao looked at Tanaka Jiao with disdain. Wasn’t I always robbing?

”Your method of robbery is wrong, it’s too low-tech.”

”Robbery has methods and tech levels?”

Ah Bao was utterly confused.

”We’ve worked in the mines and know the situation. The mine collects the crystal stones dug by the workers every day before quitting time. One mine yields at least twenty kilograms of crystal stones in a day, far more than what you extort from the workers each time.”

Upon hearing this, Ah Bao was stunned.

Every time he extorted the miners at night, he could only get about three to five kilograms of crystal stones from David the next morning. If it was like what Tanaka Jiao said, one robbery could net about twenty kilograms of crystal stones, which was indeed very tempting.

”But, if we rob in broad daylight, they have Iron Tower Guards and guards in black cloaks. It’s not easy to succeed.”

”With so many people, can’t you beat the guards of a mine?”

”We can, but there might be casualties.”

”Without taking risks, how can one achieve great things? Do you want your tribe to be powerful? Do you want to drive David’s base away from here? Do you want endless evolution resources?

Then you must lead your tribal people to fight bravely for your rights.

You are the rightful owners of this planet; they are just foreign invaders.

Clench your fists, take up your weapons, and fight!

...”

Ah Bao: ”#￥@%”

Humans are truly f**king manipulative!

With a few bowls of motivational soup from Tanaka Jiao, Ah Bao was boiling with enthusiasm, as if he saw the glorious future of the tribal revitalization and unification of the planet.

In this way, Ah Bao was led onto the bandwagon by Tanaka Jiao.

The success of the two robberies excited Ah Bao and the tribal primitives.

Following Tanaka Jiao’s suggestion, they ground the crystal stones into powder and spread it in several ponds deep in the mountains, finding that a large number of wild animals started coming to drink the water.

Obviously, the energy from Purple Origin Crystal Stones in the water was attracting the beasts.

Ah Bao was overjoyed. What he needed to do now was to rob more crystal stones, turn the surrounding ponds into sources of energy, and catalyze all the wild beasts nearby, turning the widespread wild beasts into special ingredients for their genetic evolution.

What Ah Bao never expected was that Yang Xiao quickly came up with a countermeasure for David, increasing the frequency of collection of crystal stones from the mine from once a day to four times a day.

And more patrol members were sent.

Ah Bao’s later two robberies resulted in the death and injury of more than a dozen primitives, and they obtained very few crystal stones, which really infuriated him.

Tanaka Jiao, however, came up with another sinister plan,

”Kill all the workers in the mine. That way, David’s base will not be able to develop further and may be forced to move away. Then, the remaining twenty mines will be ours for the taking.”

After hearing this, Ah Bao looked at Tanaka Jiao in surprise and said:

”Tanaka Jiao, half of those miners are from the same planet as you. Don’t you think it’s cruel to kill them?”

Tanaka Jiao sneered:

”There are no eternal friends, only eternal interests. If we don’t kill these miners, how can we drive away the people from the base? As we Earthlings say, it’s ’A man is not a man without poison, and he who is small is not a gentleman!’”
