The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 433: Chapter 433: The Person He Was Waiting for Has Finally Arrived_1

In the large classroom, the teachers had seen about thirty students consecutively, most of them somewhat weary. By the time they were interviewing the last few students, everyone’s enthusiasm was low, and the scores they handed out were also low.

Interest perked up suddenly when they turned to the last page and saw the student’s profile in the records.

Nathalie Quinlan.

The scores on her profile were unremarkable, but her exam score this time was exceptionally eye-catching.

Several teachers who hadn’t been involved in the marking believed they had misread the 650 score written on the document and only after inquiring with a colleague did they realize that this exam had indeed produced a genius student who scored full marks.

Winston Sullivan was among the few who initially thought he had seen wrong.

He hadn’t been involved in this marking and hadn’t seen the grade report, and he was stunned for a moment when he suddenly saw the student’s name and grade on the last page of the profile.

The bold and striking 650 score written on the profile was too conspicuous for most to miss.

He looked again at the name of the student, Nathalie Quinlan.

He had come across this name twice before, once when he was collecting student records and heard it mentioned by a teacher from the Music Department.

The second time was during invigilation when he saw the girl, who started working through the questions from the applied problems section backward. Her name was Nathalie Quinlan.

She scored full marks?

Winston Sullivan was astonished.

Because since the foundation of the school, there had been no student who scored full marks, at least he hadn’t heard of anyone achieving such a feat.

And now, there was a student who had.

Instinctively, he glanced at Derliand Gober and Adelle Wafford, feeling a mix of envy and disappointment in his eyes.

This recruitment period, their Chinese Medicine department came up empty again. The few students he had his eye on didn’t choose their department; they were either poached by another department or they had politely informed him that they wanted to retake the national college entrance exam.

Year after year, the Chinese Medicine department experienced this; so often that he had become numb to it.

But this time, after Adelle Wafford had humiliated their department so much during the recruitment conference, he had wanted to regain some pride by recruiting at least one student...

Ghania Quinlan was the last student in this recruitment, and with such results, even if she was a promising candidate, she had no connection to their department.

Most likely, she would choose Finance or Clinical Medicine.

In his heart, Winston Sullivan sighed with resignation. To say it didn’t hurt would be a lie, but no matter how much it hurt, as a grown man, he had no choice but to endure.

He was looking down, flipping through the documents in his hand, absent of any desire to look up.

What’s the use of being envious? Seeing it would not change anything; it’s better not to look at all!

While he kept his head down, Shawn Norton was particularly excited. Previously, sitting there bored, even when encountering a self-recommended excellent student like Ghania Quinlan, he hadn’t reacted much. But now, he perked up immensely, his gaze fixed intently on the door.

Soon, a slender figure walked in.

The girl was dressed in a hoodie, her legs long and straight beneath the jeans, wearing a duckbill cap that hid her delicate face.

As soon as she walked in, she immediately captured the attention of the teachers present.

Derliand Gober couldn’t wait and said, ”Ahem, please introduce yourself.”

Nathalie Quinlan moved to the center of the classroom and spoke succinctly, ”Nathalie Quinlan. Good day to all the teachers here.”

This introduction was indeed simple, so simple it was almost negligible.

Shawn Norton couldn’t help but smile helplessly in his eyes, not at all surprised by her brief self-introduction.

Because that’s just the way Nathalie Quinlan is.

No fuss, always speaking through her ability!

Looking at her record, Derliand Gober was determined, ”I’ve reviewed your profile which states you’re from McKinney. Your school had quite fine results this year, several students stood out. I’ll cut to the chase; I’ve seen your achievements and I really admire them. I’m in need of a student by my side, would you be interested in studying Finance? I can personally mentor you!”
