The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 425: Chapter 425: Didn’t pass the exam, so returning the day after tomorrow?_1

Ivy Wilmar mentioned this, and it reminded Ghania of Nathalie Quinlan. She lifted her head and brought it up cautiously, ”Sis... Nathalie also took the exam, but I don’t know how many points she scored.”

After all, the university independent recruitment exam isn’t like the college entrance exam; it doesn’t publish everyone’s scores. Each person can only check their own results with their registration number and can’t see anyone else’s.

They had no idea what Nathalie’s registration number was, so of course, they didn’t know how many points Nathalie scored.

When Ghania brought up Nathalie at this time, she wasn’t well-intentioned. She simply believed Nathalie wouldn’t be able to pass the exam!

When she came to Beijing, Myles Sullivan found her professional teachers for tutoring, while Nathalie spent her days in that small place in McKinney, hanging out with those people from Class A. What kind of prospects could she have?

Ghania said with regret, ”I don’t even know if she received the school’s text message.”

”Whether she received it or not is none of your business. Just take care of yourself!” Ivy had come to a realization in the past few days. She glanced at her and said indifferently, ”Were you having lunch with Zayn Fisher and his roommate today? There’s a boy with the surname Tanzil among his roommates, pay attention to him. When you have the chance, get to know Zeus Tanzil well; it’ll be helpful for your future.”

Ghania remembered the boy named Zeus Tanzil. Zayn Fisher had a total of three roommates. The other two were friendly and kind to her, praising her incessantly, but that Zeus Tanzil was dismissive of her. He was distracted throughout lunch, and she wasn’t sure what was on his mind. She noticed several times that when Zayn tried to talk to him, he was preoccupied.

This person’s identity was extraordinary!

Ghania silently took note of this.

The person Ivy specifically mentioned must not be an ordinary person in this circle; he must be someone worth paying attention to within the circle.

She hadn’t squeezed into the upper echelons of Beijing’s circle yet, so when encountering such people, she needs to cling to their coattails all the more.

”I understand.”

Ghania thought about it and said with a smile, ”Tomorrow Zayn will bring his roommates to cheer for me, and Zeus will probably be there too. I will make a good impression on him and strive to become friends.”

Ivy liked her quick perception, direct to the point. Though a bit calculating and lacking elegance in her approach, at least she had her merit.

”Good that you understand. Let’s go, we shouldn’t stay outside too long. Your uncle is still inside having dinner with Professor Derliand and the others. You’re the main character, you can’t always be absent.”

Just then, her phone rang. Ivy stopped, took her phone out of her bag, and looked down at it.

It was a message from Myles Sullivan.

He was asking where they were and why they hadn’t come over yet.

Ivy had just replied ’on our way’ when she received another message from him, short, just one line.

[Nathalie sent a message asking if we’re free the day after tomorrow at noon. She has an airplane to catch in the evening and wants to invite us to dinner.]

A trace of disappointment flickered in Ivy’s eyes. She replied to Myles Sullivan, asking him what he thought.

While lifting her head, she sighed and said to Ghania, ”Nathalie didn’t pass. She’s going back the day after tomorrow.”

”She didn’t pass?” Ghania almost couldn’t help laughing at the good news she heard tonight. She pinched the palm of her hand, trying hard to show a regretful expression, and even squeezed out a sentence to Ivy, ”...That’s really a pity!”

Ivy knew about the grudge between her and Nathalie and didn’t take her insincere words to heart. She looked at the text message from Myles Sullivan on her phone, saying he didn’t want to go, that he wasn’t available that day, and she wasn’t surprised at all.
