The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 430: Chapter 430: This Student Came Around McKinney_1

Her goal was very clear: the Chinese Medicine Department.

By the time she reached the waiting classroom, there were already quite a few people seated inside, both men and women, totaling about thirty people.

Everyone present today was part of the batch that had scored the best.

Having smoothly passed the first round, their faces all beamed with a relaxed expression.

Those who knew each other gathered to chat, while students who didn’t know anyone found a spot to sit alone, looking through the school’s brochure and preparing for questions the interview professors might ask.

Nathalie Quinlan adjusted her duckbill cap and entered through the back door, casually finding a corner seat by the window.

No sooner had she sat down than she heard a familiar voice speaking in front of her.

”Ghania, which major are you planning to apply for? With your grades being so good, you should be able to choose any major.”

Nathalie Quinlan looked up and saw a group of male and female students gathered at the front of the large classroom, with Ghania Quinlan standing in the center like a moon surrounded by stars, and a girl was looking up at her, speaking with an admiring face.

As it happened, Nathalie Quinlan knew that girl.

A student from Class A, named Wenny Taylor.

Usually quiet in class, not interacting much with classmates, always wearing black-rimmed glasses, and the first to leave with her books after school, she never joined in the class meals that Jhovany Sullivan and others invited her to, almost an invisible presence in class with little sense of existence.

Nathalie Quinlan had indeed noticed her.

Before transferring to No. 1 Middle School, she had looked up the past grades of the school, and Wenny Taylor’s name was always prominently at the top of the list.

Of course, after she arrived, Wenny Taylor had become the second-ranked student.

Her eyes brimmed with thick surprise, somewhat unexpectedly finding the usually silent and reserved girl to be quite open in public, and she hadn’t imagined she was close to Ghania Quinlan.

But she wasn’t too concerned about these things, lowering the brim of her cap with her hand and looking down at her phone.

When it was time for the interview, Ghania Quinlan was the fourth in line, three people ahead of her, but she wasn’t nervous; she had scored very well this time, 588 points. Myles Sullivan had asked Derliand Gober about her ranking in this joint examination, and it turned out better than she expected, ranking ninth, almost certainly securing her spot in the Music Department.

Her biggest concern now was not which major to choose but how to impress Mr. Norton during the interview to get him to choose her as his student.

For this, Ghania had been well-prepared for a while, clutching the CD in her hand, her eyes filled with determination.

Soon, the three people ahead of her had all completed their interviews.

Ghania Quinlan stood up, picked up her things, and with a tense spine, left the large classroom to head to the neighboring room for her interview.

Several departments were conducting interviews that day.

Besides the highly popular Finance and Clinical Departments, the Music Department and the Architecture Department were also on the list.

Of course, there was also the Chinese Medicine Department, which Adelle Wafford had reluctantly promoted.

Winston Sullivan, as the representative from the Chinese Medicine Department, sat in the third seat from the right, with Adelle Wafford and Derliand Gober sitting in more central positions, and the best seat was taken by an old man dressed in a suit, his design of disc buttons making him look spirited.

When Ghania Quinlan entered, he didn’t even look up, flipping through the student information in his hands, seemingly not very interested in the newcomers.

However, Derliand Gober, sitting next to him, noticed Ghania Quinlan coming in, glanced at Shawn Norton, and whispered in his ear, ”Mr. Norton, this student is from McKinney, and she has good scores.”

Shawn Norton, who initially lacked enthusiasm, perked up at the mention of McKinney, lifted his head to glance at Ghania Quinlan, just one look, and immediately his eyebrows knitted together.
