The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 412: Chapter 412: Nathalie Can Only Attend Junior College? Wishful Thinking_1

The Principal tried to keep calm, but when he heard Mr. Zachmann’s words, he still couldn’t help being taken aback and interrupted him, ”Mr. Zachmann, what are you talking about? As long as she is willing to choose, she can study any major she wants at Tsinghua University!”

”This... there’s no need for you to go to such lengths.”

Principal: ”Nathalie Quinlan is the first person in the history of Tsinghua University to score full marks on the independent recruitment exam!! A student of such talent is being fought over by all departments. I heard that as soon as the test results came out, the finance and architecture departments started clashing, hurling threats at each other, both planning to win her over in tomorrow’s interviews.”

”There’s word that Derliand Gober of the finance department has even stated that as long as Nathalie Quinlan is willing to choose their department, she can name her conditions!”

The Principal, with a happy smile and holding his phone, said, ”I was looking at her information earlier and was wondering whose child she was. It said on her information that she studied at McKinney No. 1 Middle School and didn’t fill out the parents section; I thought she wasn’t from Beijing. Turns out she’s Mr. Zachmann’s granddaughter.”

One with the surname Quinlan, the other with Zachmann!

No wonder he couldn’t piece it together!

The Principal felt like he suddenly understood everything and said cheerfully, ”Mr. Zachmann, you’ve found a wonderful granddaughter! I never imagined someone could score full marks on this set of exam papers! When the results came out, everyone was stunned. You must keep her studying in the country, don’t let such talent slip away abroad. The loss of talent overseas has been severe in recent years, it really pains me to see. My position is the same as Professor Derliand’s, she can set her conditions if she’s willing to study at Tsinghua University! Everything is negotiable!”

...

Mr. Zachmann felt dizzy, as if he was drunk, and thought he was hallucinating.

He couldn’t believe his ears and asked again, ”How many points did Nathalie score?”

”650, full marks.”

”...”

Not 65, not 150, but 650!

Mr. Zachmann took a deep breath, his hands trembling slightly. He personally went to McKinney to identify the child, and had definitely investigated Nathalie Quinlan’s life before confirming she was the child lost from their family.

A senior high school girl—what could he investigate about her? Merely academic and daily life matters.

The results he found were neither surprising nor disappointing.

Nathalie Quinlan had average grades, in the middle of her class. Ranking in the city, she would probably be over twenty thousandth—a score that with effort could get her into a university, but without it, she’d end up in a junior college.

He had originally planned to take her back after the college entrance examinations, then whether she studied at a domestic university or went abroad to ”gild” her education, he would consider her opinion.

Who would have thought Nathalie Quinlan would quietly come to Beijing to take Tsinghua University’s independent admissions test?

Audrick Zachmann, that sly young man, had also managed to keep his cool, not breathing a word to the family, helping his sister to keep it a secret.

It was only after the tests were over that he learned from Caryn that she had come here to take the exam.

The kicker... she scored a shocker!

650!!!! Mr. Zachmann didn’t know how to process this score. Caryn was the top student in their family generation, and even she only scored 610 on the independent recruitment exam, which had caused a sensation at the time.

He couldn’t imagine the uproar Nathalie Quinlan’s results would cause once they got out.

No wonder the Principal was telling him not to let such talent slip out of the country.

With such results, Southern University would definitely try to steal her away, not to mention that any well-known domestic university would try every means to contact Nathalie Quinlan, looking to poach her if possible, and finding ways if not.
