Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 688: Chapter 457: Strange Python - New Privileges?! (4500 Word Mega Chapter)_3

”Eep!” Keke waved his little paws, ”Eep eep eep!”

”You mean... that giant snake is not dangerous and is actually friendly towards us?”

”Eep!” Keke nodded his little head, then jumped out of his embrace once more, running towards the giant snake.

This little guy is so fearless...

Although he couldn’t detect any hostility from the giant snake either, he couldn’t just trust his instincts that easily.

However, seeing Keke so confident, he decided to follow along.

Keke ran to the front of the giant snake, stood up with his little body, and waved his little paws twice.

The giant snake then slowly and cautiously lowered its head, its large eyes staring at the tiny little creature on the ground, and then tilted its head slightly.

Its expression seemed to be pondering: Where did this tiny little thing pop out from? It’s so small!

It was indeed quite small.

Especially in such a comparison.

Keke’s tiny body was even smaller than the giant snake’s eyes.

This scene instantly struck Xu Xin as somewhat comical.

The giant snake’s mouth slightly opened, and from its throat came a hissing sound.

”Eep!”

Keke suddenly jumped up, grabbed a scale under the giant snake’s jaw, and directly climbed into its mouth!

”Keke!” Xu Xin’s pupils shrank suddenly. He immediately took a big step forward and rushed over.

However, the next second, Keke was already clinging to the giant snake’s sharp tooth, climbing onto its face, and then directly onto its head.

”Eep!”

On top of the giant snake’s head, Keke stood up, puffing out his chest.

Xu Xin: ”...”

What is this little guy doing!

The giant snake didn’t mind at all, its head tilting twice, before it stopped moving and focused its attention back on Xu Xin.

Xu Xin exchanged a glance with the giant snake for two seconds, feeling even more bewildered.

”... Hello, we’d like to enter that vine branch, could you please step aside?”

Xu Xin decided to attempt communication.

In line with the rules of this world, such a high-level giant snake couldn’t possibly not understand his words.

”Eep!” Keke also stood on the giant snake’s head and started calling out, ”Eep! Eep eep!”

He was obviously helping Xu Xin communicate.

The giant snake turned its massive head to look at the vine branch behind it.

Then, its enormous body started to move.

This time, the movement was quite rapid.

Xu Xin wanted to dodge the massive body of the giant snake, afraid it might crush him, but it turned out he was overthinking it.

The giant snake very cautiously avoided him, not touching him in the slightest.

... Could this big fellow really be on our side?

Xu Xin suddenly thought of the creek bottom crocodile he hadn’t seen for a long time.

The crocodile was just as friendly to him back then.

However, the crocodile didn’t undergo blood pattern mutation, whereas this giant snake obviously belonged to the advanced blood pattern mutated creatures.

If one were to compare...

It seemed a bit similar to the Blood Pattern Giant in the Hilly Resource Zone back then?

In no time, the giant snake completely left the vine branch, coiling itself beside it.

Xu Xin glanced at the vine branch.

Sure enough, the branch no longer had a metallic door like before but rather a gap similar to the main vine bundle.

His expression relaxed slightly.

Found it.

However...

He turned to look at the giant snake.

”Thank you...”

He was about to express his gratitude when the words got stuck in his throat.

Because the giant snake slowly opened its jaws and then lowered its head slightly.

A sphere emitting a soft white glow rolled right to Xu Xin’s feet.

This is...?

A treehouse core?

Is this a treehouse core?

How did this big fellow spit out a treehouse core?

”Eep!” He hadn’t had a chance to squat down and pick up the core before Keke quickly called out, jumped down from the giant snake’s head, ran to the treehouse core, picked it up in his mouth, and climbed up Xu Xin’s leg into his arms.

It appeared eager to give this core to Xu Xin.

Xu Xin glanced at the giant snake.

He saw its crimson vertical pupils staring at him, motionless.

He reached out and took the core that Keke held in its mouth.

”Isn’t this the treehouse core...”

His murmur came to an abrupt end.

Because, in that moment, an unfamiliar mechanical voice sounded in his ears.
