Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 669: Chapter 451 Finally Out! (Two-in-one large Chapter)_2

”Wait a moment.” Xu Xin stopped Keke.

”Ying?” Keke turned back, tilting her little head.

Xu Xin rotated his wristband and released the treasure chest monster.

With the treasure chest monster around, he didn’t need to exert effort to collect these things himself.

”Swallow all these things and keep them safe, be careful.”

The treasure chest monster’s lid snapped open and shut twice, then opened its gaping maw, and numerous vines shot out.

Xu Xin continued walking with Keke, while shouting to the others, ”Keke can find keys, we’ve already found the third one. Hand over the keys to us, everyone try to collect things from the shelves!”

”Ah, that’s great!”

”Whoa, is that Brother Xin’s treasure chest monster? It looks awesome!”

”Hurry and collect things, who knows if these statues will suddenly come to life!”

Others weren’t too surprised by Xu Xin’s magical little panda.

Soon, Keke led Xu Xin through the statue group, arriving at various locations, digging out shiny golden keys from obscure spots.

I have to say, these locations are really hard to find. Basically, unless all resources and items are collected, you can’t find them at all.

The treasure chest monster also worked efficiently, quickly consuming and storing the pile of feed, then followed closely behind Xu Xin, sweeping up most of the resources wherever he went.

Along the way, he saw many resources.

Besides the previously seen mutant creature potions, growth feed, metal bombs, he also saw a kind of metallic ore.

These metal ores ranged from blue to purple to gold levels.

The one Wen Guixin just tossed, was presumably this?

He casually picked up a piece of gold-level ore.

[Meteorite Ore (Gold): A kind of extraterrestrial meteorite that arrived alongside dozens of meteorites fifty years ago. The smelting is extremely difficult.]

Without much explanation, it still gave Xu Xin a slight shock.

Meteorites that fell fifty years ago brought this ore to the planet?

Fifty years ago, that time point is somewhat intriguing.

It must be related to the cataclysm that destroyed the world!

Moreover...

This gold-level meteorite likely forms the prison and those iron rooms from before!

Extremely difficult to smelt?

Looks like a regular survivor’s furnace definitely can’t smelt this ore.

No idea if Li Wenxi’s special furnace can smelt it.

Xu Xin immediately had the treasure chest monster gather these ores and continued to follow Keke in searching for keys.

”Ying!”

When Keke, from behind a shelf Xu Xin moved aside, retrieved a shiny golden key with her teeth, Xu Xin finally gathered six keys.

So, he gathered everyone at the warehouse entrance.

”I’ve found all six keys, and each key corresponds to a vine bundle branch, which is now clearer.”

In his introduction, the positions of the prison branches that can be unlocked with these keys became clearer.

The first key unlocks the northern vine bundle branch prison.

The remaining five correspond to the southern, southeastern, northeastern, southwestern, and northwestern branches respectively.

Coupled with his map ability, even underground, he could easily discern directions.

All the keys and vine bundles corresponded one by one.

”So, are we really going back to the starting point?” Zhao Xiaochuan asked.

”That seems right.” Wen Guixin nodded and said, ”After all, only there do the six vine bundle branches connect with the surface and resemble this side closely. Additionally, only at the starting point can we contact the vine branches.”

”So, does that mean each of us takes a key and acts separately?” Wang Lei asked somewhat gloomily.

”Acting together is not impossible, but... like that, we may not ensure completing the activity within the time limit.” Xu Xin raised his hand to look at the watch.

By now, nearly twelve hours had passed since the activity started, half the time was gone.

They had wasted too much time in this underground prison.

Moreover...

Ji Chaoyang hadn’t appeared until now, no one knew where he went.

If he doesn’t show up, someone needs to go to his side.

Besides him, Lou Fei’Er was also a problem.

At this point, Lou Fei’Er spoke out, ”But I really carefully observed the room, and there was nowhere to insert keys, right? I stayed in that room for nearly two hours, I basically searched all over and can guarantee there’s no mechanism inside.”

Her expression wasn’t looking too good either at this moment.

Thinking of going back the way they came made her head spin.

”But based on the direction each key corresponds to, it should be us returning to the original starting point.” Wen Guixin saw no issue, ”Perhaps it’s not in that room, but near the vine bundle? You haven’t explored that area, have you?”

”Well... I haven’t.” Lou Fei’Er replied helplessly.

She couldn’t explore it, as as soon as she came out she flew off at high speed.

But thinking of returning to the original starting point and recalling previous experiences, she lacked the courage to go back.

She gave Xu Xin a pitiful look.

Xu Xin understood her intent: she wanted him to stash her in his wristband, just to tag along.
