Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 654: Chapter 445: Isn’t This Too Unfair? (4,800-Word Chapter)

As they walked towards the prison, Lou Fei’Er shared her experiences with the group.

Her experiences were far more brutal compared to the others.

Just like Xu Xin had predicted, when she fell into this world through the gravitational mechanism and pushed open the door, the surrounding underground creatures charged at her like lunatics!

”Wait.” Wen Guixin interrupted Lou Fei’Er, ”The underground creatures outside will actively attack you?”

”...They won’t actively attack you?!” Lou Fei’Er was stunned, then understood Wen Guixin’s words, she widened her eyes, ”No way? You all...weren’t attacked?”

Wen Guixin, Wang Lei, and Zhao Xiaochuan exchanged glances.

”I indeed wasn’t attacked,” Wen Guixin said, ”I even used my abilities to capture a beetle, there were other insects and behemoths around it at the time, but they were completely indifferent. I just rode the beetle and let it bring me here. There wasn’t any other situation along the way.

”I’m not too sure. I’ve been using my stealth abilities the whole way, it was easy for me to get over here.” Zhao Xiaochuan stated honestly.

Wang Lei nodded and said, ”I also made my way here, I was initially cautious and circumvented the behemoths, but later I found out they weren’t interested in me at all, so I just walked past them, and they did nothing.”

”Huh?” Lou Fei’Er looked bewildered, ”This...huh? You all went through this? Then why...ah! This is so unfair!”

She suddenly felt unbalanced.

She had thought everyone was going through the same thing, but after breaking through and finally getting here, she found out she was the only one in Hell difficulty!

”Was I attacked because I’m a survivor? Or is it because I mutated?” Lou Fei’Er muttered, ”This doesn’t make sense, aren’t all of the underground world creatures mutated? Why is it only me...”

”You pretty much took the fall for us,” Xu Xin said, ”I had actually guessed all along that you would be in such a situation.”

By this time, they had already stepped onto the gravitational mechanism.

Lou Fei’Er was not quite sure what the cylindrical metal structure was, but she followed Xu Xin onto the gravitational mechanism.

As the gravitational mechanism began to ascend, Xu Xin shared his findings with the others.

Including the occurrences after he summoned the Silver King and his own conjectures.

”So, if we hadn’t entered the bracelets under the Red Mist and were constantly corroded by it, we would have ended up like Fei’Er, attacked by all the underground creatures?” Wen Guixin concluded, crossing her arms in front of her chest.

She occupied half of the gravitational mechanism’s area, since no one dared to go near her.

”Just my guess, but it’s probably quite accurate.” Xu Xin nodded.

”I told you, creatures in this world are too friendly, even more so than the beasts above ground, something didn’t seem right.” Wang Lei realized, ”Turns out we cheated!”

”Is that so?” Lou Fei’Er’s mouth slightly opened, ”Was the Red Mist supposed to have that effect? Hmm...that actually makes sense! I inhaled a lot back then, no wonder the underground creatures chased me so crazily!

They had already reached the top floor of the metal prison.

It was much safer up here compared to below.

Standing on the huge structure below made them feel unsafe, always thinking the ground would suddenly open up into a big mouth and swallow them whole, so being up here felt more secure.

They paused here, hoping to gain some clues from Lou Fei’Er’s experiences.

”So, being this dangerous, how did you make it through?” Xu Xin asked.

Lou Fei’Er continued to explain.

In her panic, Lou Fei’Er discovered her initial room was safe; she was only targeted by the giant beasts after she left the room.

This initial room seemed to be capable of masking her scent so as not to be discovered by the surrounding underground creatures.

Thus, before the surrounding behemoths could rush over, she hurriedly turned back into the room.

Once she hid back in the room, the surrounding behemoths didn’t gather again.

They lost their target and gradually dispersed.

During the few seconds she was outside earlier, she’d already glimpsed the sky behind and saw the giant vine bundle, and inferred that her current target was there.

In the split second she calculated the distance between her current position and the vine bundle, she almost considered just staying in the room.

More than ten kilometers!

It’s excessive!

However, she thought that the others should be in the same situation as her, if everyone were to think like her and give up, they would all be doomed. Moreover, she’s an agility-type ability user, with speed as an advantage, so she perked up again.

”Who would have thought you guys had it so easy...” At this point, Lou Fei’Er couldn’t help but mutter a sentence, ”Had I known, I would’ve stayed in the room, since more of me wouldn’t have mattered anyway.”

She carefully observed the situation outside from the door, ready to dash out at any time.

After multiple attempts over several hours, she finally waited until all three nearby behemoths were far from her room.

She took a deep breath and rushed out!
