Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 664: Chapter 449: This is really well-hidden! (A grand Chapter with 4,800 words!)_3

It’s of no use.

Instead, it made the two-headed giant lion in the cage roar at him discontentedly.

Retracting the halberd, he stepped forward and gently touched the railing.

[Mechanical Device (Gold): A device that can open the underground passage. It requires one to hold the device for a second to activate it. Non-mutated individuals will be electrocuted by the device.]

As expected, it’s the device for the underground passage!

So that’s how it is!

This mechanical device only gives that kind of electric shock to non-mutated people!

Indeed, the managers can’t be electrocuted as well, right?

Xu Xin immediately explained the situation to the other two.

”There’s actually such a device!” Zhao Xiaochuan exclaimed, ”It’s a bit unbelievable. If this is really a warehouse, it’s hidden too deep. What’s in there that’s so valuable...”

Xu Xin said to Lou Fei’Er, ”You activate the device, and we’ll enter the underground passage together.”

”Okay!” Lou Fei’Er nodded immediately and walked up to the cage.

”Yip!” Keke jumped out of her arms and onto Xu Xin’s shoulder.

Lou Fei’Er fully trusted Xu Xin, so without hesitation, she reached out and grasped the metal railing.

Then, they heard the sound of machinery turning beneath their feet.

This time, the sound was different from when Wen Guixin triggered the device. It was a rhythmic mechanical sound.

Next, the ground beneath them began to slowly descend!

”It’s actually descending?” Zhao Xiaochuan was surprised, ”I thought we would fall too... Wait! Wen Guixin is still below, right? Won’t she be crushed? Oh no, the device can’t be stopped now!”

Lou Fei’Er quickly shook her head and said, ”Don’t worry, even though she was shocked, she’s already recovered enough to move her arm and even tried to grasp the floor, so there’s no need to worry about her not being able to move below.”

”What if there’s no room to dodge...” Zhao Xiaochuan was still a bit worried, ”Wang Lei is down there too, right?”

”This is an underground passage; there’s no need to worry so much,” Xu Xin shook his head.

The mechanism slowly descended approximately a dozen meters, and the view in front of them suddenly brightened.

A passageway, about three meters high and more than two meters wide!

The passage was not long, just a few dozen meters, and at the end of the passage stood two people.

Isn’t that Wen Guixin and Wang Lei!

”Yip!” Keke jumped down from Xu Xin’s shoulder and ran towards the end of the passage.

”Oh! You guys came down!” Wen Guixin’s voice passed over from the end of the passage, ”Come quickly and take a look!”

”Hurry, hurry!” Wang Lei also waved to them.

The three exchanged glances and immediately ran over.

Then, their eyes lit up.

”Found it.” Xu Xin let out a sigh of relief, revealing a slight smile.

”This is the warehouse entrance, isn’t it! It’s really the warehouse entrance!” Lou Fei’Er said joyfully.

”This warehouse is hidden so deep!” Zhao Xiaochuan also exclaimed.

In front of them was a large door with a large keyhole on it.

Xu Xin reached out to touch the door.

[Underground Prison Warehouse Door (Gold): A warehouse door that must be opened with a key. Open it, and you will have access to the resources of the entire underground prison!]

No doubt about it!

”No doubt, it’s the warehouse door! Ah, you all finally made it!” Wang Lei, who had finally been found, said with a sigh beside Wen Guixin, ”I was really worried you guys couldn’t find it!”

”And you dare to say that!” Wen Guixin immediately glared at him, ”If you didn’t run around, we would have been here sooner!”

”My fault, my fault...” Wang Lei quickly apologized, ”I just couldn’t wait and wanted to come and verify first. Who knew I’d get shocked all over and fall down...”

”Hey, as long as you’re alive!” Zhao Xiaochuan gave him a punch, ”This experience of yours was really thrilling!”

”Haha, I knew you guys would definitely find the warehouse.” Wang Lei wasn’t worried at all, his mindset was incredibly positive.

”Alright, alright, it’s good that we found you.” Xu Xin said while he inserted the key he had already taken out into the warehouse door’s keyhole and then turned it.

”Click!”

The sound of the door lock opening echoed.

Then, without them having to push it, the door gently opened on its own.

Light shone from inside the door into the passageway, flickering slightly.

Inside, there was firelight!

”Quick, quick, quick, I’ve been waiting here for so long, already wanting to see what’s inside... Holy crap!!”

Seeing the scene inside the door, Wang Lei exclaimed.

”Yip!” Keke also let out a cry.

The rest of them all had their pupils contract, and everyone instinctively reached for their weapons!

In the approximately thousand square meter warehouse, what greeted their eyes was a vast array of...

Stone statues!

Stone statues of underground creatures!

They finally saw the stone statues again!

”Was it real! There are stone statues here!” Lou Fei’Er drew two daggers, her face tense.

”Be careful! I’ll go first!” Zhao Xiaochuan immediately said and then instantly lost his presence.

The group stared nervously at the giant insect and beast stone statues in the warehouse.

Xu Xin, however, was stunned by something else.

Because, the moment the door opened, a field of golden light rushed into his eyes!

This directly shifted his attention from the stone statues to these glowing golden things.

”...Is it real?” His eyes gradually widened.

This warehouse was actually filled with...

Gold-tier resources!

Holy crap!

Gold-tier resources!
