Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 667: Chapter 450: Shocking Discovery in the Warehouse (4,800-word long Chapter)_3

”Oh my God! It’s really something similar to the Red Mist!” Lou Fei’Er’s face instantly flushed with excitement, she took a deep breath and couldn’t wait to pour it into her mouth.

Then Xu Xin stopped her and took the potion out of her hand.

”What are you doing!” Lou Fei’Er was a bit anxious when her potion was snatched, ”Give it back to me!”

”Can you guarantee that after you drink it, you will still be normal?” Xu Xin glanced at her, ”What if you suddenly go crazy and attack us?”

Although this potion can be consumed by intermediate-mutated creatures, it’s always best to be cautious.

”Well... then why don’t you just put me in the wristband...” Lou Fei’Er looked eagerly at the potion in his hand.

”What’s going on? What happened?” Zhao Xiaochuan’s voice came from afar in the underground warehouse, ”Is there a problem?”

”Nothing, you guys continue.” Xu Xin replied, then gathered up all ten vials of potion on the rack, ”This place isn’t safe, don’t create extra trouble. Wait until things settle down or when we get back, then you can consume it.”

”Well... alright then...” Lou Fei’Er said reluctantly with a nod.

”Did you find anything on your side?” Xu Xin walked to a nearby shelf.

The shelf also had the same potion, a total of ten vials, all of which were packed into his backpack.

Now, he had twenty vials of potion.

These things are never too many.

”Ah, right, come take a look!” Lou Fei’Er immediately pulled Xu Xin over to the spot she was examining, ”That thing might be related to these stone-like creatures!”

Related to stone-like creatures?

Xu Xin quickly followed her to the location she was observing.

”This is...”

Here was also a rack, and on it sat a fist-sized metallic sphere.

It emitted a golden light, indicating that it was a gold-level item.

Xu Xin grabbed the metal sphere in his hand.

So heavy!

[Radiant Metal Ball Bomb (Gold): Contains special radioactive metal elements. When impacted, it scatters outward, causing radiation effects to surrounding organisms, petrifying their flesh and blood.]

”Hiss—” Xu Xin inhaled sharply.

This is...

A weapon?!

Isn’t this essentially a grenade?

And it directly petrifies the creatures hit by it?!

There are actually things like this here?!

”Also here!” Lou Fei’Er gestured to Xu Xin from beside another rack.

In a few seconds, Xu Xin packed all the dozens of radiant metal ball bombs on the rack into his backpack and then went over.

This rack also had metal ball bombs like before, only these were much larger than those from the previous rack!

[Large Radiant Metal Ball Bomb (Gold): Contains special radioactive metal elements. When impacted, it scatters outward, causing radiation effects to surrounding organisms, petrifying their flesh and blood, with a chance of causing a petrified mutation.]

Xu Xin’s pupils contracted.

Unlike the typical petrifying small bomb, this large bomb...

Has a chance of causing a petrified mutation!

Moreover, this introduction...

He turned to look at those still unmoving stone statues behind him.

Have they had petrified mutations?

”These weapons are too powerful, I feel like we shouldn’t stay here for long.” Lou Fei’Er surveyed the surroundings, ”If one were suddenly tossed here, we might all be petrified.”

Xu Xin slowly nodded, ”Speed up and search, besides these resources, see if there are any clues for escaping this prison!”

”Alright!” Lou Fei’Er nodded and was about to walk away when Wang Lei suddenly called out.

”Hey hey hey, you guys! Come check this out! I found the key to completing this mission!”

Except for Wang Lei, the others were now shocked by the findings on the shelves. Hearing him say this, they all turned to look at him.

At this moment, he was holding up...

A very large, metal key!

A metal key at least twenty centimeters long!

The entire key glowed with golden light!

The four individuals distributed throughout the large warehouse quickly traversed the stone statue group and gathered towards him.

”Another key!” Wen Guixin exclaimed in surprise, ”There are keys hidden in this warehouse.”

”What is this key for?” Xu Xin asked before reaching him, separated by several meters.

”Uh...” Wang Lei scratched his head, ”It says it’s a key for a branch prison, unlocking them all can return us to the surface. I don’t know where this branch prison refers to. Why don’t you take a look, Brother Xin.”

Saying this, he handed the large key over to Xu Xin.

A secret pathway?

Xu Xin took the key in his hand.

[Vine Bundle Key (Gold): The key to unlock the northern branch prison of the Vine Bundle. There are six Vine Bundle Keys (Gold), each corresponding to one branch prison of the Vine Bundle. Unlocking all prisons will activate the main Vine Bundle mechanism, unlocking passage to and from the underground world.]

Seeing the description, Xu Xin’s eyes widened in delight, ”This is it!”

Finally found it!

Vine Bundle branch?

Xu Xin felt a stir in his heart.

Could it be that the six thinner bundles that plunged downward from the sky and brought them down here?

Wait...

”Passage” to the underground world?
