Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 634: Chapter 429: Re-entering the Underground World! (5,000-word Extended Chapter!)_3

”No, this time, it might not be individual exploration.” Xu Xin pondered, ”If it were individual exploration, why would this mechanism need six people to trigger it?”

”You mean...” Ji Chaoyang looked at him, with a flash of understanding in his eyes.

”What do you mean, Brother Xin? What have you thought of again?” Wang Lei looked over somewhat puzzled.

”I got it!” Zhao Xiaochuan clapped his hands, ”It’s like those escape games, even though players are in different locations, everyone needs to complete the task for the game to clear. Is that what you mean?”

Wen Guixin was taken aback: ”Games like that exist? If a teammate messes up, wouldn’t it be... good thing none of us here are weak.”

”Ah? If that’s true, I’m really getting nervous...” Wang Lei touched his head, ”I’m afraid I might hold you guys back...”

Xu Xin shook his head: ”It’s just a guess. The real situation will only be known once the mechanisms are triggered. We should hurry and trigger them.”

The group once again prepared themselves.

This time, their mindset was different.

Exploring together and exploring individually is a completely different level of difficulty.

”Do you have many blue-level oranges?” Xu Xin asked Lou Fei’Er.

”Um, only four left.” Lou Fei’Er looked at her backpack.

A blue-level orange can maintain a full state of spiritual power for two hours, four can only sustain for eight hours.

Too short, eight hours might not be enough to get out.

Xu Xin gave her thirty more, telling her to always maintain the blue-level orange state.

Her spiritual power is already weak; if she can’t stay in the fullest state, something might happen.

Finally, everyone stepped on the gravity mechanism once more.

The mechanism slowly sank, raising the hearts of the six people.

”Click!” All six mechanisms were triggered.

The previous scene played out once again.

”Good luck, everyone!” Wang Lei waved his big knife and spoke.

”You better watch out for yourself.” Wen Guixin crossed her arms, not looking particularly worried.

”Yip!” Keke waved a tiny paw.

Soon, Xu Xin couldn’t see the others’ shadows anymore.

Because the walls had completely separated them.

Looking upward, the metal ceiling was rapidly moving away.

He felt like he was on a very fast and comfortable elevator, descending.

The walls on both sides and behind him were rapidly rising.

Touching the walls now might directly scrape him.

”Yip...” Keke seemed to sense something, burrowing into Xu Xin’s arms, slightly scared.

Xu Xin petted its little head, continuing to wait.

He felt that the surrounding walls were gradually tilting.

And his body could also feel that he wasn’t moving straight down but diagonally down.

A map appeared in his mind.

Although the map could only see scenes on the ground, it also confirmed whether his horizontal position changed.

Sure enough, originally, he was beneath the Transmission Array.

But now, his position was already a kilometer away from the Transmission Array and getting farther.

It seemed they wanted to completely separate the six of them.

Xu Xin swiped his watch, wanting to tell the other five about his discovery.

But he realized that he couldn’t even contact the five people now.

”Alright, we’re completely separated now.” Xu Xin sighed, patting Keke’s little head, ”Luckily, I have you with me.”

”Yip!”

And also Mimi and Silver King in his wristband.

He wasn’t exploring alone.

The floor descended for about three minutes, and the speed began to slow down.

Clearly, it was about to arrive.

Xu Xin also exhaled slightly.

If it crashed into the ground at that speed, he wouldn’t be able to handle it.

Unexpectedly, he experienced an ”elevator” ride in this world again.

Soon, the metal floor ”elevator” came to a halt.

Below his feet was still the petal-like triangular floor, in front of him still the clamped walls. But behind him, where a wall once was, there was now a door.

A very familiar door.

It looked like a bank vault door, with a circular metallic handle like a steering wheel.

Isn’t this the iron room’s door?

So the room wasn’t without a door, but one would appear after triggering the mechanism.

”Yip...” Keke timidly shrank its small head.

”Keke, is what’s behind the door very scary?” Xu Xin rubbed its small head.

”Yip!” Keke nodded and squeaked affirmatively.

Xu Xin sighed.

He seemed to know what would be behind this door.

He didn’t release Silver King Mimi because...

Let’s see what’s outside first.

Walking to the door, he gripped the steering wheel-like handle and turned it with force.

The steering wheel creaked— it moved as he turned it.

The door, under his strength, was slowly pulled aside.

The scene behind the door appeared in Xu Xin and Keke’s eyes.

”Yip...!” Keke immediately clung to Xu Xin’s back, squeaked softly, and peeked out with its small head.

Xu Xin also took a deep breath.

The scene shocked him once again.

Just several hundred meters away from them...

Countless green and blood-red vines writhed madly.

Dinosaur-sized bizarre creatures were roaring and running among the vines.

Suddenly, it was entangled by countless surrounding vines, the thorny vines scratching its body, causing it to roar deafeningly.

But its roar didn’t last long before it abruptly stopped.

Because it was thrown into the bloodthirsty maw of a gigantic Cannibal Flower, emitting the cringe-inducing sound of bones breaking.

He even saw car-sized insects flying around the Cannibal Flower, with their tails emitting flashing lights, seemingly mocking the bizarre creature that was just devoured.

He had entered the underground world once more.

And this time, it was far more shocking than the last!

At this time, he was at the same height as these gigantic monsters, merely a few hundred meters away from them!!

This was too dangerous!
