Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 632: Chapter 429: Re-entering the Underground World! (5,000-word Chapter!)

Inside the bracelet, a few people sat together.

Both Silver King and Mimi were inside the bracelet, lying lazily beside Xu Xin.

”Why did that room suddenly release Red Mist?” Wang Lei lay on the ground, looking at the luminescent white space above, and said somewhat gloomily, ”Plus, we can’t trigger the mechanisms. If we didn’t have Brother Xin’s bracelet, we would be directly surrounded by Red Mist.”

Wen Guixin was sitting a few meters away from them, examining a treasure chest monster with a mouth. Hearing him speak, she turned around and said, ”Indeed, do you think this Red Mist is not some mandatory phase we have to go through? Like some sort of Red Mist baptism?”

Zhao Xiaochuan slapped his leg: ”Yeah, if we don’t go through the Red Mist baptism, will there be issues later?”

Red Mist baptism...

That’s something.

”Do you want to go out and try?” Xu Xin laughed, ”I can have Lou Fei’Er let you out.”

”No, no, forget it, forget it.” Zhao Xiaochuan waved his hand, ”I’m afraid I’ll pass out from the stench once I go out...”

Indeed, that smell was simply unbearable. For the survivors, it was like a spoiled herring canned with excrement, a life-threatening odor.

”In any case, if we can avoid inhaling the Red Mist, it’s better not to inhale it,” Ji Chaoyang spoke, ”Perhaps it would produce irreversible effects on our bodies.”

”Meow!” Keke nodded her little head in agreement.

It seemed she completely didn’t want to inhale that Red Mist.

Xu Xin directly used his watch to video call Lou Fei’Er.

It took Lou Fei’Er about ten seconds to answer.

The others gathered around.

The video showed a scene of Red Mist, where even Lou Fei’Er’s face was hard to discern.

However, her blood-red eyes and the faintly flickering red patterns on her cheeks were quite visible.

”Why did you take so long to answer? Did something happen just now?” Xu Xin asked.

”Nothing, nothing,” Lou Fei’Er replied a bit embarrassedly, ”I just had a little lapse because I was absorbing the Red Mist in big gulps, it felt so nice...”

”You can actually move freely in the Red Mist...” The others expressed their surprise, mixed with a bit of envy.

”...Don’t absorb the Red Mist in big gulps, if you can avoid it, do so.” Xu Xin frowned slightly. This person was at it again.

”Ugh... Alright...” Lou Fei’Er’s face, vaguely visible through the mist, fell slightly.

Xu Xin’s words were like telling a starving person to eat less at a superb self-service restaurant.

”How do you feel?” Xu Xin asked.

”I feel great, aside from a little lapse from absorbing too much Red Mist earlier, I only feel my abilities are enhanced, nothing else,” she replied.

She moved to the wall and glanced at the corner: ”The whole room is filled with Red Mist, but the discharge of Red Mist has stopped. The concentration in the room is not as high as that in the cabin, so it poses no threat to me. I haven’t even experienced those hallucinations from before, perhaps because now my Spiritual Power has greatly increased.”

It looks like she should be fine.

”If you stay in the Red Mist for a long time, will you really hallucinate?” Ji Chaoyang asked.

”Well, that was only during the first time in the Red Mist. Now I don’t,” Lou Fei’Er replied.

”Hey, hey, Fei’Er, what does the Red Mist smell like to you?” Wen Guixin asked curiously, ”Is it really not stinky at all?”

”Yeah, it’s not just not stinky, but very...”

Because the video was on, Lou Fei’Er sat down in the iron room, casually chatting with them.

After about half an hour, Xu Xin heard faint sounds from the video.

It seemed...

”Ah, the Red Mist is starting to fade!” Lou Fei’Er immediately noticed a change in her surroundings.

Xu Xin nodded: ”I hear some device in the room making ventilation sounds.”

”Is it finally over!” The others stood up.

In the video, the Red Mist in the air was gradually thinning, and Lou Fei’Er’s face was now visible.

The blood pattern on her face and the red glow in her pupils were gradually fading.

Within about three to four minutes, there was no trace of red in the surroundings.

”Alright, you can come out now, I’ll let you out,” she said.

Immediately, the five of them were released one by one.

As soon as they got out, they all lightly sniffed the air.

Hmm, there was only a faint fragrance in the surroundings, and the red was no longer visible.

”Haha, thankfully we had Brother Xin’s bracelet and Sister Fei’Er, or else we really would have passed out from the smell in this room,” Wang Lei took a deep breath and laughed.

Lou Fei’Er returned the bracelet to Xu Xin.

”Are there any abnormalities in your body?” Xu Xin asked as he received the bracelet.

”Don’t worry, no problem.” The blood pattern on her face was completely gone, she confidently said, ”It’s only been half an hour, before I could stay in a denser place at the cabin for half an hour daily and still crave more.”

”Makes me almost want to mutate.” Zhao Xiaochuan lamented, ”Seems really convenient.”

Ji Chaoyang had already stepped onto a mechanism.

With a ”click,” the gravity mechanism underfoot began to sink.
