Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 602: Chapter 413: Tool Person No.1

The group watched Yan Haoming’s transformation, their faces all showing signs of contemplation.

He had really turned into a furry freak.

It seemed their previous suspicions were correct, that furry freaks were humans who had undergone complete mutation.

Even if they seemed unable to speak or communicate.

Mutations like Lou Fei’Er’s, on the other hand, were a form that could harness mutation energy, not a complete mutation.

In other words, the former were products thoroughly eroded by mutation, while the latter could control mutation energy themselves.

Overall, the latter seemed to be more advanced.

Although in a normal state, they couldn’t exert the full power of the mutation, in a burst state, they could display strength beyond their own level.

At this moment, Yan Haoming, who was lying on the ground, slowly crawled up.

Then he let out a sharp scream, unlike a human’s, and lunged at Xu Xin fiercely.

Xu Xin’s eyes narrowed slightly.

This scream, sharp as a whistle, was the sound they had heard many times before.

Though Yan Haoming’s attack was powerful, it lacked any sort of technique; Lou Fei’Er directly took action, smashing his head to the ground once again!

”Bang!”

Blood splattered everywhere.

”...Don’t make it too bloody inside my treehouse,” Xu Xin frowned.

”Oh, okay.” Lou Fei’Er lifted Yan Haoming’s head.

His face was almost unrecognizable now, resembling a gorilla, with dark brown fur covering everywhere except near the nose.

His blood-red eyes stared fixedly at Xu Xin, as if seeing an arch-enemy.

...This isn’t easy to handle at all.

In this state, it’s hard to subdue him.

Considering his abilities, he could be a superb tool, and even play a superior role in certain situations, so Xu Xin was reluctant to give him up.

”You go ahead and continue.”

”Yes sir!”

”Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!”

Lou Fei’Er displayed an excited smile, her red pupils even brighter.

You couldn’t blame her; after all, intermediate mutations had an instinctual craving for slaughter.

”Wow... Is Lou Fei’Er always this violent?” Qin Fu looked at the scene in front of him, subconsciously taking half a step back and feeling a bit apprehensive, ”Good thing you didn’t treat me like this back then.”

His mutation level was still low, so the scene before him didn’t have much impact on him.

However, even if he reached the intermediate level, he still might not be affected.

After all, he was a rare spiritual power mutation.

”...What did you see underground at the Transmission Array?”

Amidst the sound of heads hitting the ground, Yan Haoming’s screams, and Lou Fei’Er’s occasional laughter, Xu Xin glanced at Qin Fu and asked.

”It’s really strange there, my ability can’t quite explore it. But I could tell the roots of your treehouse were avoiding that area. That means that area must no longer be within your protection range.”

Qin Fu spoke naturally, then paused with a blank expression, and shook his head helplessly: ”I can’t believe I said it just like that.”

The treehouse roots were already avoiding that area?

If that’s the case...

That area might have issues in the future.

...We’ll need to explore the underground there as soon as possible.

Lou Fei’Er still didn’t stop, after all, mutated creatures’ bodies were much stronger than normal ones.

The current ”Yan Haoming” wouldn’t lose consciousness or die from a few hits.

Moreover, to satisfy her lust for killing, she intentionally eased up a bit, just to make it last longer.

At this moment, Zeng Tao, who was a bit dazed, witnessed the unusually brutal scene and furrowed her delicate eyebrows, letting out a puzzled hum in her throat, and slowly, her vacant gaze began to clear up.

”...Ah!” She immediately widened her eyes, ”You you’re... What are you doing! Is this... that furry freak?!”

Her consciousness had returned.

Lou Fei’Er paused her actions, raising her blood-stained face, with an excited smile still on her face: ”Hey, you’re back to your senses? This guy is your most hated Yan Haoming. Care to smash him a few times? It’s really satisfying!”

Saying this, she lifted Yan Haoming’s head, his face still showing some vague features.

”Huh? Yan Haoming?” Zeng Tao looked at the furry freak that could only emit weak noises, ”He’s Yan Haoming? How did he turn into this?”

Xu Xin was also a bit surprised.

He hadn’t expected her to wake up at this moment.

Could a bloody scene really awaken someone’s consciousness?

”Is he really Yan Haoming?” Zeng Tao twitched her fists, with a slight impulse to join in.

”Stop.” Xu Xin immediately ordered the two to halt and stepped forward.

The two women obediently ceased their actions.

Lou Fei’Er stood up, making way for Xu Xin.

Zeng Tao blinked at Xu Xin, her face involuntarily blushing.

She tugged on Qin Fu, who stood next to her, and asked in a low voice, ”Hey, hey, do you think he gives off a sort of, like...”

”A very intimate feeling? Of course, he does, you’ll get used to it,” Qin Fu replied indifferently.

”But... but...” Zeng Tao couldn’t even look at Xu Xin, ”This feeling is just too...”

Then she gave Qin Fu a rather strange look, murmuring to herself: ”Could it be this guy also wants to...”

Xu Xin crouched in front of Yan Haoming.
