Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Capítulo 1295: Chapter 1086: Ambori’s Happiness

“It’s that Otherworldly Whale Kratos that Hill rescued back in Luskan!” Susu rolled her eyes helplessly, “Can you speak like a human? Are you just a dog spewing nonsense?”

You should know that our words are recorded, and someone could show them to Kratos at any time, playing them over and over again, right?

Although that little whale is a pitiful creature in front of Hill, it wouldn’t take much for it to turn you into a dead dog… As for us, we’ll just smile and watch you get smashed into a pulp.”

Yunfeng smirked, “It’s just a wrong adjective, no need to fuss, at most the little guy gets mad and throws a fit once.

Hasn’t he been with Purwell all these years? How was he let out, weren’t there a lot of Chromatic Dragons here?”

“Kratos had been recuperating in the sea of a half-plane inside Purwell, and only recently fully recovered.

After all, having undergone terrible experiments before, though Hill is good at healing, physical injuries are easy to mend, but toxins accumulated over the years, even Soul Poison, aren’t easy to remove, unless one completely abandons their body like Purwell, otherwise, it’s just a matter of enduring slowly.

Otherworldly Whales are a life-loving species; Purwell only accepted his fate when there was no chance of being saved.

Naturally, Kukatos would rather endure the pain.

He’s just out for some fresh air now!

He could have held on, but, you know, when Terry and Tasding get together, they’re noisier than the girls in our family.

Those two fantasize about an epic battle, how could the little guy endure that?

If he wasn’t so curious, how could he have been captured by humans?

It is said that Purwell got annoyed by his antics, and once the sea battle was over, just tossed him out.

Even though there are many dragons… nobody from Agleya City is ever afraid of dragons.

However, Purwell said that while he looks healthy now, it’ll still take a long time before he can open the Otherworld Gate.

But it doesn’t matter; nobody can open it now anyway.”

“Will he go back to Purwell afterwards?” Yunfeng asked with interest, “I’ve noticed that Otherworldly Whales attract evil forces even more than Terry does!

This little guy… would make great bait.”

“Would you not rather be directly sent to the Sea of Radiance by Purwell with a bubble?” Susu sharply replied.

Yunfeng thought for a moment, “Actually, I don’t mind a free trip.”

“What… are you trying to do?” Susu was dumbfounded.

“Terry and he have a good relationship, right?” Yunfeng revealed a particularly cunning smile, “Ask Terry if he’d like to take his Otherworldly Whale friend to this coordinate point to dig for Pearl Shells?

This is the treasure site I found back then, nobody else knows about it… The baby-fist sized Golden Pearl I sold to Hill last time was dug out from there.”

“So…” Susu ignored his previous words, realizing suddenly, “The last time you went out to sea on your own and almost died after more than half a month, did you get lost after all?

Otherwise, even if you intended to head north to Elvia’s Icepeak Island, how did you end up on the southern Moonshadow Archipelago?

Tsk, with a compass and you still headed south, you truly have a talent.”

Yunfeng’s mouth twitched slightly, “Why talk about unnecessary things? Just go and ask Terry!

The big whirlpool at this coordinate point actually has a slight optical illusion; it appears to be in international waters, but it’s actually within the territorial waters of the Moonshadow Archipelago.

If they dare to make a move on the Little Whale, it would count as a double attack… Anyway, ask the Double-headed Giant on the ship if they want to join in the excitement for a ride on the whale across the great ocean~

He should be interested.

Hurry up! The Anmur Navy will arrive soon!

As long as they agree to go, notify each Clan Leader to prepare and rally! Collect the metal fragments after the battle.”

“Well… I guess at least some of them would be unwilling.” Susu hesitated, “The Ancient White Dragons brought by Arausato haven’t left either; they’re scavenging with Terry and the others!

You know, the Chromatic Dragons that came are all Ancient Dragons, very cunning. Seeing these White Dragons doing this, several returned right after Tiamat’s death.

Maybe more dragons will come later.

Do you think that after our fight with the Anmur Navy, there won’t even be a single piece of seaweed left on the seabed?”

“Seaweed isn’t tasty anyway; do you think it’s kelp?”

“Just because you don’t like it, doesn’t mean others won’t eat it, are you stupid?” Susu seemed to realize that discussing this with an Old Dog felt odd, and her tone turned a bit hostile, “And don’t change the subject!

You can’t possibly use our family’s funds to fill this hole again, right?”

“What does it have to do with me?” Yunfeng smirked, “Just pass the word; if they don’t want to go, they don’t have to. It’s not mandatory; most people will still find experience more valuable than money.

I will always stand on the side of the public, you understand?

Only when even the public is unwilling, you can only rely on throwing coins.

If you throw money at everything, you’re either an idiot or a rich second generation.

Susu smirked and turned around to get back to work… As long as their Magic Cult’s always precarious treasury could be preserved… The Old Dog was indeed good at making money, but he’s clueless about spending it.

Edna watched the giant screen while trying to suppress Elvia who was glowing with golden light and had her heart set on flying to Snowfall Island to pick up money: “When we get to the Ningbrow Astrolabe, if there are any jewelry, I’ll give them all to you, okay?

Look, they have to pick up for a long time on the seabed to get 10,000 Gold Coins, but the jewelry worn by the mages of the Kingdom of Ningbro in the past wouldn’t be worse than those in Imasca!

Think of Tiamat!

The jewelry she desperately scrambled for, isn’t a string better than those on the seabed?

“You don’t want it?” Elvia thought of that Mithril Long Chain and gradually stopped struggling.

“Me…” Edna smirked, “In the days to come, I only want to wear new goods.”

Elvia finally realized that Edna is going to become Mystra… Although she had known, sometimes she would forget.

After all, Edna’s style of doing things is completely different from the impression given by Toril Gods.

Well, she is the Goddess of Magic, after all!

If the luxury jewelry on her body were recognized as being worn by some dead person, it wouldn’t sound good either.

The antique jewelry discussed by human Nobles means nothing to a deity whose time is eternal.

After all, with tremendous Divine Power, she’s not as shameless as Tiamat, Elvia thought she could understand.

As for collections with significant meaning… Is Josse Garden short of such things?

Mystree and the previous Mystra couldn’t blow up their own warehouse when they died.

Elvia doesn’t believe there’s any magic jewelry stronger than the ones in Josse Garden’s treasury.

Like Shaer, everyone can understand her seizing Divine Artifacts.

But if she crouches on the ground like Tiamat picking up those few pieces of jewelry, probably all the existences in heaven, ground, Abyss, and Hell would be so shocked their big eyes would pop out.

With her tense muscles and extended claws slowly relaxing, Elvia checked one last time: “Really all for me? Even if they’re prettier than the stars on you, you won’t fight over them?”

Edna said lightly: “I truly can’t imagine any jewelers on Toril outperforming Hill.

Even if there’s something unexpectedly remarkable… I can replicate it!

Am I ever short of gemstones?”

Elvia, understanding now, nodded and lay back down on the ground.

Seeing the White Dragon Queen finally giving up the idea of flying away, the dozens of light bands on Elvia’s body gradually slackened… Edna sighed in relief, she’d finally talked her out of it.

Though Elvia’s loud insistence on picking things up to sell could be seen by those three in the Floating Castle, at least it wasn’t executed.

White Dragons, seeing money and wanting to pick it up, isn’t embarrassing.

This level of joke, Edna felt she’d faced much worse… Actually, even if Elvia did pick up trash publicly, she thought she could barely withstand the odd looks from others once her identity was exposed, but if she could, she’d prefer to lose a bit less face.

Primarily, Elvia is bound to represent her in handling affairs on Toril in the future! Especially with those people she finds annoying yet unavoidable… The White Dragon Queen would definitely make them understand the other value of “Mage Killer.”

So, Edna hoped that Elvia could be a bit more reserved, acting like a messenger of the Goddess of Magic… At least don’t let all of Toril see her this… um… thrifty and frugal.

Edna mulled over ways to trick those Arcane Electors while subconsciously reaching to touch her own face… She wondered how much better she’d perform than Black Eye in the future, but at least in terms of thick skin, she believed she could match two Black Eyes.

Moreover, she’d definitely outlive Black Eye, never putting her life on the line for some pompous pride.

As for Midnight… Let the dead remain dead, why dig up the past?

Edna turned to see the Perfect Bald leaping energetically atop the mast, not feeling any fatigue at all, and still happily exchanging banter with Ambori.

Truth be told, Edna thought Ambori was quite happy too.

The reason the Goddess of the Sea on Toril was looked down upon, and even mortals would readily call her a bitch, was because she truly was a foul-mouthed shrew, and probably the one with the most curses on Toril was the sailors, whose crowning representative was Ambori.

In front of this fiery Queen, even Amanata with this Divinity couldn’t have much of a presence… When mentioning the Bitch Goddess, even in the desert where Ata’s stronghold was, the first reaction was likely Ambori, only later realizing that this Divinity did have an owner.

Therefore, Ambori likely hadn’t encountered anyone capable of trading insults with her for days and nights in over ten thousand years.

She really had her fill this time.
