Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Capítulo 1286: Chapter 1077: A Simple and Brutal Way to Fight

The two dragon gods must have discussed beforehand how to begin.

So Tiamat retreated to one side, glaring viciously at the cliffside castle with her eyes full of malice and trickery, occasionally rolling her eyes in the direction of the Undead Tribe.

She seems to hold a grudge from the events of Felunryel… If it weren’t for these undead interfering, how could her dragon egg have been cursed by Bahamut!

The Platinum Dragon God Bahamut paid no attention to Tiamat’s little actions; the hatred between them was forged from the day they were born, and it could never be resolved throughout eternity.

But when it concerned the future of all dragons, after swearing an oath to the Nine-Faced Dragon God Eo, cooperation became inevitable.

He gazed at the castle on the ground with his cat-like deep blue eyes: “Dare to humiliate us dragons like this, undead! Feel the wrath of dragons!”

Tiamat shot toward the castle in an instant, then suddenly stopped 50 meters away from the dark curtain surrounding the castle, and her five dragon heads began to attack simultaneously:

The blue dragon head unleashed a Lightning Burst with a width of two meters.

The red dragon head unleashed a flame cone, which was only two meters wide at the dragon’s mouth, but almost twenty meters wide by the time it reached the castle.

The green dragon head released a cloud of poisonous chlorine gas, and upon touching the dark curtain, it crackled and erupted into strange dark green bubbles. It then mixed with the powerful acid stream from the black dragon head, pouring toward the outer castle… The Undead Tribe, who originally intended to rush toward the castle for self-destruction, almost exploded with speed. From their reaction, those strange fumes must have quite the potent effect.

The white dragon head continued to spew Ice Cones.

It seems neither of them planned for long speeches; they simply dove right in.

Bahamut watched for a while before saying, “Flame and frost can be replaced; that thing they’re holding is likely the seventh secret artifact of Imasca, designed to combat Frost Giants and Typhon Giants.

It’s not surprising that this thing would appear on the Moonshadow Archipelago, originally a giant’s territory. It’s not difficult for us to handle.”

Tiamat’s red dragon head slowly turned brown, beginning to spew another type of powerful acid stream.

The white dragon head transformed into a blue one, and the combined Lightning Bursts, striking the dark curtain, significantly increased in power.

Even as Bahamut focused on observing the Vampire Castle, he continually unleashed sound wave blasts… occasionally even launching two Sunburst Explosions.

Hill noticed that he mostly covered the corners that Tiamat occasionally missed, perhaps worried about some invisible bats escaping from those areas.

The Undead Tribe quickly abandoned their attack attempts; once one accidentally entered the range of the sound wave attack, the pain was palpable.

If the Undead, with their reduced perception, found it so agonizing, one could only imagine the pain level for vampires, nearly akin to vampire bats.

Thus, Hill wasn’t surprised to see eight huge puppet dragons made of a metal he didn’t quite recognize suddenly rush out from the castle.

An angry howl erupted from Tiamat, who had been silent… Though two were gold dragons and one silver, the rest were her chromatic dragons, and complete as well.

“Why are you howling?” said Bahamut, who was ready for battle, impatiently, “Must you compare every instance where a few followers die? Didn’t you notice those two Dragon Balls from the brass dragon and the bronze dragon?

They’re probably planning to use those two higher-perception Dragon Balls to select an escape route, so have your chromatic dragons seal the coast well. If one escapes, don’t show your face in Toril for the next hundred years.

You’re already at odds here; only your dragon skin has some value left. If you lose even that, what will you have left?”

Hill suddenly took a step back… The sight of all ten eyes from the five-colored dragon heads rolling simultaneously was quite striking.

Tiamat’s dragon form might look different to a dragon, but to him, it seemed quite pathetic… Each head’s color covered its respective neck, then embedded into the front of the dragon’s body, gradually merging on her back and rump into gray, blue-green, and purple stripes, eventually fusing into a murky dark brown tail.

Her belly and limbs transitioned from pale green to corresponding colors on the upper body. The feeling was…

Never mind, Hill helplessly turned his gaze away: However artfully one might describe such colorful stripes, they only served to make one’s eyes dizzy.

Instead, he focused his gaze on that beautiful silver dragon!

At present, Bahamut was clearly the one making decisions… even Tiamat had no reaction to being so rebuked by the Platinum Dragon God, suggesting much had happened between them.

Before they descended, they might have already fought once… maybe even their true forms in the Outer Realm were happily battling right now!

Otherwise, Tiamat’s mouth is actually quite malicious, and she is very good at insulting… There must be another place for her to vent, that’s why she is so quiet now.

Shaer couldn’t help but move a little, then sighed: “Tiamat might as well use the image of her Dragon of Death.”

Hill understood her implication; even a skeleton looks better than this.

“But if she does that, there would be fewer spells she could use, right?” Hill said softly… Although the image is unpleasant, it’s obvious that her power is strongest in this form.

“That’s true, she normally wouldn’t consume so much divine power to manifest this true form.” Shaer stared at the giant screen and said, “The last big commotion should have been her resurrection, right?”

Hill turned his head to look into the distance: “Most of the giant dragons from The North are probably there, right?”

Ordinary dragons, even if flying from Agleya would be a little closer, would choose to detour from Deepwater City; it’s only Terry’s parents who dare to fly directly over the Sword Mountain Range. Accompanying them, the number of gold dragons and silver dragons is not small!

These are all dragons of Ancient Dragon level and above.

Most importantly, even when facing the chromatic dragons they have battled fiercely in the past across the void… In the sky, the distance between Deepwater City and Agleya City is not as far as on the ground… Yet these metal dragons remain very calm, just tirelessly flying toward the sea.

Purwell has already released the dragons from his mouth, letting them aid the Platinum Dragon King… Actually, it’s Arausato and his companions who are somewhat useful, perfectly matching the metal dragons.

Terry and Tasding can only slowly spew dragon fire nearby, relying on swift flying to dodge the sharp and forceful claws and tails of those metal dragons.

Bahamut, who has already burned four peculiar metal dragon puppets into puddles of molten iron with fierce light flames, looked at the white, gold, and mercury dragons, clearly getting along quite well, emerging from a ship with a somewhat strange expression. He turned and tossed a large, bright sunburst explosion fireball at the Vampire Castle.

Hill didn’t find it strange that he felt odd about the amicable relationships among these dragons… Known as the Lord of the North Wind, he has always been attentive to the Northern Continent, undoubtedly aware of some things happening openly in Agleya.

He lowered his head to ponder… Is Bahamut up to some trick?

Hill certainly won’t believe this dragon, known for hating evil, and titled as the Lord of Kind Dragons, is truly a ‘good’ giant dragon… The word ‘kindness’ in Toril seems to have turned into a completely new term.

But there aren’t many clues, and even his usually strong intuition fails to discern what this platinum dragon intends to do… As long as there’s no crisis, Hill feels he can handle it.

Bahamut didn’t slack off because chromatic dragons opposed the metal dragons; he quickly burned the remaining ones.

Initially, Hill didn’t sense anything special about these metal dragons… yet even Arausato’s dragon fire couldn’t burn a trace of them!

He silently summoned List, simply pointed to the cluster of small metal debris cooling and sinking below the sea surface on the giant screen, and before he could speak, his perceptive Tower Spirit straightforwardly said, “I’ll go to the Alchemy Hall and issue a reward, do we want any amount?”

Hill quickly nodded: “Collect them at mithril prices! If dragons bring them to sell, no matter who, we will buy.”

List calculated the amount of metal in front of him and clicked his tongue lightly: “With just this, you can say goodbye to three months of jewelry making.”

Hill slightly tilted his head: “I’ve already been making jewelry for three years!”

When the midday sunlight directly shined into the Vampire Castle, metal dragons and chromatic dragons, along with some gem dragons willing to act although not summoned, had already loosely but tightly surrounded Snowfall Island, forming a seemingly lax but actually very tight encirclement.

“My work is done.” After grinding away the dark sky curtain of level 50, Tiamat spoke in a low tone, “According to the agreement, all gold and silver jewelry in the Vampire Castle belongs to me; only divine artifacts and high-level strange objects need to be taken out and divided.”

Bahamut helplessly snorted, “I keep my word!”

Tiamat roared loudly at the Undead Tribe below who were pointing at her in accusation, “Don’t think about snatching gold coins from me!”

“Can you save some face for dragons in front of people from the Otherworld?” Bahamut suddenly said earnestly, “In the world of those elves, there are no dragons; can you show them the dragons’ strength, rather than being a dragon god who snatches even a single gold coin like a metamorphosis?”

Tiamat’s five dragon heads all turned to stare at him: “Ah! Right, so you’re snatching pearls, huh?

I don’t care what tricks you want to play! Now… the castle is mine!”

She spread her wings and flew, directly charging toward the Vampire Castle, her true form already exposed, its roof dissolved by poisonous acid.

Even though the castle was dark and silent, causing bystanders to feel a bit creepy.

But for Tiamat, all pretentiousness is futile!
