Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 1288: Chapter 1079: Arausato’s Grand Adventure

Arausato looked at the chaotic kitchen with a bit of confusion. Do these vampires have some kind of problem? The enemies are strong outside, yet they hold a banquet?

He slowly raised his head to look above... Wondering if the banquet hall at the top also had a long banquet table, but... it was certain that the little minions downstairs started feasting in the kitchen.

They only chose to escape or fight upstairs when the castle defenses were completely destroyed.

What is this called? Eat to the point of bursting even at death?

Wait... Is there something that can let the undead taste flavor?

If he guessed correctly... it was probably those low-level vampires taking advantage of the Vampire Duchess holding the Seventh Secret Artifact of Imasca being preoccupied, choosing to indulge themselves in a drunken stupor?

Arausato’s expression remained unchanged, but his thoughts were racing.

He always had a good relationship with the Undead Tribe, and of course knew about the halfling’s plea for help, but... that thing is a Divine Artifact, so of course, it wouldn’t be placed in a kitchen where people come and go without even a proper door.

And upon discovering the Dragon Ball, ’Snow Cloud Peak’ had speculated that the two dragon deities might appear, at least Bahamut would surely come.

For some unknown reason, the Undead Tribe is particularly confident in this aspect: whenever there’s an event with massive impact, some undefeatable big shot will definitely show up.

Arausato found it a bit unbelievable! How could Tiamat possibly sacrifice her Divine Power over such a thing?

She’s a unique oddity who would even retrieve her spilled blood to sell!

Who would have thought, this Dragon Queen actually cares about her race, huh?

Then why did she instigate Dragon Madness?

Could it be that because the Dracolich was also one of her Followers, she didn’t care if the Chromatic Dragons turned into Dragon Liches? On the contrary, it might even convert Bahamut’s followers?

What kind of bullshit logic is this? In the language of the Undead Tribe, isn’t this called ’taking off your pants to fart’?

Chromatic Dragons aren’t without those who would rather die than become undead!

Furthermore, many of the Evil Dragons’ neighbors are quite tough to deal with, many were killed instantly upon going mad.

He absolutely did not believe that there would be more Metallic Dragon Liches than the dead Chromatic Dragons!

Isn’t there something seriously wrong with Tiamat?

Or did she miscalculate again and got played?

Last time, it seemed to have been Bahamut who set her up...which makes sense, if those two weren’t naturally repelled by each other at first sight, just based on their harmony and mutual understanding, they’re truly a match made in heaven!

But this time... if it’s because the former Mistrala Elector set her up forcing the Nine-Faced Dragon God to come out and clean up, it’s understandable that Tiamat’s presence in Toril has been low in recent years.

Arausato flapped his wings as he walked slowly into the kitchen, unable to resist casting a Frost Magic to freeze the liquid and splinters scattered on the ground... Originally, the long table in the middle of the kitchen was filled with drinks and beverages, and the shelves on both sides were stocked with food, but they had all fallen to the ground due to the Dragon Queen’s attack.

The mess was annoying him a bit.

It seemed some Common Level Horns of Plenty were placed here by that Vampire Duchess for her subordinates to share.

That Divine Artifact should be beside her, right?

Arausato felt the Thief’s Stone clutched between his claws, hoping that ’Snow Cloud Peak’s’ strategy wouldn’t fail.

He would never openly go against Tiamat to snatch something!

For a dragon, any Divine Artifact appearing in front of them is theirs unless you have the ability to take it back.

Even Bahamut would be no exception.

So, the Undead Tribe commander had already transferred this commissioned task to Arausato... just by folding the mission reward to a ludicrous margin~

Plus, as agreed, any other Horns of Plenty would also belong to him, and the Undead Tribe promised to buy them at a high price.

Arausato felt he wasn’t a necromancer, having a couple with enough capacity to use during gatherings with Elvia would suffice, and others could be sold... The most important thing was, he didn’t need to offend his own means of living for any delicious taste.

Can even the tastiest meal be worth a Gold Coin?

Even if hand-made by the Halfling’s Chief God, it’s only valued at ten...oh, 20 Gold Coins.

Arausato slowly swept the trash out of the room, his dragon face full of dejection... Finally, the Green Dragon on the left and the Black Dragon on the right withdrew their attention.

Tsk~ The Ancient White Dragon scoffed in his mind, he wouldn’t be afraid of those two if not worried about causing a scene that would attract Tiamat.

Not all those who moved to Hell with Tiamat were old dragons, who on the Toril Continent was he afraid of?

In the past, when facing other Chromatic Dragons, he always took a step back, not because he couldn’t defeat any one of them, but because he couldn’t fight against the group!

Moreover, the descendants of his and Elvia’s offspring were indeed well taken care of by Elvia, forming a huge clan... Even though the Male Dragon didn’t care much about his offspring, he wouldn’t want to cause trouble and put all his offspring at risk of losing their lives.

White Dragons are really too weak before reaching the Ancient Dragon stage.

But now, Arausato isn’t afraid of those guys anymore! In a gang fight, with those guys, who could call more help than he?

He’s even eager for some guy to dare stretch his claws towards him!

Klaus, that guy, the giant White Dragon glanced up to the left, he’s just so cunning. Ever since he joined the Agleya Faction, that old Red Dragon hasn’t shown his face on the Glacier Sea side.

Probably scared to death by the Lord of Agleya.

Arausato used the Ice Cone Technique to push the trash in the kitchen with a ’bang bang’, the giant kitchen wall almost split open... but no secret room appeared. He sighed regretfully.

Slowly he pressed the middle table to the ground... twenty-something table legs smashed directly into the underground... that solid feeling proved that there was no space underground.

Lying on the tabletop Arausato held its tail and sighed... Tsk, the first Peeping Eye just left, but there are still three!

Tiamat is truly arrogant and greedy.

Isn’t she still dealing with the Vampire Duchess who wields a Divine Artifact? There are rather many bats on top, plenty of Dragon Balls, and always probing to control several Chromatic Dragons on the lower two levels.

It seems like the Duchess of Snowfall Island has quite a few helpers!

For the Dragon Ball to exert such strong power, there has to be at least a Seven Rings Mage.

No wonder Tiamat only let the few resistive Ancient Dragons in, outside that Platinum Dragon God’s sound wave attack never stopped.

Tiamat would rather endure Bahamut’s map cannon attack... Arausato muttered in his heart, where on earth did this enemy come from?

Could it be that Anmur’s Twin Magic Towers went all out?

They probably wouldn’t dare, would they? Across several mountain ranges isn’t there a Grand Temple of Shaer? There’s a Chosen named Abert inside!

A Chosen from Kalinsan just snatched a wave, could it be that Abert will snatch another round?

Arausato furrowed his brow, opening the drawers layer by layer with the tips of his nails... The cabinets had long opened due to various vibrations, yet he was not about to take away the kitchenware, after all, they weren’t made of Gold and Silver.

Those things wouldn’t appear in the kitchen, they were all hidden in specialized warehouses.

Arausato wasn’t jealous of the Black Dragon obviously heading toward the valuable goods warehouse... that guy probably soaked too much in water, his head was full of water.

Dare to go to such a place in front of Tiamat?

Even if that Dragon Queen sincerely wanted to reward these Ancient Dragons who flew in first to support her, once they returned, she would regretfully claw and scratch to take all those things back within a day.

Why else are those Peeping Eyes used for?

The Chromatic Dragon Queen prepared herself for regret long ago.

The White Dragon slowly put away the silver coins and copper coins flipped out from the drawer, along with the occasional silver plate... Probably prepared for today’s use.

Tiamat could tolerate these small items, as long as there wasn’t a half-square meter Golden Plate.

He silently sensed the disappearance of the third Peeping Eye... obviously, some Dragon found good stuff, Tiamat didn’t choose to immediately watch him here.

Arausato slowly stood up, walked to where his claws couldn’t reach at the very front to continue opening drawers, then happily collected some giant beasts and sea fish into his storage space... including several horns trapped beneath the huge tuna fish... How much Willpower did he just spend, using the impact of the trash to slam this fish onto the horns!

Don’t think Tiamat doesn’t know about the horns, but if he dares to put them away under her watchful eyes, her always suspicious nature will definitely try to confirm whether these giant beast horns are valuable.

Food is normal... After all, White Dragons, especially ones who raised families of White Dragons, never have enough food.

Arausato opened his drawers slowly again, two more Peeping Eyes came by, but after discovering that this White Dragon was indeed pathetically flipping silver plates without any ambition, Tiamat finally gave up... Arausato estimated this interval could last half an hour.

He swiftly turned around, using his strong and powerful tail to smash hard against the huge oven in the corner big enough to fit a whole tuna fish... making other Peekers outside think this White Dragon was disappointed and engaged in impotent rage.

Then the unhappy Arausato grabbed that big oven with his foreclaw and shook it violently... A tiny Thief’s Stone slipped from the tip of his claw onto a horn stuffed full to the brim inside the oven at some point, quickly taking that horn into the Void.

The Ancient White Dragon furrowed its brow and hurled the oven directly out of the broken window... with a face full of frustration slowly walked out of the kitchen, trying to find hidden enemies in the courtyard.

The other Giant Dragons didn’t take it to heart, thinking he was trying to catch some decent Vampire.

How could it be?

White Dragons, even if they live long, sure aren’t any smarter!
