Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 1290: Chapter 1081: Tiamat’s Victory?

On the top floor of the castle, the Chromatic Dragon Queen wasn’t aware that one of her chosen concubines was already planning to look for another path... Although Tiamat wasn’t quite satisfied with the timid Arausato, she was even less satisfied with the other Ancient White Dragons.

At least this White Dragon had some intelligence.

Tiamat’s massive tail fiercely swatted away several small bats that dared fly behind her... Have they turned into bats with brains only as big as bats?

The tail of the Chromatic Dragon Queen had once killed a demigod!

And these half-meter-long small bats, relying solely on speed, dared come directly at her?

Tsk, this Black Dragon is rather stupid, actually venturing into the warehouse?

If he just took those metal cups and bowls outside, even if some were gold-plated or silver-embedded, Tiamat wouldn’t be dissatisfied.

But he dared take things made of pure gold, even mithril and mithril?

So foolish, he probably wouldn’t pass the test of other male dragons in Hell... Tiamat hopes her freshly-acquired young flesh wouldn’t meet such an end, how embarrassing for her to choose such a useless creature personally!

Better to simply enjoy above.

Tiamat sprayed venom with her five huge heads at the Vampire Duchess holding a thick book in her hands, clad in a black tight long robe, and a young male mage wearing an ancient robe and a blunt-toothed crown on his head... After reducing the defense circle, this thing seemed much stronger!

The crown needed no consideration; the moment she saw that strange pale purple metal and the approximately 3-inch diameter blue-black Starry Sapphire in the center, Tiamat, familiar with Toril’s divine artifacts, knew what it was.

While mulling over when the first divine artifact, supposedly buried deep in the Imasca ruins, was unearthed by these Anmur people, she continued to observe those male dragons she selected.

Unless another Ancient White Dragon capable of rivaling Klaus appeared, Arausato’s antics didn’t bother the Chromatic Dragon Queen at all.

All she required was fresh flesh... Intelligence, would any Chromatic Dragon surpass her in intelligence?

Long having forgotten about the Felunryel incident, Tiamat was extremely confident... She didn’t actually fear any young whelp born to vie with her for the position of the Chromatic Dragon Queen, threats were meaningless.

There were numerous threats to her, but did any truly have the power to destroy her?

However, for the proud Tiamat, it was infuriating that her male dragon chose their offspring over herself... Especially that Felunryel she once thought was built for her; the more she contemplated, the more she felt she was blamed unfairly, inciting the wrath of the Toril Gods, making even her descent problematic these years... Otherwise, the Dragon Madness wouldn’t have ended so foolishly.

Tiamat adamantly didn’t believe it was Samast who deceived her; it must be Toril Gods retaliating against her!

Yet ultimately, wasn’t it the dragon egg that reaped the enjoyment?

Hence, Tiamat intended to drag that father and daughter out, to be burned alive in the square of her palace!

As for the Anmur young noble who apparently came here out of some ambition... The kind that was clearly royalty, dreaming of restoring the ancient empire, and trampling all other races underfoot, Tiamat couldn’t care less.

That’s humanity’s problem to deal with... Let them resolve the aftermath themselves!

Tiamat’s target was only those Dragon Balls... Of course, those secret artifacts had to be taken too, and whether the vampire and male mage not holding the Dragon Balls lived depended on how fast they fled.

Tiamat let out a sharp, sarcastic laugh... After all, they’d die eventually, the later they died, the worse they’d end up!

The Imasca of that time was indeed powerful, but could they truly surpass the deities?

Just that God Above Gods of Toril performed experiments time and again on the beings of the land, driving the capable humans and deities away thousands of years ago... And thus, the once-prevalent Divine Kingdoms on earth perished of their own accord.

Who could endure that!

Like the original hatchlings of the Chromatic Dragons, even if they didn’t enter her Hell’s Kingdom, they ventured far and wandered the Stellar Realm.

But those from other worlds, those deities of the Anser Divine System with legacies on the Ferun Great Land, would they ever admit, they suffered because they fell for AO’s ruse? Thus, Imasca’s reputation grew louder over the millennia, as if acquiring their ruins would overthrow Mystra and kick Lansendel.

Could there really be idiotic believers?

Whenever Tiamat thought of the price she paid to eliminate those two deceived by AO, who used dragons as test subjects, she fumed... Though her true downfall was due to attempting to strike Bahamut hiding within the Anser Divine System alongside, only to be counter-calculated, forced to perish together with that ghostly Pharaoh who didn’t even wear proper clothes.

Tsk, two Imasca Mysteries were indeed vexing, both magic resistance and physical resistance were quite high... Her avatar still had its limitations.

Just bide her time!

Under no circumstance would she give Bahamut any chance to claim her property!

Tiamat glanced at the Amnur Mage hiding behind those two fellows, clutching the dragon orbs, their faces ashen... It seems they aren’t genuinely willing to use these dragon orbs either.

No matter if they created these dragon orbs or not, as long as they’ve been used, dragons can smell that scent and will consider it an eternal enemy. No matter which dragon encounters it, they will chase it for miles.

Although Anmur’s dragons aren’t numerous, there are many strong ones... If any dragon dares to build a nest near the Mage Tower, it definitely isn’t weak.

Especially those gem dragons, who are basically the gem suppliers for surrounding mages. Without some skills, they’d have been skinned and boned and served on a platter ages ago.

Tiamat specifically brought out the head of a blue dragon against that thick book. At first glance, she almost mistook it for that only preserved third secret artifact from the deep Mist of Imasca... But that strange feeling of disgust told her it was definitely not that gem book, as Tiamat never dislikes anything of value.

But it quickly became clear what it was, and the Chromatic Dragon Queen was about to explode with rage... No wonder it was placed together with these dragon orbs; every page was wrapped in dragon skin and made from dragon scales!

They even used a mithril book cover on the cover. If it weren’t for Tiamat’s always keen observation, she wouldn’t have discovered the dragon materials heavily suppressed by magic inside!

Even the magic within was written directly with Ancient Dragon’s dragon blood! Using the dragon blood of which dragon skin was used.

This could indeed allow this book to be passed down through the ages, never rotting, but what about their dragon pride?

Furthermore! After figuring out who the dragon skins belonged to, Tiamat became even angrier... Why is there more from Chromatic Dragons?

Is Golden Dragon skin not usable? Especially from Ancient Dragons, it’s practically no different from gold!

An outraged Tiamat forgot that the mage who did this disgusting thing must be more adept with evil spells, so how could they use kind alignment dragon skin, to neutralize the power of evil spells?

But this inexplicable anger did help her a bit... Bahamut, who was always shouting outside, was getting impatient, planning to ask if the dawdling Tiamat needed his help.

Fortunately, Tiamat finally decided to use all her power.

Of course, it was also because by this time, the Chromatic Dragons searching everywhere had basically cleaned the castle, and Tiamat finally recovered a small portion of the divine power she had scattered.

How to set up a complete space blockade while breaking the opponent’s defense, for a seasoned Tiamat, is a piece of cake.

She even had the leisure to blow a big bubble at the vampire who suddenly exploded into a bunch of small bats... Made with acid mist, absolutely reliable and secure.

As for that foolish Anmur Nobility, Tiamat grinned with five dragon mouths... She certainly knows how to intercept the Thief’s Stone~

If it weren’t for insufficient divine power, she wouldn’t have set up this large isolation circle only after breaking through the opponent’s defense?

Ha~ Within the castle’s range, not even a bug can escape... That’s the most poisonous smoke and strongest space blockade!

Anyway, as long as these two idiots don’t put down the divine artifact in their hands, she absolutely wouldn’t turn off this blockade, Tiamat snorted and clawed to crush alive all those junior mages daring to use dragon orbs.

Tsk~ If it weren’t for the dragon curse on them, she’d definitely enjoy these reddish-brown minced meat with steak!

After Tiamat tidied up those foolish mages, her five heads divided into two parts, together grinning at those two crazily struggling main handlers.

Her old habit of tormenting people to death flared up again.

Bahamut clawed at the castle’s outer wall, peeking inside: ”Tiamat, have all the dragon orbs been destroyed? You’re starting to play?”

Tiamat patted the dragon orbs on the ground that were shrinking rapidly in acid poison water: ”Golden Dragons take a bit longer, just ten more minutes. What’s the hurry?”

”Then I’ll... take a look at my former territory, AO won’t let us stay in Toril too long.” Bahamut blinked his cat-like big eyes, suddenly laughed and asked, ”Don’t you want to see the City of Ten Thousand Dragons from the Dragon Worship Church?

I remember it’s just east of the World’s Ridge Great Glacier, should still have quite a few worshipers inside!”

”You talkative fellow, are you even a male?” Tiamat replied disdainfully.

Bahamut shrugged: ”If I were female, who’d look at you?”

Then he laughed heartily, avoiding Tiamat’s angry strike... If the Chromatic Dragon Queen had been this diligent, it wouldn’t have dragged on for so long.

Bahamut strode away, leaving behind the furious Chromatic Dragon Queen.

Tiamat vented her fury towards the Platinum Dragon God on the vampire... The dragon orbs must be destroyed, but making them from dragon skin doesn’t matter; dragons themselves need to use it.

However, just as the big bat was about to turn to ashes, a black gemstone on her body emitted a faint light.
