Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 337: Chapter 136: The Elven God King with a Missing Corner of the Divine Throne (An Extra for the Alliance Hierarch of the Unparalleled Heavenly Master)

Spencer looked again at the halo slowly rotating outside the moon’s halo.

”What about the Moon Elves?” he couldn’t help but ask, ”Silvermoon seems to have said nothing to them?”

”There used to be a great silver tree on that halo, now it’s gone.” William shook his head, ”It seems Silvermoon hasn’t yet decided how to deal with them, and for now doesn’t want to manage anything.”

They silently watched Silvermoon for a while, feeling a hint of sorrow for the lives of the Moon Elves, controlled by a deity.

Though their lives were long and their powers great, a foolish deity had led them towards extinction.

It’s no wonder Silvermoon doesn’t bother with them anymore, now there are no pure Moon Elves left.

While human lives are short and also influenced by deities, compared to these elves, humans are much freer.

The legacy of humans always relies on their own will.

The deities of humans are merely directions of faith, not masters of all humans.

Of course, these two had no idea that their faint sadness was actually unnecessary.

The Moon Elves are still alive and well! Though their Moon Tree is just a sapling that has just started to grow, though their souls are still dormant.

Even if Silvermoon no longer cares for them, after a few tens of thousands of years as the tree slowly grows, the Moon Elves will once again appear in this world.

At that time, they can also choose their own destinies.

This is why Hill hadn’t mentioned the tree to Silvermoon at all.

He hesitated at the Silvermoon Altar but still didn’t speak up to make a request.

From the moment Hill planted the Moon Tree, the fate of the Moon Elves had gradually begun to separate from Silvermoon.

The sun and the moon are the sources of life for many creatures in this world, but not their masters or beliefs.

Therefore, the growth of the Moon Tree only depends on the mood of Silvermoon, who has no obligation to use their Divine Power for beings that are no longer their children.

But if Hill were to ask, the fate of these Moon Elves would once again be entangled with Silvermoon.

Hill didn’t feel that he had the right to decide the lives of these Moon Elves.

Perhaps, compared to a life lived in confusion, it’s better to be born according to the laws of nature.

Siblings born from the same tree no longer have to revere the Goddess of the Hunt, who received the most Divine Power, as their main deity, regardless of whether she was foolish enough to lead the Moon Elves to their deaths, they could only watch helplessly.

If the Goddess of the Hunt had not fallen to the Evil Faction, at least when Silvermoon officially appeared, she could have returned the Moon Tree to the Goddess of the Silvermoon, and the Moon Elves would still be Moon Elves, and Silvermoon’s followers would still be theirs.

However, the Goddess of the Hunt from the Evil Faction, even surviving till now, no longer had the right to speak in front of Silvermoon.

Hill knew when the followers of the Silvermoon Sorcerer appeared, that Silvermoon was unlikely to reclaim the Moon Tree.

He had even hesitated, wondering what he would do if Silvermoon asked for the tree back.

But unexpectedly, Silvermoon had completely given up on these followers.

They were unwilling to take in those who had once strayed into evil.

Although the Goddess of the Hunt covered her stars, at that time, her constellation was also in a position leaning towards evil, the curtain had not grown enough for her to remain in the exact middle of neutrality.

So after awakening, Silvermoon probably didn’t plan to take the Moon Elves back into their hands, did she?

She chose Valencia, finding new followers among humans in the Chaotic Kind Faction, how suitable they are for Her!

The Silvermoon path of the Moon Elves, from the moment the Goddess of the Hunt aimed at the Deer of Nature, was completely ended.

Chaotic Kind, for the requirements of kindness, are the most absolute.

The brother of the Silvermoon Wolf God had built the Silvermoon Altar long ago yet never intended to become one of the Silvermoon Series Deities, and that had something to do with his faction, didn’t it?

Considering his skill in slaying both men and beasts and the stealthiness of his attacks, he could hardly be from a Kind Alignment.

Hill, who had once thought to wait for the official appearance of the Silvermoon to bring up the matter of the Moon Elves, had completely cut off that hesitation on the Cloud Ship in Wolf King Valley.

The future of the Moon Elves should still be left to them to decide themselves.

Even if they slept for tens of thousands of years, it wouldn’t really affect them.

As for now, Hill, awakened by a loud noise, was also lying on the balcony, gazing at the starry sky.

He deftly flipped through the previously recorded star map, confirming that a leg had indeed been bitten off the Divine Throne of the Elven God King.

The God King, who liked to represent himself with thrones, was now sitting on a chair missing a leg.

Hill didn’t know how many others, like himself, could not fully control the smiles on their faces.

Such satisfaction was truly pleasing to behold!

Moreover, the illusions of Silvermoon did not cover Hill’s eyes.

He clearly saw that, the moment the attention of the Elf Deity System was completely distracted by Silvermoon’s illusions, a wolf darted out and bit towards the Divine Throne of the Elven God King with its massive true form.

After one bite, it turned its head and ran without hesitation.

When it returned to Silvermoon’s side, the Goddess had quickly looped a circular Divine Artifact around the halo of Silvermoon.

The wolf moved slightly to the left and right, positioning its own stars within the halo.

Then it spit out the chair leg it had been biting.

The figure of the Goddess of the Silvermoon appeared above the moon, dressed in a white long dress, her moon-white knee-length hair gently fluttering.

After glancing down at the earth, she turned to walk towards the moon. Before doing so, she waved her hand, turning the chair leg in front of the Silver Wolf into a big bone.

The furious Elven God King’s loud roar got no response from Silvermoon whatsoever.

Instead, the River of Time and Space quietly began to flow again.

They were already allies, and if the Elven God King made another move, it wouldn’t just be Silvermoon alone responding this time.

It was normal for the Dwarven Deity System to keep silent, but it was also unusual that the Elf Deity System didn’t speak either.

Hill truly felt that things were getting interesting.

Even if this God King was the mighty Elf Chief God and all the Elf Deities were his loyal followers,

the fact that none of the Elf Deities jumped out to insult Silvermoon when their king suffered such humiliation,

might indicate that the Elven God King was overly arrogant,

not allowing anyone to discuss his disgrace.

Any Elf Deity who supported him would only receive his punishment.

Therefore, even if all the Elf Deities saw his three-legged throne and heard that illegitimate comment, they had to act as if they didn’t exist during that time.

Or maybe, the days for this Elven God King weren’t so easy either.

The pedigree of Elves is important, but perhaps it is not as important at the level of Deities.

The reason why the Moon Elves had originally chosen to ally with this Elven God King might also have some deeper reasons.
