Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1078: Chapter 620: Three Dramas

Zhou Yun sorted out the script issue of ”Female Assassin” and breathed a sigh of relief.

”Sister Xiao Yun, it’s snowing,” Zheng Xiaojue suddenly said.

”Really?” Zhou Yun turned to look out the window. The snowflakes were gently falling.

The day was gloomy, like a cluster of overlapping gray mist.

Every corner of this old city was cloaked in a layer of dim light by this haze.

The people walking in this city seemed to have less of their usual vibrancy.

Almost everyone hunched over, bracing against the wind as they moved forward.

Zhou Yun knew it was indeed cold outside.

If she were asked to go out, she definitely wouldn’t want to leave.

Windsor and Wen Bing broke up, Wei Heyun found his destined woman, Fu Yin and Yuk Chu are about to become parents, getting married because of an unexpected pregnancy. Everyone around her was changing.

Life is certainly about change, but knowing this doesn’t lessen her feelings of wonder when facing changes.

Director Kang Xin returned to the crew, and filming resumed its orderly pace.

Zhou Yun and Jiang Yuzhen’s scenes together were famously ”smooth” within the crew, rarely needing retakes due to performance issues.

Sometimes Zhou Yun wanted to shoot another take, sometimes Jiang Yuzhen did, and Director Kang Xin always agreed. Even though he thought the previous take was already great.

But as an experienced director, Kang Xin understood the importance of preserving the creative spirit and state of the actors.

Allowing Zhou Yun and Jiang Yuzhen to stay in this state ultimately saved more time than taking multiple additional takes.

Yu Sitian had been with the crew for several days but hadn’t had the chance to film her scenes yet.

She wasn’t idle; every day she visited the set, staying by Director Kang Xin’s side, observing Zhou Yun and Jiang Yuzhen’s performances, and occasionally consulting with Kang Xin.

Seeing Yu Sitian’s dedication, Zhou Yun felt a bit of admiration. Thinking about it, Yu Sitian managed to maintain her reputation as the ”movie flower,” working with various renowned directors and making films due to her abilities. Besides, her eagerness to learn is top-notch.

If Su Yan had shown an eagerness to learn similar to Yu Sitian’s while filming ”Heart Inquiry,” Director Kang Xin probably wouldn’t be reluctant to work with her again.

”By the way, Sister Xiao Yun, the drama starring Su Yan and Xu Siyao is set to air tonight,” Zheng Xiaojue mentioned during a break in filming.

”The drama they both starred in? Oh, I remember,” Zhou Yun asked, ”Where is it being broadcasted?”

”Simultaneously on Haijiang TV and Yuehai Network,” Zheng Xiaojue said, ”It was a sudden decision; there was no news yesterday, but today they suddenly announced the online broadcast.”

”Ah?” Zhou Yun immediately knew the show must have taken over someone’s time slot; otherwise, there wouldn’t be such a hurried announcement.

Zheng Xiaojue nodded and said, ”Originally, yesterday Haijiang TV’s official account announced that ’Yijiang Spring’ starring Gu Huaichun would air today, but suddenly it changed to Su Yan and Xu Siyao’s drama. Now, Gu Huaichun’s fans are all over the official account of Haijiang TV making a fuss.”

Upon hearing this, Zhou Yun laughed and said, ”I was wondering how you knew so much; turns out it’s related to your Brother Xiao Gu.”

”Yeah,” Zheng Xiaojue chuckled, ”I’m so pissed. I was really looking forward to Brother Xiao Gu’s show, you know? I’ve been waiting for it for a long time!”

”Gu Huaichun’s ’Yijiang Spring’ having its slot taken probably has nothing to do with them. TV schedule arrangements are often negotiations between production companies and TV stations. We actors can’t really influence it. Of course, Su Yan’s long history in the industry and her connections might have played a role behind the scenes, but it’s alright. If it was aired now, I would actually worry about ’Mother’ clashing with it anyway,” Zhou Yun said.

Zheng Xiaojue’s eyes lit up, ”Oh, that’s true!”

Zhou Yun said, ”’Mother’ will air on Hongcheng TV Station. These two dramas will inevitably compete when they air. It’s the first drama broadcasted by Song Chi’s Company, so it’s very important. What’s the name of the drama starring Su Yan and Xu Siyao?”

”It’s called ’Linjiang Immortal,’” Zheng Xiaojue replied.

”Just you wait. Neither of them is to be trifled with. I don’t believe they will remain on friendly terms once their projects are airing. Xu Siyao was previously determined to step on me to climb up. Now that such a good opportunity is presented, would she miss it?” Zhou Yun said.
