Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1053: Chapter 611: Paparazzi in the Hospital (Part 3)

Previously, it was necessary to fit Jiang Yuzhen’s schedule, so all of Jiang Yuzhen’s scenes had to be filmed first.

Now that Director Kang Xin is injured, the crew will definitely have to pause filming for a few days.

But Zhou Yun and Jiang Yuzhen didn’t expect that there would be paparazzi rushing to the hospital after hearing the news.

They disguised themselves as patients seeking treatment, wandering around the inpatient building, trying to locate Director Kang Xin’s ward.

Although Director Kang Xin is a director, he is also a very well-known one.

His injury and hospitalization will draw attention from many people.

When the paparazzi saw Zhou Yun and Jiang Yuzhen appearing together, they immediately took a few photos and then rushed up, vying to ask them questions.

”Mr. Jiang, Zhou Yun, we received information that Director Kang was injured on set and is hospitalized in this hospital. Are you here to visit him?”

Zhou Yun and Jiang Yuzhen were suddenly surrounded by the paparazzi and stood there dumbfounded, taking a while to react.

Jiang Yuzhen realized it first and said, ”Could you please ask the production crew about this? Xiao Yun and I are not here to visit Director Kang Xin; we are just here to see a friend.”

Jiang Yuzhen denied the fact that they were there to visit Director Kang.

Zhou Yun then followed Jiang Yuzhen, saying, ”Please keep quiet, this is a public place, don’t disturb others.”

However, the paparazzi did not believe what they said at all. They smiled and said, ”There’s no need to hide it, we’ve already got the news, and there are photos of Director Kang being carried out by your crew.”

Zhou Yun and Jiang Yuzhen exchanged a glance.

Zhou Yun smiled and said, ”Is that so? Please help protect the director’s privacy, okay?”

The paparazzi looked at each other in confusion.

Zhou Yun said, ”You’ve taken pictures of me and Sister Yuzhen at the hospital, you can use those for your report, just report that we’re visiting the hospital and don’t post anything else.”

She clasped her hands together, making a pleading gesture.

The paparazzi laughed and said, ”We’ve got to make a living too.”

”Aren’t the photos of me and Sister Yuzhen enough to make a living?” Zhou Yun said with a smile.

One of them sighed and said, ”All right, all right, since you’ve put it that way, let’s leave it at that.”

The other paparazzi exchanged glances again and nodded as well.

Zhou Yun gave them a sweet smile and made a heart gesture, saying, ”Thank you.”

Zhou Yun and Jiang Yuzhen walked a little further. Jiang Yuzhen turned to look back, mainly wanting to see if the paparazzi had followed.

To Jiang Yuzhen’s surprise, none of the paparazzi followed them; they had really left.

”They actually left,” Jiang Yuzhen said. ”Are you familiar with them?”

Zhou Yun smiled and said, ”Not really. Actually, a lot of times, our circle kind of demonizes them. They’re just doing their job to make a living. If it’s not something too private, I let them take pictures if they want. I’ve never stopped them and haven’t had any conflicts with them.”

Jiang Yuzhen was somewhat surprised and said, ”You’re genuinely impressive. It’s the first time I’ve seen an artist who can get along well with the paparazzi.”

”It’s about mutual understanding,” Zhou Yun said. ”Except for a few who go too far, most of them are just ordinary people. They need news, we need exposure, and both parties get what they need. By communicating well, many things can be negotiated. Of course, if you meet someone particularly unethical, there’s nothing that can be done.”

Jiang Yuzhen nodded and said, ”Xiao Yun, my impression of you has deepened. I really think that you’re quite mature for a young girl. My child truly needs to learn from you. I wasn’t this mature at your age.”

Jiang Yuzhen seemed to be full of praise for Zhou Yun.

Zhou Yun quickly waved her hand and said, ”Sister Yuzhen, please don’t flatter me so much; I’m not as great as you’re saying.”

”I’m not joking with you. You genuinely surprised me, kid,” Jiang Yuzhen gave her a thumbs up, ”I should learn from you.”

Zhou Yun hurriedly waved her hands.

The two of them arrived at Director Kang Xin’s ward.

Director Kang was lying on the bed, and his assistant was sitting beside him.

Seeing Zhou Yun and Jiang Yuzhen enter, the assistant stood up, greeted them, and said, ”The director is asleep.”

Zhou Yun and Jiang Yuzhen looked at the director lying in bed, who had his eyes closed, sleeping soundly.

He had been quite stressed lately.

Zhou Yun handed over the fruit basket and nutritional supplements she had brought, asking softly, ”How are the test results?”

”Nothing serious, just a sprained back. He’ll probably need to stay in bed today,” the assistant said.

Jiang Yuzhen also handed over the items she had brought.

”Ah, it’s really unfortunate for him,” she said. ”Since the director is resting, we won’t disturb him any longer.”

The assistant nodded.
