Jinling Jewelry quickly made a decision. No matter what the issue between Zuo Mo and his company was, to catch up with the next quarter’s promotion, this magazine’s promotion must not be delayed. Therefore, they decided to immediately contact another photographer to reshoot.

Luckily, Zhou Yun wasn’t on set recently, so her schedule was quite free. She coordinated a bit and managed to spare another day for the second shoot.

The brand had initially agreed to give Zhou Yun a compensation payment, but after discussing it with Zhou Lan, Zhou Yun decided it wasn’t necessary.

This reshoot wasn’t the brand’s fault. Although they hadn’t thoroughly investigated before hiring the photographer, resulting in the oversight of the issue between Zuo Mo and his company, it wasn’t a problem they deliberately caused.

Reshooting already increased additional expenses, and Zhou Yun didn’t want to add fuel to the fire at this point.

Of course, Zhou Lan believes that Jinling Jewelry doesn’t lack this bit of money.

However, Zhou Yun thinks whether they lack it is one thing, but her principles are another.

After all, she no longer lacks money. What she earns now is enough for her to live on for a lifetime, so there’s no need to haggle over such matters.

The person in charge of Jinling Jewelry naturally expressed gratitude to them.

Speaking of which, Zhou Yun’s side being so generous and cooperative, the higher-ups at Jinling Jewelry had no complaints.

They were already pleased with Zhou Yun as an ambassador and became even more so now.

But Zuo Mo wasn’t very happy.

He even directly messaged Zhou Yun and the liaison over at Jinling Jewelry, questioning: Why don’t you trust me?

Zhou Yun was a bit surprised when she received the message.

After all, this matter didn’t really boil down to trusting or not trusting Zuo Mo.

However, after thinking it over, Zhou Yun understood.

From Zuo Mo’s perspective, if they trusted him, they should wait until his lawsuit with his company was over before deciding whether to reshoot.

After figuring out Zuo Mo’s logic, Zhou Yun felt a bit helpless and unsure of how to explain.

Jinling Jewelry decided to find someone else for the shoot in such a hurry because they didn’t want the lawsuit to affect the launch sales of their new product.

For the brand, the loss in promotion is minor, but if sales are affected, that’s a significant loss.

Should she explain it directly to him like this?

It didn’t seem her place to explain the situation to Zuo Mo.

She relayed the situation to Zhou Lan, asking him to communicate with Jinling Jewelry and have them properly explain it to Zuo Mo.

As a result, the person in charge of Jinling Jewelry directly called her, apologizing for the trouble and distress caused by this matter. They then said they explained and communicated, but it seemed Zuo Mo was convinced that Jinling Jewelry didn’t trust him and was quite resentful about it.

The people at Jinling Jewelry were quite frustrated too.

If it weren’t for the issues with you and your company, this troublesome situation wouldn’t have arisen.

If Zuo Mo wasn’t a renowned photographer, Jinling Jewelry would have ignored him a long time ago.

Zhou Yun thought, no matter what, it’s better not to get embroiled in this mess.

...

At a charity event, Zhou Yun met Ning Yao.

Over the past couple of years, Zhou Yun had interacted with Ning Yao many times and always liked Ning Yao. She could feel that Ning Yao seemed to appreciate her too.

Good actors value each other’s work.

Zhou Yun and Ning Yao started chatting as soon as they met.

They talked about acting.

”I just watched ’Warm Little Horse’ recently. Wow, I really didn’t expect you to perform so differently than before,” Ning Yao praised the moment they met, ”It was amazing, I loved it so much, I even had my colleague download your scenes, and I watched them twice.”

Zhou Yun, flattered, said, ”Sister Ning Yao, please don’t say that, I feel so humbled.”

”You shouldn’t say that,” Ning Yao laughed.

Zhou Yun asked, ”Sister Ning Yao, I heard you got cast in Director Kim Bingde’s new film. When is it going to start filming?”

Ning Yao said, ”It’ll be next year. The director is still working with the scriptwriter to revise the script.”

Zhou Yun thought the film would start shooting soon, but it turns out there’s quite a wait.

She said, ”I’m looking forward to it.”

Ning Yao smiled and said, ”I’m also looking forward to your new film, is it called ’Falling Leaves’? I heard that ’Behind the Scenes’ was filmed while you were shooting ’Falling Leaves’?”
