The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 247: Chapter 247 Are You Going to Break My Leg?_1

The sky had darkened, and the vast open space outside the farmhouse was illuminated by countless lights as bright as daylight. One luxury car after another continuously entered the huge parking lot, with the roaring of engines sounding incessantly, stirring the atmosphere into a fervent excitement.

It was the height of summer, and women in cool clothing shuttled through the crowd, with bursts of laughter adding several degrees of heat to the air.

Carson Flores stood to the side with his arms crossed, taking in the summer night’s revelry.

People came here dressed in designer brands, sported luxury watches, drove extravagant cars, as well as those who drove vehicles worth only a couple of hundred thousand, some arrived by taxi, and others rode on motorbikes, the only commonality being their youth, most being under forty, with plenty of teenagers around eighteen or nineteen.

The streetlights along the road had lit up, but were spaced far apart, providing limited visibility.

Racing in the dark of night was all about the thrill.

Camille Rhodes and Kylie Martinez were quite popular here, many greeted them. Carson did not want to bask in that glory and said, ”I’ll take a walk around and find you later.”

Camille Rhodes, caught up in conversation, wanted to keep Carson by her side but knew he had his own mind and was unlikely to heed her.

Carson Flores was not like Wayne Singleton.

Moreover, Camille Rhodes had already told Kylie Martinez that they were just friends. With that being the case, what ground did she have to constrain Carson?

Carson casually strolled with his hands still crossed when someone approached head-on and barreled into his shoulder.

Carson instinctively stepped aside, and the oncoming person stumbled through empty air, taking a step forward to catch his balance before glaring fiercely at Carson, ”Are you blind, not looking where you’re going?”

Carson was slightly baffled and looked at the strange man before him, then beyond, instantly catching sight of a familiar figure.

Chaim Stout.

The very Chaim Stout who had previously been slapped twice by Remy Johnston’s bodyguard after summoning countless people to blockade the factory entrance because Carson had beaten up Harry Reid and others who were causing trouble.

Talk about a small world for unpleasant encounters.

Carson chuckled, ”Big Boss Chaim, what, planning to regain the face you lost today?”

Chaim Stout sneered coldly, ”What does it matter to me if you bump into this brother here? I’m just here to watch the races and place a few bets.”

Carson smiled, ”I happen to know Remy Johnston; are you sure you want to trouble me and risk another slap from Remy?”

Chaim Stout’s face turned red with rage and he sneered angrily, ”Remy Johnston only showed Ms. Miller respect and incidentally took you under his wing. You think you’re something special just because you beat Harry Reid and his gang? Think you’re invincible?”

Carson looked at the man in his thirties and smiled, ”Are you standing up for Chaim Stout?”

The man, knowing there was no point in hiding his association with Chaim Stout, and that it was obvious he was there to stand up for Chaim, replied with a brisk cold laugh, ”Chaim is my friend. He told me you were good at fighting, and I want to see for myself just how good you are.”

Carson enquired, ”Just like this? A direct fight?”

The man scoffed, ”If you’re not afraid of losing face, I wouldn’t mind beating you up right here. I’m sure everyone would enjoy watching you squirm.”

Carson nodded, ”Naturally, I’d rather not. How about we switch locations?”

The man seemed slightly disappointed, ”Sure, follow me. But if you plan to run, don’t blame me for not giving you face!”

Carson smiled and followed the man towards a secluded shadowy area in the back, with Chaim Stout following behind, smoking and sneering.

A mere security guard had humiliated him. Now that they had crossed paths again, it was time to retrieve some of that lost dignity.

If he had run into Shirley Miller, he would naturally steer clear, but a security guard was fair game; no one would care if he were beaten up.

The man who was about to strike was a ”Cultivator” friend he’d treated well. Chaim had spent quite a bit on him, and now it was time for payback.

Money should never be spent in vain.

They circumvented a row of green plant dividers, and the man stopped, turning to face Carson, ”I’m a generous guy, if you kneel now and apologize to Chaim, slapping yourself ten times, we can let this go. If you refuse, and I have to make a move, you might end up with broken arms or legs. Then, after being beaten up, you’d still have to kneel and apologize.”

Carson asked, ”Are you planning to break my legs?”

The man’s attitude was arrogant as he replied, ”Since you’re too stubborn to kneel, I’ll just have to help you. So, what’ll it be: kneel or not?”

Carson chuckled, ”You’re right, I am quite stubborn; I really can’t kneel. How about you go ahead and try breaking my legs?”

The man let out a cold laugh, ”You refuse the toast only to be forced to drink the penalty.”

Without wasting words, the man lunged forward, aiming a side kick directly at Carson’s shin. Clearly, he intended to break Carson’s legs on the spot.

Seeing this, Carson responded with a sweeping kick of his own, and their shins collided midair.
