The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 212: Chapter 212: Why Didn’t You Say Sooner?_1

The Rolls-Royce, wherever it went, was the focus of everyone’s attention; all the more so for this extended version, which was even more imposing.

Wherever the Rolls-Royce appeared, there was no need to clear a path; the crowd automatically dispersed.

The scene was like in the deep sea, where a dense school of fish parts ways for the approaching shark.

The Rolls-Royce stopped at the factory entrance. A bodyguard got out from the passenger side and opened the rear door, and Remy Johnston, dressed casually, stepped out from the car.

Remy Johnston’s gaze swept over the crowd and landed on Carson Flores, whose face was surrounded, and his eyes sparked with recognition.

Carson Flores slightly shook his head.

Remy Johnston instantly understood the signal and shifted his attention, moving his gaze past Carson Flores to land on Shirley Miller, who stood arms folded, watching the commotion.

Remy Johnston walked towards Shirley Miller, smiling, ”Ms. Miller, quite the bustling scene here. What’s going on?”

A smile emerged on Shirley Miller’s face. Having already heard about Remy Johnston inviting her to dinner that night from Carson Flores, it wasn’t strange for him to approach.

”Mr. Johnston, a bunch of parasites from the factory are colluding with outsiders, thinking I’m new here and planning to extort a hefty sum from me,” she explained.

Remy Johnston chuckled, ”Trying to extort Ms. Miller? That really is courting death by not seeing what’s in front of them.”

At these words, Eithan Fuentes and the others, who had been arrogantly proud, suddenly froze, their eyes reflecting panic and fear.

Who could afford an extended version Rolls-Royce, what kind of figure was that?

This wasn’t just a symbol of wealth but also of power and influence!

This person was associated with Shirley Miller?

As Remy Johnston passed by Carson Flores and Davis Bernard, he praised, ”Surrounded by so many, yet unflinching; a truly heroic figure, reminiscent of Zhao Zilong on the Changban Bridge.”

Carson Flores smiled, ”You flatter me, Mr. Johnston.”

Remy Johnston turned and his gaze fell on Chaim Stout, holding a cigar and trying to look cool but clearly unable to hide his tension behind his sunglasses, ”Are these your men?”

Chaim Stout felt a sinking feeling, ”Yes, who are you?”

Remy Johnston waved his hand dismissively, ”Disperse. Also, from now on, don’t make any more trouble for the pharmaceutical factory, or you’ll answer to me.”

Chaim Stout’s face couldn’t quite maintain its composure before his subordinates, and he asked firmly, ”If you want me to leave, you gotta give me a name to respect. Otherwise, why should I leave just because you tell me to?”

Remy Johnston laughed, ”You want face, huh? Heh, humans really are foolish, rejecting the respect given to them.”

Remy Johnston turned his head slightly and nodded with his chin.

The bodyguard following behind Remy Johnston stepped forward, approaching Chaim Stout.

Two of Chaim Stout’s men stepped up to block the bodyguard, ”What do you think you’re—”

Before one could finish speaking, the bodyguard closed in, grabbed him, delivered a fierce knee-blow, and then grabbed the other’s wrist, which wielded a stabbing knife, forcefully twisting it. The man’s wrist was bent backward ninety degrees, and it was obviously broken.

Chaim Stout’s complexion changed, and just as he was about to speak, the bodyguard had already stepped up to him, grabbed him, and slapped his face.

”Smack!”

Chaim Stout’s left cheek swelled instantly, and his sunglasses were knocked off.

”Smack!”

Another backhand slapped Stout’s right cheek, also swelling it and causing blood to seep from the corner of his mouth.

The bodyguard, unconcerned by the onlookers, dragged Chaim Stout before Remy Johnston and kicked behind his knees, forcing him to kneel before Remy Johnston.

Though Chaim Stout’s many men were armed, the oppressive aura emanating from the extended version Rolls-Royce enveloped everyone. They exchanged uneasy glances, and none dared to step forward.

Remy Johnston’s eyes swept around the circle, smiling, ”Seems like you’re not much of a leader, are you? Your own men don’t dare to come to your rescue even as you’re getting beaten up.”

Chaim Stout was not a fool; realizing the person drove a car worth over a hundred million and brazenly assaulted him in front of so many, it was apparent that the assailant had an intimidating background.

”How may I address you, sir?”

Remy Johnston smiled, ”My name is Remy Johnston. Ever heard of me?”

Chaim Stout’s face turned ashen, sweat broke out on his forehead, and his spine, formerly straight, slumped down at once.

Remy Johnston!

That’s one of the titans from Seashore! If Remy Johnston was the massive shark that patrolled these waters, then Chaim Stout was but a crab scuttling in a corner...

Oh crap!

This woman had ties with Remy Johnston, so why didn’t she say it earlier!

Why didn’t she say it earlier?

Why didn’t she say it sooner!

If she’d just mentioned Remy Johnston, even if I had eight times the guts, I wouldn’t dare meddle in your factory’s affairs, let alone consider extorting a penny.

The faces of Eithan Fuentes and others paled instantly, sheer terror filling their eyes.

It’s over!

This is truly the end, having kicked the iron plate!

This is Remy Johnston we’re talking about!

Some sat heavily on the ground, others’ legs gave out, all overcome with despair.

Sam Reid, the Head of the Equipment Department, approached with a forced smile and cautiously said, ”Ms. Miller, I was blinded by greed before. Please have mercy and give me another chance. I’ll resign and disappear immediately. Would that be acceptable?”
