The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 211: Chapter 211: Being a Security Guard Saves You Forty Years of Detours, You Don’t Know Shit_1

Cars kept arriving, and people continually emerged, joining the encircling crowd. They eyed Carson Flores with a predatory look, making for an intimidating scene.

Davis Bernard swallowed hard and whispered, ”Maybe you should just run now. With so many people, even if they don’t use weapons and just stand there for you to hit, it will take you half a day to fight through them.”

Carson Flores shook his head and chuckled. ”Numbers don’t matter, Liao is just one man. Taking him down will settle this.”

Davis Bernard was taken aback. ”Cut off the head and the body dies?”

Without mentioning he could handle fighting down the entire street if necessary, Carson Flores just nodded with a smile: ”Yeah.”

Davis Bernard frowned. ”It’s a plan, but it’s risky. Besides, even if you force him to admit defeat, he might seek revenge on you later.”

Carson Flores laughed. ”If he’s not afraid, why should I be? If he causes me trouble and doesn’t kill me, then he’s the one who’ll end up getting killed. Let’s see who’s afraid of whom.”

Davis Bernard looked at Carson Flores with admiration. ”Man, you’ve really got some guts.”

Inside the factory area, Shirley Miller furrowed her brows, her eyes betraying her worry.

She believed in Carson Flores’ combat power, but there were just too many people here. If a fight really broke out, the scene would be chaotic, and if something big happened, wouldn’t it spell trouble for Carson?

Turning her head towards Carson, she noticed he was chatting with Davis Bernard, wearing an easy smile, without a hint of tension.

He must have a way to solve this, right?

If not, worst comes to worst, they could always pay more money. The whole fuss these people were causing was all about money, wasn’t it?

Shirley Miller had figured out the intentions of Eithan Fuentes and the others. Indeed, they wanted to leave, but they were not willing to go quietly, hoping to exploit their complex local connections to extort a hefty sum from her. And this so-called Boss Liao wanted to seize this opportunity to demonstrate his strength, expecting her to submit and pay him protection money willingly.

Both parties had their own schemes and colluded with each other, targeting her for extortion, clearly considering her an easy mark.

Eithan Fuentes and the others, seeing the crowd grow, couldn’t help but smile.

Kid, you think you’re tough?

With so many people here, a single blow from each could finish you off!

Let’s see if you dare to remain cocky!

Boss Liao has called so many people over; today, it seems Shirley Miller is in for a harsh extortion.

As everyone was talking, the door of the black Mercedes opened, and Chaim Stout, hair slicked back in a pompadour and tied into a ponytail, stepped down. He wore a black T-shirt, a silver chain around his neck with a dangling cross.

Chaim Stout, in sunglasses and holding a cigar, sauntered over leisurely. Wherever he went, the crowd parted ways, flaunting the aura of a big boss.

”He’s here.”

Davis Bernard stood up nervously and then criticized in a low voice, feeling he showed too much fear: ”This guy really knows how to put on an act.”

Carson Flores chuckled, not uttering a word.

In his eyes, such a ’big boss’ was no different than Harry Reid lying on the ground; Carson could take him single-handedly!

Chaim Stout stopped four or five meters from Carson, standing among a group of thugs, his cigar pointed at Carson. ”Kid, you seem to fight well. I wonder if I have enough men for you to fight off.”

Carson laughed: ”There’s a lot of them, but they’re just a bunch of rotten potatoes, however many there are, they’re useless.”

Chaim Stout laughed heartily. ”Good, I like your spirit! Look, being a security guard has no future. Why don’t you work for me? I’ll pay you two hundred thousand a month, what do you say?”

At those words, countless envious eyes turned towards Carson.

Two hundred thousand a month meant two million four hundred thousand a year!

Just two years’ work could pay for a house in full!

Carson chuckled. ”You don’t know anything. I’d be a security guard at sixty, but I’m already doing it in my twenties, skipping forty years of detours, right at life’s peak. Get it? Working for you? How big do you think your face is?”

The surrounding crowd was dumbfounded. He refused?

If you’re going to refuse, then refuse, but what’s all this about life’s peak and skipping detours? Are you kidding around with Boss Liao?

Chaim Stout’s face darkened indeed.

Being made fun of by Carson in front of all his subordinates was humiliating for a boss like him.

Chaim Stout said coldly: ”Fine, if you’re not interested, then there’s nothing left to discuss. You’ve hit my men, and I need to get them some payback first. Then we’ll talk about what comes next. Boys, get him! Whoever takes him down, I’ll give a million!”

Everyone’s eyes lit up. They all tightened their grip on their weapons and stared at Carson as if he were a pile of cash.

Carson sneered. ”Is that all I’m worth, a million? Stingy, and you still call yourself a boss? Embarrassing.”

Chaim Stout’s complexion turned even darker. ”Some people don’t see the coffin until they cry. I hope you can still be as tough-talking in a bit. Attack!”

Just as all the thugs were about to rush at Carson with their clubs, a loud honk from a car horn suddenly erupted from behind the crowd, startling everyone. They instinctively turned their heads to look back.

A black stretch Rolls-Royce appeared behind them, moving through like a patrolling shark, slowly gliding past...
