The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 235: Chapter 235: Are You Not Going Home?_1

Carson Flores woke up, and it was already 3 a.m.

He opened his eyes, which had regained their clarity, and shook his head, as countless images surfaced in his mind.

These images weren’t 100% coherent, but they were still relatively clear, similar to the feeling one gets after drinking too much – at least it enabled him to understand what he had been doing during this period, rather than completely losing his memory.

Carson Flores tried to move but suddenly found out that he couldn’t.

His hands and feet were bound with duct tape and tied to the bedposts, his body spread-eagled, wearing no clothes with only a thin blanket over him.

Carson Flores looked at the tape on his hands, his expression showing a hint of subtlety.

The tape was wrapped pretty solidly, but for someone of Carson Flores’ strength, it wasn’t just about duct tape – even if it were hemp rope, he could break it instantly with a surge of Inner Qi.

Carson Flores didn’t rush to break free because he noticed he was still on that same bed.

He wanted to see what Camille Rhodes was really up to.

Camille Rhodes knew what he was capable of, yet she still restrained him like this, obviously only intending to let off some steam and not really wanting to harm him.

Although everything that happened was the result of Camille Rhodes’ tricks, in the end, it was she who had suffered the most. As long as his safety was ensured, Carson Flores didn’t mind letting Camille Rhodes get away with a little.

Men should be generous, after all.

Besides, it wasn’t like he suffered any loss; on the contrary, it was Camille Rhodes who got the short end of the stick...

”Hey, is anyone there?”

The bathroom door opened, and Camille Rhodes, wrapped in a bath towel, walked out.

”You’re awake?”

Carson Flores grunted, ”Camille, you’re the daughter of a tycoon. To drug a man – you can really stoop to doing such things without any concern for your reputation? Aren’t you afraid it’ll disgrace you if word gets out?”

Carson Flores, playing the victim, took the initiative to accuse her, ”You even used Euphoria Powder, you really must have too much money to burn.”

Camille Rhodes snorted coldly, ”You’re questioning me? You must be secretly pleased right now, aren’t you?”

Busted, Carson Flores’ expression turned slightly awkward, ”What are you tying me up for, huh? You planning to give me a beating or something?”

Camille Rhodes sat down by the bed, her finger landing on Carson Flores’ chest, ”Beat you? I can’t bear to do that. When I said I was your girlfriend, you accused me of talking nonsense. Now if I say you’re my man, that’s not nonsense, right?”

Carson Flores found he had no rebuttal, ”Although the cause was your doing, it seems in the end I got the advantage. So, tell me, what do you want to do?”

Camille Rhodes gritted her teeth, ”However you treated me, I will treat you the same!”

Carson Flores was stunned, and after hesitating for a few seconds, he asked cautiously, ”Just this?”

Camille Rhodes angrily clasped her hands around Carson Flores’ neck, ”Do you realize I could have died? You jerk! Think of me as some toy that you can just break apart?”

Carson Flores replied, at a loss for words, ”Who told you to use such a strong dose? You can’t blame me for that!”

Camille Rhodes sneered, ”I’ve never been as humiliated as I was then in all my life. Do you know that when you were asleep, I almost couldn’t resist killing you?”

Carson Flores grinned, ”You said it yourself, although it was due to some mishap, I’m still your man in the end. You’re not a praying mantis, and we’re not ending this with the female praying mantis killing her mate after mating. Let’s talk it out, okay?”

”Talk it out my ass!”

Camille Rhodes lifted her hand and threw the blanket over Carson Flores’ face, snorting coldly, ”Even if we have to talk, that’ll wait!”

Under the blanket, Carson Flores was stunned.

Is she really going for it?

Has this woman lost her mind?

But whatever was meant to happen between them had happened, enmeshed as they were, inextricably intertwined; so he just let it be.

Just go with the flow, he resigned himself.

However, Carson Flores had underestimated Camille Rhodes’ determination. She bit her teeth and retaliated against Carson Flores as she would against an enemy – this ferocious resolve was clearly meant to be his end.

Carson Flores remained silent at first, but eventually, he could no longer contain himself.

If this went on, he would be done for.

Carson Flores reached out and with one tug, he broke the duct tape that bound his hands, threw the blanket over Camille Rhodes, wrapping her up and holding her down, preventing her from moving.

Camille Rhodes, unable to struggle free, bit down hard on Carson Flores’ wrist, with so much force that she drew blood.

”What are you, a dog?”

Carson Flores, with a hint of exasperation, circulated his Inner Qi in his wrist and gently disentangled from Camille Rhodes’ grip, almost chuckling, ”You wanted to let off some steam, and I let you. Can we stop with the dirty tricks now?”

Camille Rhodes huffed, ”Let off steam? It was all to your advantage, you jerk!”

Carson Flores laughed, ”It’s the same outcome, but at least now you feel a bit more at ease, right?”

Camille Rhodes glanced at the marks teeth left on Carson Flores’ wrist, where blood had begun to seep out, and her eyes softened a touch.

She knew that Carson Flores had been letting her have her way.

Otherwise, with his strength, upon waking up he could have simply broken the duct tape and left without a fuss. She really wouldn’t have any way to stop him unless she asked her father for help and called in an even more powerful backup.

After a few seconds of silence, Camille Rhodes suddenly asked, ”Do you still want to go home?”

Carson Flores checked the time and sighed, ”If you’re not kicking me out, I can’t be bothered going back. I’ll just go to work in the morning.”

Camille Rhodes’ eyes brightened slightly, and she snorted, ”Whatever you want, I’m fatigued anyway. I’m going to sleep.”

Carson Flores released the hand holding Camille Rhodes down, pulled over a portion of the blanket and laid it over his upper body, and closed his eyes.

He was too tired.

As he drifted off, it seemed someone came close to him, and then nestled in his embrace.

Carson Flores didn’t bother, casually pulling them in and continued to sleep deeply...
