The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 240: Chapter 240 Kill You!_1

”Mr. Fitzgerald, don’t say that, Mr. Flores is very capable, and if you cooperate with him, you definitely won’t be at a loss.”

Leonard Reid chimed in beside them, hoping to ease the tension.

Shiloh Fitzgerald shook his head and said, ”Mr. Reid, if this were any ordinary matter, I would definitely give you face no matter what, but the Miller Family is our sworn enemy. If we really come to blows, it’s a matter of life and death, and you’re asking me to talk about cooperation with a green kid. This is no less than making a joke out of the lives of countless people in my Fitzgerald Family. I can’t give you face on this matter.”

Leonard Reid was left speechless by Shiloh Fitzgerald’s words, unable to speak up for Carson Flores.

Carson Flores smiled, ”Mr. Fitzgerald, you’ve actually got something wrong.”

Shiloh Fitzgerald scoffed, ”Let’s hear it.”

Carson Flores smiled faintly, ”The reason I had old Leonard ask you to come out was not to talk about how to cooperate against the Miller Family, but to kill you.”

As soon as Carson Flores said this, everyone’s complexion changed.

Shiloh Fitzgerald laughed heartily, ”Kill me? With just you, a green kid? Don’t sprain your tongue with all that bragging!”

Carson Flores spoke indifferently, ”Lydia Howell, stop Shiloh Fitzgerald from escaping. Don’t let him get away. I’ll disable his expert first!”

Lydia Howell coolly agreed, ”He won’t get away.”

Carson Flores leaned slightly forward, and in the next second, his foot and the ground suddenly made a sharp friction sound as he charged towards the man behind Shiloh Fitzgerald like a phantom.

The man sneered coldly, with a mocking glint in his eyes, and threw a punch with a vigorous and fierce punch wind.

Carson Flores didn’t dodge or make any flashy moves, but directly countered with a hard punch of his own.

”Bang”

The force exploded, and the sneer on the face of the man in black instantly solidified. His body flew backwards and slammed into a stone water tank in the courtyard.

Except for Lydia Howell, who still wore a cool expression, unmoved, everyone else’s face changed drastically.

Shiloh Fitzgerald looked utterly incredulous. The expert behind him was named Ares Fitzgerald, one of the family’s strong men, who had the terrifying strength of transforming Inner Qi into Gang Qi and protecting himself with Gang Qi. He was there only because Shiloh was the Family Head, responsible for the honor and decline of a great family, and thus had the privilege of being personally protected by him.

He was actually sent flying by Carson Flores with a single punch!

How could this be possible!

Leonard Reid’s eyes were filled with shock; he also hadn’t expected that before even three sentences were exchanged, they would have already started fighting.

Carson Flores was going to kill Shiloh Fitzgerald?

Leonard Reid didn’t believe it; he subconsciously thought that it was Shiloh Fitzgerald’s arrogant words that had hurt Carson Flores, prompting Carson Flores to explosively strike in order to regain the face he had lost.

The surprised expression was also evident on the face of the elder leisurely drinking tea behind Leonard Reid; clearly, he too hadn’t expected Carson Flores’s punch to be so ferocious!

Ares Fitzgerald rose from the ground, his face ashen. He had underestimated Carson Flores and had not used his full strength, resulting in a big loss.

In the world of cultivators, he was a well-known figure, after all, he was of the Gang Qi Realm, but today, he had been sent flying by a green kid in his twenties, which was an unimaginable humiliation!

Ares Fitzgerald charged again, this time going all out, his moves ruthless.

The two clashed over a dozen times in the blink of an eye, and then Ares Fitzgerald’s hands slowed for a moment, and Carson Flores once again kicked him hard in the chest, sending him flying across the space once more.

”Bang!”

This time, Ares Fitzgerald smashed into a cement-built planter in the garden, which directly collapsed.

Carson Flores stepped forward, leaped in the air, and stomped heavily towards the chest of Ares Fitzgerald on the ground.

Ares Fitzgerald, whose mouth was already bleeding, saw Carson Flores’s stomping foot and his eyelids twitched. He slapped the planter and, using the rebound, instantly shifted his body out of the way.

Carson Flores’s foot stomped down, landing on the green brick on the ground which instantly shattered.

Shiloh Fitzgerald’s complexion changed drastically, was this guy really here to kill him?

If that stomp had hit its mark, Ares Fitzgerald probably would have been a goner.

Once Carson Flores landed, he made no pause and turned, charging at Ares Fitzgerald who had just rolled to his feet. Carson kicked out.

Although Ares Fitzgerald crossed his arms quickly to block the kick, he felt as if his arms were about to break, his body being swept away by the surging force, scraping two clear marks on the ground.

”Pfft!”

A mouthful of fresh blood sprayed from Ares Fitzgerald’s mouth as he said in a low voice, ”Shiloh, let’s go!”

Shiloh Fitzgerald turned his head and promptly started running, but had barely taken a step when Lydia Howell already stood blocking his path, her gaze coldly fixed on him.

”You’re not going anywhere!”

Shiloh Fitzgerald snarled, ”Do you think I’m made of clay? Go to hell!”

Shiloh Fitzgerald rushed forward with a punch towards Lydia Howell, his power fierce and his fist wind whistling, but Lydia Howell didn’t even look, dodged like lightning and landed a whip kick directly on his body.

Shiloh Fitzgerald felt as if he had been hit by a car, his body flying backwards and slamming into the chair he was sitting in just moments before, which was smashed to smithereens instantly.

Shiloh Fitzgerald stared at Lydia Howell in terror, ”You’re in the Gang Qi Realm too?”

Lydia Howell’s mouth twitched slightly, her expression indifferent as she didn’t reply.

Shiloh Fitzgerald turned his head in shock and called out, ”Carson Flores, let’s talk...”
