The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 230: Chapter 230 The Richest Man in Tianhai_1

Carson Flores’s scalp went numb.

How could it be such a coincidence?

Just so happened, not a minute early, not a minute late, they ran into each other?

Nobody in the factory knew about the relationship between Shirley Miller and Carson Flores, and naturally, Shirley Miller didn’t stop to ask. Her car just slipped past Carson Flores.

Carson Flores and Shirley Miller shared a glance. In Shirley Miller’s eyes, there was no anger, only a twinge of puzzlement and curiosity.

Carson Flores snapped back to reality. Why should he feel guilty?

If she saw it, she saw it.

The BMW X5 disappeared, and Carson Flores retracted his gaze, turning his head to see the woman in the black dress looking at him with a teasing gaze.

Getting into the car with a composed expression, Carson Flores asked, ”Laughing at what?”

”Drive.”

The woman in the black dress rolled up the window and, turning her head with a smiling face, said, ”Will you be scolded when you get back?”

Carson Flores replied with a smile, ”What do you think?”

After thinking for a bit, the woman in the black dress said, ”Probably not, at most she’ll ask you about it. After all, it’s broad daylight, and she doesn’t know you kissed me, touched my breast. As long as you find a good excuse, you can easily get by.”

Carson Flores leaned back in the rear seat comfortably, ”Do you wish for my household to be in disharmony that much? What, are you waiting for me to fight and divorce so you can step in?”

The woman in the black dress sat up straight and stretched out her fair little hand, ”Let’s get to know each other again, I’m Camille Rhodes.”

Carson Flores shook hands with Camille Rhodes, ”I guess there’s no need for me to introduce myself, you probably know more about me than I do.”

Camille Rhodes said with a smile, ”No, your dossier only has the vague statement ’served in the military for five years,’ but it doesn’t mention where you served, and it can’t be found. I really don’t know anything about it.”

Carson Flores said with a smile, ”Curiosity killed the cat; woman, don’t be so curious.”

Camille Rhodes chuckled and withdrew her hand, ”I had to find you somehow since you didn’t leave me your phone number. Can you blame me?”

Carson Flores naturally didn’t argue with her, smiling, ”Where are we going now?”

”To eat. Isn’t it mealtime now?”

Camille Rhodes was smiling happily, but Carson Flores always felt that her smile was like that of a fisherman watching fish caught in the net.

Carson Flores smiled and said nothing, wanting to see what Camille Rhodes was up to.

The fish were certainly in the net, but it remained to be seen whether the fish was a sardine or a great white shark.

Camille Rhodes gave a slight smile, ”Just come with me, are you afraid I’ll sell you out?”

Carson Flores curled his lips dismissively, ”Who dare sells you? Your bodyguards will dismantle his bones one by one. Speaking of which, someone like you, why did you go to a bar alone?”

Camille Rhodes spoke with a deep look in her eyes, ”I had a breakup that day. I just wanted to drown my sorrows, going to a bar once, shouldn’t be a problem, right?”

Carson Flores laughed, ”A breakup, huh.”

Camille Rhodes saw Carson Flores’s incredulous smirk and pouted, ”Fine, it was a blind date. I didn’t like the guy, and my parents were pushing me. I told them he took me out drinking, and then I went to the bar alone to kill time...”

Carson Flores was speechless, ”You need blind dates looking like this?”

Camille Rhodes pursed her lips and chuckled lightly, ”Why wouldn’t I need to? Ordinary men don’t catch my eye, those I fancy might not be favored by my parents, and those my parents approve of might not be to my liking. After all this trouble, what are the chances I find the perfect man?”

Carson Flores smiled faintly, ”You know so much about me, but aside from your name, I know nothing. Can you be a little more forthcoming?”

Camille Rhodes’s eyes twinkled like flowing water, ”What if I don’t tell you? Will you investigate?”

Carson Flores lazily said, ”What’s there to investigate? I’m just a security guard, I have no social connections. Who would help me look into it?”

Camille Rhodes chuckled, ”You’re really low-profile. As the husband of Shirley Miller, the CEO of the Miller Group, you say you have no social resources—who would believe that?”

Carson Flores batted his eyes, ”My relationship with her isn’t actually that good.”

Camille Rhodes said with a mischievous grin, ”What, are you worried I’ll complain to your wife about you, and that’s why you say that?”

Carson Flores shrugged, ”Believe it or not, it’s up to you.”

Camille Rhodes looked at Carson Flores with a mix of shock and uncertainty. Clearly, she was no longer certain about identifying the truth in Carson Flores’ statements. After a moment’s thought, she said softly, ”My father is Bryce Rhodes.”

Carson Flores blinked, ”Is he famous?”

Camille Rhodes paused for a second, surprised, ”You haven’t heard of him?”

Carson Flores nodded calmly, ”I’m not from Seashore, and I’ve only been here for a month. If he’s famous in Seashore or here, then sorry, I really haven’t heard of him.”

Camille Rhodes suddenly laughed, ”You really are interesting. Alright, I’ll tell you. He is the richest man in Seashore, and if we talk nationwide, he was ranked fifth on last year’s rich list.”

Carson Flores laughed, ”That’s indeed impressive; no wonder you’ve dug up so much about me. Now that we’re here alone, why don’t you just openly tell me what you want? Whether it’s revenge or an apology, just say it.”

Camille Rhodes smiled coyly, leaning her body towards Carson Flores, she chuckled, ”I want you to be my boyfriend. Is that okay?”
