The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 223: Chapter 223 The Rich Young Lady and the Security Guard’s Love Story_1

”Heroes have a hard time getting past the beauty,”

Carson Flores joked casually, ”After all, it’s already something that she’s beautiful, but she’s also given too much.”

At Carson Flores’ last remark, Samantha Tate couldn’t help laughing, gave Carson Flores a white look, and said in a low voice, ”Snared by beauty, huh? Only a naive and pure little girl like me would be willing to be deceived by a married man like you. My sister has such a proud heart, many handsome young men pursue her, and she doesn’t even glance at them, let alone fall for you. Dream on!”

Carson Flores chuckled, ”Isn’t that the beauty of dreaming?”

Samantha Tate asked with a smile, ”Are you still having meals with her?”

Carson Flores nodded, ”Yeah, there are always things to discuss, and since we both stay at the same hotel, our rooms are next to each other. Isn’t it normal to have meals together?”

Samantha Tate pouted slightly, obviously a bit unhappy, but she didn’t voice her complaints.

After all, Carson Flores was still a married man. Although Samantha Tate and Carson Flores had an agreement verbally, they hadn’t actually crossed any lines, so it seemed she didn’t have much of a stance to question Carson Flores.

Moreover, Carson Flores was helping Shirley Miller. Otherwise, based on the scenario Carson Flores just described, Shirley Miller wouldn’t have been able to cope at all.

Let alone how she would have been bullied.

Thinking about her sister alone facing a group of hooligans, isolated and helpless, being verbally taunted, made Samantha Tate feel a bit sour in her heart, and she let it go.

Her sister had always treated her so well, how could she harbor dissatisfaction just because of some petty emotions?

Samantha Tate changed the subject proactively, ”Is there any news from the Miller family?”

Carson Flores shook his head, ”Not for the moment, no rush, let’s take it slow, we have all the time in the world.”

Samantha Tate hummed in response, comforting him, ”That’s good, I was just worried you’d be in a hurry.”

Carson Flores laughed softly, ”27 years have passed already; whatever was supposed to happen has happened; there’s no use in being anxious.”

”What are you guys chatting about? Seems like a real lovey-dovey talk, kind of bullying everyone here by flaunting your relationship,”

Looking up, Samantha Tate smiled, ”I just have a small shop, and I haven’t been involved in my family’s company. And as for him, no need to mention, just a worker. We don’t even understand the things you guys discuss.”

At that moment, nobody knew what to say because Samantha Tate had already said it all.

She had outright said she didn’t understand, and if anyone still pushed to make them talk or show off using this, it would just seem too much.

The diamond bachelor who had been quietly listening and hardly joined the conversation asked with a smile, ”Could you tell us how you met and got together?”

Immediately, the people around them started to egg them on, ”Yeah, do tell.”

Everyone clearly thought this romance was unequal. A love affair between a real estate heiress and a security guard? What kind of melodramatic story was this?

Samantha Tate must be out of her mind, or bewitched.

Samantha Tate looked at Carson Flores, seeking his opinion, ”Big brother, should I tell them?”

Carson Flores answered indifferently, ”There’s not much to tell, I think what you were talking about earlier was more interesting and eye-opening for me.”

Alexander Roth laughed, ”All these stories about couples in the business world turning on each other, fighting over property – those are nothing compared to your story of a golden boy and jade girl.”

The crowd also voiced their support, urging Samantha Tate to share.

Apart from the very few who still harbored certain designs, the rest were more driven by gossip, wanting to hear the love story between the white rich beauty and the security guard.

Such things are commonly seen on TV dramas, but witnessing them in real life was something entirely new.

Seeing that Carson Flores had no objections, Samantha Tate began, ”Well, my brother has saved my life twice...”

Her words immediately captivated everyone, who listened intently.

Samantha Tate narrated the chance encounter on the streets, playing the role of her boyfriend, saving her grandfather, and later the camping emergency where Carson Flores had shown his prowess and saved her once again.

As Carson Flores listened to Samantha Tate reaching the part about the camping trip, he immediately had a premonition that she was about to show off the video again.

As expected, when the crowd voiced their doubts, Samantha Tate quickly pulled up the video.

After watching the video, everyone at the table was stunned, and their looks towards Carson Flores changed somewhat.

He knows medical skills?

He can cure diseases that experts can’t?

He can fight?

One man can take on a bunch of wild wolves?

You don’t just know a little bit, you know a whole lot!

Smilingly, Samantha Tate said, ”My brother is extremely capable, I feel utterly safe with him around. I believe if anyone ever bullies me, he would tear those bad people apart just like he killed those wolves, to protect me.”

Suddenly, nobody had anything to say, and it seemed like Carson Flores, the security guard, had stolen the limelight at the table.

The diamond bachelor smiled and said, ”When I saw Miss Tate, I was attracted to her. I thought the woman I’ve been waiting for all these years had finally appeared, but I didn’t expect she would already have such a dark horse knight guarding her. Mister Flores, to tell you the truth, I envy you.”

He paused for a moment, then added, ”I forgot to introduce myself. My last name is White, Henry White. I’m an angel investor. If someday Mister Flores decides to start a business, perhaps I could offer some assistance.”

Carson Flores chuckled, ”President White, you’re too polite. I’m just a security guard, a man who’d rather lie down than sit when possible. Starting a business is something I definitely won’t do, not in this lifetime...”
