The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 218: Chapter 218: Are You Afraid of Hitting Me in the Waist?_1

”You can really hold your liquor.”

”It takes one to know one.”

By the time Carson Flores and the woman in the black dress left the bar, it was already one o’clock in the morning.

Both of them had a fair amount to drink; even with Carson’s astonishing Cultivator constitution, he was already tipsy, his thoughts beginning to float.

The woman’s bodyguard drove the car over and opened the door for her.

Carson said with a smile as he bid farewell, ”Beauty, I had a great time drinking tonight, see you if fate allows it.”

The woman in the black dress pursed her lips and chuckled, ”Not even leaving a phone number? Aren’t you afraid you might never see me again if we’re not fated?”

Carson laughed carelessly, ”If we’re destined, we’ll meet again; if not, better not to.”

The woman in the black dress blinked, her eyes like rippling water, ”But I don’t want to meet again. It’s rare to find someone I click with so well; I have a nice bottle of wine in my car, so why don’t we change the place and continue drinking?”

Carson said with a smiling squint, ”In the dead of night, a man and a woman alone together, why do I feel like you’re tempting me to commit a crime?”

The woman in the black dress smiled enchantingly, ”So do you dare to come or not?”

Staring at the woman, Carson declared, ”I’m a grown man, what’s there to be afraid of? It’s not like I fear you’re going to gut me.”

The woman in the black dress slowly sat back in the car, teasing Carson with a beckoning finger, ”As long as you’ve got what it takes to get in the car, I’m all yours tonight, for drinking or anything else; how about it?”

Carson replied with a slight smile, ”It’s your words, no regrets, okay?”

The woman in the black dress leaned forward, propping her chin with one hand, looking expectant, ”I keep my word, I’m really looking forward to it.”

Carson smiled suavely and walked towards the car, ”Then wait for me.”

The stern-faced man stood in Carson’s way and said coldly, ”You should just walk away. Keep the good memories; don’t spoil the mood by asking for trouble.”

Carson chuckled, ”The beauty invited me; if I don’t go, wouldn’t that make her laugh at me?”

The man didn’t speak again. He just stared coldly at Carson, his gaze mocking, as if looking at a toad lusting after a swan.

As Carson approached the man, the latter reached out swiftly toward Carson.

Carson, just as quickly, grabbed the man’s wrist, his movement as fast as lightning.

Their arms collided several times in the blink of an eye. Just as it seemed Carson would push through, the man grew desperate, stepped back, and threw a punch, its force whistling through the air.

But Carson, quick as a spark, eerily sidestepped the fierce punch and counterstruck, his fist landing squarely under the man’s ribs.

The man’s face turned pale, and his body was sent flying to the side.

Ignoring the man, Carson slid into the car like a fish, wrapped his left arm around the woman’s neck, leaned over, and boldly sealed her mouth with his.

”You... mmm!”

The woman in the black dress started to say something, but the rest got stuck in her throat.

Her eyes widened in shock and indignation.

She had not expected Carson to be so strong that he could defeat her bodyguard. Even more so, she didn’t expect him to be so bold as to kiss her as soon as he got into the car, not even giving her a chance to speak!

Just when the woman in the black dress indignantly thought to elbow Carson, he withdrew his head and, with one hand pressed against the rear seat, he cleanly exited the car.

At the same time, the bodyguard Carson had sent flying came charging over, his face red with humiliation.

”Stop.”

The woman in the black dress stopped him, bit her lip, and gazed at Carson with brimming eyes, ”A loss is a loss, you have to be willing to accept it...right, handsome?”

Carson smiled slightly, ”One has to be reasonable in life.”

The woman put her index finger to her lips and playfully caressed them, her actions flirty and seductive, ”So you’re not even giving me a chance to be reasonable, huh?”

Carson laughed lightly, ”Once a woman starts talking reason, men have nothing left to do.”

”What an interesting man.”

The woman in the black dress chuckled, her eyes sparkling as she looked at Carson, ”You’ve already gotten into the car and met my conditions, so I’ll make good on my offer. Let’s go somewhere else. There’s good wine, a big bed...”

Carson, still smiling, said, ”Take your time with the wine, enjoy your bed, and for me, I’m off to sleep. Any later and the missus will start to fuss, bye-bye.”

After saying that, Carson didn’t wait for a response from the woman in the black dress and crisply turned and walked away.

The woman in the black dress didn’t interfere; she just watched Carson get into a taxi with a smile on her face and then commanded, ”Remember the taxi’s number plate; check it later to see where he went.”

The middle-aged man respectfully replied, ”Yes, miss.”

The woman in the black dress looked down at her disheveled neckline; when Carson kissed her, his hand had been busy, grabbing quite a handful.

”Though he’s a handsome guy, having taken my advantage like that, I feel a bit discontented...”
