The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 245: Chapter 245: Watching so closely, are you my boyfriend?_1

”Kylie Martinez, are you that desperate? Hanging on to a guy isn’t enough for you, you start looking for another man as soon as you walk in; what’s the matter, can’t the pretty boy satisfy your huge appetite?”

Kylie Martinez?

Carson Flores turned his head to size up this striking woman; another member of the Martinez Family?

Kylie Martinez was very pretty, with long legs, a substantial bust, and a beautiful face. She had a sultry presence with fiery red lips and big wavy hair, fitting perfectly with the public’s image of a standard home-wrecking vamp.

If you were to compare Kylie Martinez and Camille Rhodes, Camille would be the seductive type, whereas Kylie was voluptuous. Camille’s charm was seductive with a touch of reserve, but Kylie’s was more about an unrestrained, vivid allure.

Do all the heirs of this nouveau-riche family have such good genes? One beauty comes out, and here comes another.

Kylie Martinez was not offended; she spoke with a smile, ”I just wanted to see what kind of man could make the usually haughty Camille Rhodes bloom with infatuation and unable to extricate herself...”

Camille Rhodes replied with a smile, ”Better than yours.”

Kylie Martinez looked Carson Flores up and down and mocked, ”Doesn’t seem like much; what’s so good about him? Super stamina, or does he last an especially long time?”

Camille Rhodes snorted, ”None of your damn business.”

Kylie Martinez laughed, ”That’s what you said, wasn’t it? How come you get to say it, but I can’t ask? Hey, handsome, let’s get acquainted. My name is Kylie Martinez...”

Kylie Martinez reached out proactively with her fair and soft hand toward Carson Flores. Before he could extend his hand, Camille Rhodes pressed down on Carson’s hand and huffed, ”Don’t you dare shake it.”

Carson Flores just smiled and did not reach out nor join the conversation.

Kylie Martinez withdrew her hand nonchalantly and chuckled, ”You’re watching him so closely, could it be that he is really your boyfriend?”

Camille Rhodes laughed, ”That’s none of your business.”

Kylie Martinez’s eyes showed a flicker of curiosity; she pulled over a chair and sat down directly. ”We’re old acquaintances after all. You won’t mind having a meal together, right? The more, the merrier, how about it?”

But Camille Rhodes did not shoo her away; she just rolled her eyes, ”Sure, as long as you’re paying.”

Kylie Martinez readily said, ”I’ll pay; no big deal. Wayne Singleton, take a seat.”

The handsome young man beside her sat down too, looking slightly stiff.

Kylie Martinez called the waiter over, ordered more dishes, and shouted for a bottle of red wine. She smiled, ”Want a drink?”

Camille Rhodes smiled, ”Since you’re treating, of course, I have to drink.”

All four of them poured themselves some wine and started to eat. Kylie Martinez said with a laugh, ”Now that we’re all sitting together drinking, let’s make proper introductions. I can’t just keep calling you ’handsome’ or ’hey,’ that’d be so impolite. This is my boyfriend, Wayne Singleton...”

Camille Rhodes glanced at Wayne Singleton, ”Careful, the woman sitting next to you is a femme fatale. Watch out or she’ll swallow you whole, bones and all.”

Kylie Martinez laughed, ”Come on, what’s with the scare talk? I only devour men in bed.”

Camille Rhodes pointed at Carson Flores, ”Carson Flores.”

Kylie Martinez pressed, ”Boyfriend?”

Camille Rhodes responded, ”Can’t we have dinner with just a regular friend?”

Kylie Martinez smiled and turned to Carson Flores, ”And what do you do, Carson?”

Carson Flores replied with ease, ”I work at a pharmaceutical company.”

”Work?”

Kylie Martinez was slightly surprised; in their circle, who still worked as an employee?

Kylie Martinez was a bit uncertain now; could they really just be ordinary friends?

But it seemed unlikely; Camille Rhodes had never brought a single guy here to hang out before.

Kylie Martinez did not pursue the matter further. Her interest in Carson Flores was solely because of Camille Rhodes. The two of them came from similar backgrounds and were both stunningly beautiful, naturally fostering a sense of competition. Over time, they could hardly stand each other, and whenever they met, they inevitably exchanged cold and cutting remarks; seeing the other in an embarrassing situation was always a pleasure.

”Are you placing bets today?”

Camille Rhodes replied, ”I’ll see later. Why, want to bet against me again?”

Kylie Martinez answered straightforwardly, ”Yes, we don’t necessarily have to bet money; we can bet something else. You made me look foolish last time, and I haven’t forgotten. You owe me a chance to break even.”

Camille Rhodes inquired, ”Found yourself a racer?”

Kylie Martinez wrapped her arm around Wayne Singleton next to her and said with a smile, ”Wayne Singleton is a racer; he’s really good at driving. I’m planning to let him race for me tonight.”

Camille Rhodes looked at Wayne Singleton, ”I don’t recall seeing you before?”

Wayne Singleton explained, ”I used to race on Dongshan Road; I haven’t been over here.”

Camille Rhodes made a sound of realization, ”The eighteen bends on Dongshan Road are quite tough; accidents are frequent there. What’s your rank over there?”

Wayne Singleton answered, ”First.”

Camille Rhodes seemed to realize and looked at Kylie Martinez with a sneer, ”You had to resort to playing the temptress to get a racer? Can’t you simply use money?”

Kylie Martinez laughed softly, ”What temptress? When Wayne drives, he’s really something. He has so many little fans on Dongshan Road. By snatching him away, two of them even cried on the spot...”

Camille Rhodes pursed her lips, ”That’s just like you, always wanting to snatch away what others like. You grab it, play around for a couple of days, and when you’re bored, you toss it aside.”

Carson Flores’s mouth twitched, talk about being blunt...
