[Stone Ox People (Level 8, Summoned Creatures): Experience (0/1000), Attack 19, Defense 20, Life 55, Skills: Stone Skin Skill, Soul Locking Skill, Netherworld Charge]

As the Soul Summoning Skill was cast, all the corpses on site were completely transformed.

Particularly those stone giants, all turned gray and white-skinned, nearly two meters tall, wielding large blades and iron chains like Minotaurs.

These are the eerie Stone Ox People.

They belong to the category of Undead creatures, but their situation is quite special. They have physical attack methods and the ability to deal with ghosts. Most importantly, when they accelerate for a charge, it creates an effect akin to Instant Teleportation.

During the charge, they carry the aura of the Netherworld. If a living being is touched by it, there’s no benefit, and if they’re weaker, they might just die instantly.

Gu Xi felt that he could use them to pretend to be Ox Head and Horse Face of the Underworld. At the very least, their level is higher than that of the Ghost Squad, and their defense is quite decent. When released, there’s no need to worry about someone seeing a massive group of White Impermanence being wiped out with a single strike.

After completing the transformation of the corpses in front of him, Gu Xi handed the Mechanical Centipedes to Dali, while the remaining troops voluntarily took on the role of porters, transporting all the materials collected here back to Yalidu City.

After gaining reinforcement in troops, Dali was quite happy. Although this time the reinforcement included only a little over a thousand, they were all Level 8 units, which was a substantial boost for Dali.

As long as Dali can assimilate all these Mechanical Centipedes and combine them with the golden-painted Skeleton Soldiers fortified over the past three months in the city, his forces will reach nearly seven thousand men.

By then, not only can they form a camp on their own, but even a regiment can be presentable.

Thinking of this, Dali was quite excited, believing this was his opportunity.

Gu Xi’s purpose in this world was to slay more enemies, and he would achieve this for Gu Xi.

Therefore, without needing Gu Xi’s urging, once he received these troops, Dali immediately led them out.

Meanwhile, Gu Xi, standing atop the Soul Summoning Tower, was also observing the situation on Dali’s side.

Earlier, when Gu Xi was summoning souls, he borrowed the power of the Yellow Springs Dragon Robe.

As Gu Xi had speculated, through borrowing the power of the Yellow Springs Dragon Robe beforehand, more Undead Bosses could be summoned than by directly using the Dragon Robe’s power, while consuming less energy.

Gu Xi had a fleeting thought—if possible, does this mean he could directly summon heroes this way during soul summoning?

Gu Xi touched his chin; perhaps he could find time to experiment again.

It appears that understanding the equipment at hand is also a significant and ongoing task.

He also needed to gradually shift his research focus onto the Equipment Carrier.

Behind these Equipment Carriers, there may be some ideas for enhancement, but Gu Xi hasn’t tested them individually yet, so he isn’t sure if these ideas are feasible.

Nonetheless, having ideas is better than having none.

What if it works?

After all, the effect of Orange Armor hasn’t even been utilized to one percent by Gu Xi yet.

In Gu Xi’s view, the reason Orange Armor is coveted isn’t merely due to its rarity.

But rather, it contains many non-literal effects.

Without the option to ask others, Gu Xi could only research it little by little on his own.

This experiment was part of Gu Xi’s plan.

It indirectly proved that the Flame Light Six Paths Lamp had a greater impact on both the Purple Armor and the Equipment Carrier than Gu Xi had imagined.

He took out his notebook, marking a check next to his two hypotheses, then flipped through it.

It recorded his conjectures about the Orange Armor during his spare learning time and some small experiments he wanted to conduct but hadn’t found time for.

Gu Xi added his recent intuitive insight.

Gu Xi then placed his hand on the Netherworld Dragon Robe Carrier once again.

Only this time, he used his right hand.

As soon as the Fox Eye Ring made contact with the Equipment Carrier, what was once an indistinct, featureless carrier suddenly gained a pair of eyes.

They were the same color as the Yellow Springs Dragon Robe, and through the Fox Eye Ring, Gu Xi could see the perspective of the Dragon Robe.

This was something the left hand did not achieve when in contact with the Netherworld Dragon Robe Carrier previously.

Gu Xi closed his eyes, observing externally through the perspective of the Yellow Springs Dragon Robe.

Gu Xi noticed that a Qi rose from all the troops outside.

This Qi was entirely gray, indicating that the troops he saw were all undead.

And this Qi, under Dali’s leadership, was converging into a steel arm.

This indicated Dali’s ability to lead these Undead Soldiers.

What he didn’t know was that this was the normal vision someone wearing the Yellow Springs Dragon Robe should have.

It’s a kind of Qi Observation Skill.

But since the Yellow Springs Dragon Robe was suppressed by the Flame Light Six Paths Lamp and not worn by Gu Xi, he naturally couldn’t experience this perspective.

However, that had now changed.

Earlier, at the Spirit Lamp’s Equipment Carrier, Gu Xi had inadvertently discovered the effect of perceiving an Equipment Carrier’s vision through psychic power.

Allowing Gu Xi to witness a different landscape.

This time, during the summoning, he placed his hand on the Yellow Springs Dragon Robe Carrier, aiming to test whether the Dragon Robe had any impact on summoning and to check the perspective.

Although the earlier attempt failed to have a noticeable effect, Gu Xi now used the ability of the Fox Eye Ring to see through the vision of the Equipment Carrier using psychic power.

Thus mastering this small technique.

If not, he would have missed something.

Gu Xi swept over the area with the perspective of the Equipment Carrier, and just as he was about to retract his gaze, he noticed something unusual in the distance.

It was shrouded in a layer of death qi, yet it didn’t resemble the lively death qi associated with his Undead Corps, creating a profoundly strange sensation. After deliberating earnestly, Gu Xi clapped his hand.

”Why didn’t I think of this?”

As Gu Xi’s right hand retracted, the vision was cut off.

However, Gu Xi wasn’t concerned about that; he swiftly commanded, ”Ghost Squad, quickly take position at the target location southeast. I don’t care what method you use, just start digging down.”
