Gu Xi was organizing the troops in Yalidu City, and in the blink of an eye, seven days had passed.

Even if the Yaksha King had a soul, the first seven days have already passed.

During these seven days, Gu Xi finally managed to sort out the troops, except that the Bone-devouring Mud suffered substantial losses and is recovering slower than the others; the rest of the troops have been replenished.

Now under Gu Xi’s command, all soldiers in the Black Spear Camp, Bone-Slaying Camp, and Demon Sacrifice Camp have reached Level 7 or above.

Especially in the Demon Sacrifice Camp, Gu Xi has arranged a batch of newly transformed Corpse Witches into it.

These Corpse Witches are standard ordinary Corpse Witches.

Because they died in a failed Teleportation Gate incident, they have some Void Attributes.

Gu Xi didn’t have a suitable Tomb for them, making them a unique and unreplicable troop.

Gu Xi didn’t have the time to specially design a unit for them, nor did he plan to seal off the traits of these Corpse Witches, so he simply handed them over to Brave Fight for processing.

As for the soldiers under the command of the Undead Boss, they all start at Level 5, and there are even warriors and elites above Level 6 forming the foundation of their forces.

It’s safe to say that this time, all the Undead Bosses have reaped considerable benefits.

They have elevated their troops by a level.

Even so, there are still a large number of Level 5 Undead troops under Gu Xi’s command that have not been absorbed.

As for those Undead troops over Level 10, without a proper organization, they have all been centralized under Gu Xi’s direct command, serving as his personal guard.

Those Undead below Level 5 were all packed off to the Barracks and assigned to various expedition missions.

Of course, these days, the construction progress of the New Yaliduvi District has been quite fast.

The most important core buildings have already been completed.

Now, in the New Yalidu City, there are core buildings such as the Assembly Hall, Tavern, Warehouse, Blacksmith Shop, Barracks, and others.

This has laid the foundation for the New Yalidu City.

However, while it avoids the Undead from having to run back and forth between the old and new Yalidu cities, it has made the peculiar Undead under Gu Xi’s command scarce again.

This is something unavoidable for Gu Xi.

Earlier, he had pulled significant strings at the Mysterious Academy to gather these Undead with special skills.

Now, getting another batch like this seems quite difficult.

Apart from this news, Shaya also sent back some information through the Mysterious Mirror Image Space.

The Soul Gathering Land is currently very chaotic, as if something major has happened, and Shaya advised Gu Xi not to rush back to the Soul Gathering Land but to stay in Yalidu City until she has gathered all the information.

Meanwhile, Shaya has some connections at the market in the Soul Gathering Land and can first help Gu Xi complete tasks and purchase some items he desires.

However, because Gu Xi is not around, directly opening the door might not be feasible, so Shaya decided to send the items from the Soul Gathering Land to Blood Sacrifice Ridge and transfer them from there.

There’s no need to worry about the transfer method; the landmark Gu Xi wants has already been purchased by Shaya in the Soul Gathering Land.

Now, not only are they in the same world, even if Gu Xi left this new pioneering world, the items from Blood Sacrifice Ridge could still be delivered to Yalidu City following the route indicated by the landmark.

At most, it will just take a bit more time.

Other aspects are not affected in any way.

It could be said that this is Gu Xi’s greatest gain since he started pioneering.

As for matters on other fronts, Shaya mentioned it somewhat ambiguously, hinting that both the Soul Gathering Land and even the Yellow Springs Road are in a state of confusion. Shaya, although gifted in intelligence gathering, has only just arrived and cannot connect a lot of lines.

If not for Gu Xi purchasing a large amount of unwanted grey items from Old Coffin’s store, linking that line, Shaya might not have been able to gather even that bit of information.

Additionally, Shaya also sent back a piece of information that piqued Gu Xi’s interest.

Du Shusheng had been invited by a Boss under Gu Xi’s command to the Yellow Springs Road, but he waited for Gu Xi in vain. Eventually, he encountered Di Mi’s forces returning to the Soul Gathering Land for replenishment and joined Di Mi’s ranks as a military advisor.

Gu Xi was a bit surprised by Du Shusheng’s choice.

Wasn’t Di Mi fond of giants of larger stature?

How did Du Shusheng, being such a small figure, end up being picked by Di Mi?

But with Du Shusheng having a place and Di Mi now having a brainy person to accompany him, Gu Xi is somewhat relieved.

It seems Di Mi is doing quite well on the Yellow Springs Road, completing tasks reasonably well.

He’s managed to clean up his act somewhat.

Gu Xi thought that since there was nothing much going on in Yalidu City right now, he might as well leave Di Mi to roam and make strikes on the Yellow Springs Road.

Gu Xi pondered over it and decided to station Di Mi on the Yellow Springs Road for a while.

Let her help build reputation and acquire some specialty items you can only find in the Soul Gathering Land or on the Yellow Springs Road.

Then transfer them through Blood Sacrifice Ridge.

After all, Gu Xi couldn’t have come all this way just to return empty-handed.

Conducting exploration also needs to have an exploration-like appearance.

He can’t simply circle around here and leave; Gu Xi has to leave something behind.

However, as time passes day by day, even after organizing the troops in Yalidu City, Shaya, who had said she’d return after gathering the information, still hasn’t come back.

This makes Gu Xi a bit worried, pondering whether something happened to Shaya.

Gu Xi even considered using Luna’s Mysterious Mirror Image Space to quietly visit the Soul Gathering Land and see how Shaya is doing.

At this moment, Luna, who was handling the construction of the New Yaliduvi District, also rushed back.

”Sir, Shaya might be in trouble.”

”You have this feeling as well?”

Gu Xi’s face turned serious, ”I knew it, mobilize the troops, we’re preparing for a rescue mission.”

”No need for a rescue; Shaya has already escaped back, but she’s severely injured. Isabella is currently treating her, and it might take some time for her recovery.”

”Escaped back?”

Gu Xi breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing that, ”As long as she’s back, as long as she’s safe.”

However, Gu Xi’s expression quickly darkened, ”Do we know who did it? This vengeance must be avenged!”

”It’s unclear for now; Shaya was already unconscious when she returned, and we don’t know if she’s even awake yet.”

”Let’s go have a look.”

Gu Xi left the matters at hand and jumped onto the Evil Coffin to head out of the city.

Luna quickly led the way upfront.

”Shaya is in the Tavern, please follow me, sir.”

Gu Xi merely acknowledged with a sound, and the Evil Coffin turned direction on its own, following Luna to the nearby Tavern.

At this time, Shaya, under Isabella’s care, had recovered significantly.

As Gu Xi entered, Shaya happened to regain consciousness.
