Undead Mage from a Cell

”Yes, the guild has a dedicated mentor responsible for guiding newcomers who have just joined. But your current situation, sir...”

Seeing the skeleton’s troubled expression, Gu Xi chuckled, ”I haven’t been in the guild for more than a year, so I’m a complete newbie too. I’ve never been guided before; it’s the perfect time to learn now.

Could you introduce me to a good mentor?”

As Gu Xi spoke, he slipped a small piece of negative energy into the hands of the two skeletons.

”Go from here, and in the last small building, all the skeletons with brains visible are mentors. Look for the skeleton with a blue brain; his name is Li Xiu.

He was originally a player in our guild, but never participated in any games, just reading and transcribing in the library.

He eventually died in the library, becoming an Undead Tutor.

Though his level is not high, he truly knows a lot.

Previously, he worked as a mentor, mainly to earn some experience to upgrade.

If you want systematic learning, he’s definitely the right choice.”

Hearing this, Gu Xi felt reassured, thanked the two skeletons, and turned to leave the building.

Li Xiu was easy to find, with his blue brain exposed, instantly recognizable.

However, Gu Xi was surprised that although Li Xiu’s strength seemed ordinary, his insight was quite impressive.

He glanced at Gu Xi and asked a bit confusedly,

”Have you mastered the Three Divine Skills?”

This is the first time in the Chaoyang Radiance Guild someone judged Gu Xi’s strength without him needing to introduce himself or show specific skills.

Before Gu Xi could answer, Li Xiu asked again, ”Did you just take on a profession? Is yours a special profession that requires mastering all three divine skills to unlock? Could you tell me the profession’s name?

I need to record it.”

”Death Witch Lord.”

Facing such a character, Gu Xi was somewhat at a loss.

Li Xiu didn’t notice Gu Xi’s expression, nodding, ”Death Witch Lord? Lord of Necromancers?

No wonder it took you so long to find a mentor after joining the guild.

If I encountered such an opportunity, I’d make the same choice.

For an Undead Mage, nothing is more enticing than the Three Divine Skills.

If anything, it’s the special tasks or direct career paths triggered by the Three Divine Skills.

You’re probably at level 7 or 8 now?”

”Level 7.”

”Regarding hidden professions of the Undead Three Divine Skills, I know two. But since you’re already on your own path, I can’t persuade you to change directions.

However, I can teach you the basics of the Undead Mage.

Plus, the guild doesn’t have the special skills related to hidden professions of the Undead Three Divine Skills, but there are some tips regarding them in the guild’s books.

Look for a book titled ’Dialectical Relationship between Virtual Mana and Death Incarnation.’ It’s beneficial for players who have mastered Death Incarnation.

Also in the Radiant Library, there’s an untitled reading note.

I think the number is 119761. This reading note records some tips on the Death Lord’s abilities and how to quickly develop records using them.

Some content is just conjecture, so don’t take it all seriously, but it can be considered a directory. It records how to improve the effectiveness of the Death Lord abilities.

And the various skills corresponding to the Death Lord.

You’ve probably mastered the Leadership Skill. There are some records regarding this as well.

I think this should suit you best.

As for Death City, I remember there are no suitable textbooks in the library.

You must specifically study city construction.

But I guess what you lack now are lots to place various buildings.

If you can’t extensively integrate different land titles, then how to build the most fitting buildings in the least lots is what you need to consider now.

So I recommend a few books here: ’The Commonality of Plots and Buildings,’ ’The Circulation of Earth Veins and the Suppressive Effect of Buildings,’ and ’The Key to Cities, Supporting Buildings.’ You should read these more.

Other than that, regarding the Three Divine Skills, I can’t help you much.

As for situations beyond the Three Divine Skills, you must tell me what skills you have mastered and your levels.

If I don’t know these, I can’t help you.”

Listening to Li Xiu, Gu Xi realized why the two skeletons had directed him to Li Xiu.

This was clearly an intelligent library catalog.

He had actually read all the books in the Radiant Library and remembered them all.

Gu Xi thought seriously for a moment, then quickly relayed his situation.

Not only the levels of various skills but also the enhancement levels provided by equipment.

Listening to Gu Xi, Li Xiu smiled.

”It seems you truly understand. Correct, the levels increased by equipment enhancements must be counted in.

If you don’t calculate the levels increased by equipment, later deductions might make mistakes.

Based on your current situation, your Soul Summoning Skill has already reached level 10, with some enhancements, possibly level 15.

At this level, the summoning effect of the Soul Summoning Skill must be full.

But your Undead Enhancement Level is only level 4, which means you’ve wasted many opportunities.

If your Undead Enhancement Level were at level 7, you could be searching for weak world enemies to farm the Sea of the Dead.

Besides, after maxing out the success rate of the Soul Summoning Skill, the path you should take is probably clear to you: the Undead Transformation Technique.

From the structure of knowledge you mentioned, you’ve understood this and are on that path.

But somehow, after taking half a step, you stopped.

Although I don’t know why,

the Undead Transformation Technique is a must-learn; without learning it, the Resurrection Skill can’t be studied later.

The powerful corpses you obtain will only end up as cannon fodder Undead Soldiers in your hands.

So you have much to catch up on in Undead Research and Corpse Bone Research.

How about this, I’ll give you a list of books. Take three months to calm down and learn what’s in these books.

Besides, I see you’ve studied some different things, Ritual Magic.

Not many people study this, but once mastered, the advantage is stronger than ordinary mages. If you want to strengthen it, then Altar Research and Magic Array Research must be studied.

Of course, you can also choose to learn while fighting, but that will drag the timeline longer; all this is for you to arrange.”
