Undead Mage from a Cell

”Let me take a look.”

Gu Xi was still somewhat interested in the different types of mana Luna mentioned.

Luna quickly took out several mana crystals.

As soon as Gu Xi saw them, although he was unsure about the others, he recognized that the National Destiny Mana was the same thing that Brave Fight had extracted from the Yaksha King earlier.

Only now, it had crystallized into a solid form.

[Mana Crystal (Special): Mana condensed into a crystal through special means. Each crystal is equivalent to 100 mana points. It can be taken orally or integrated into various equipment.]

[Note: Generally, only mana with special attributes can be solidified into crystals, while ordinary mana can just be bottled for use.]

[Void Mana (Green, Special Mana): Due to certain reasons, mana contaminated with Void Power can be used to create teleportation gates or teleportation arrays. It can also be used in space or storage-type equipment.]

[Life Essence Blood (Purple, Special Mana): The life essence blood of a powerful individual, also the core of his mana. In addition, it is mixed with a bit of special national fortune. It can be used to enhance a piece of blue equipment (prioritizing the magic system direction) to purple equipment.]

[Note: This bit of life essence blood was forcibly taken from an enemy, carrying the enemy’s resentment and unwillingness. Therefore, weapons and equipment transformed using this life essence blood have doubled negative effects.]

After accepting the [Life Essence Blood], Gu Xi immediately pushed the Void Mana and National Destiny Mana back to Luna.

”Put these away. You can use half of them to do whatever you want.”

Gu Xi didn’t have any special requirements for this mana. In his view, this mana wasn’t useful to him, as every time Gu Xi summoned Death Incarnation, it drained all his mana directly.

He couldn’t possibly use this mana to serve as summoning mana for the Death Incarnation, could he?

Moreover, using this kind of mana for summoning wouldn’t significantly enhance the Death Incarnation.

So why waste it?

The [Life Essence Blood], however, proved somewhat useful to Gu Xi, allowing him to upgrade a piece of blue armor to purple armor.

Currently, Gu Xi had many demands for purple armor.

The appearance of this bit of [Life Essence Blood] just happened to meet Gu Xi’s requirements.

Because Gu Xi, who was carrying two pieces of orange armor, had many means to negate the negative effects of purple armor.

Now Gu Xi had to consider which piece of his blue armor to upgrade to purple armor.

Should it be the shoulder guard or the Cold Wind Staff?

Meanwhile, Luna continued to report the gains from this battle.

”During the battlefield cleanup, we also obtained 1172 pieces of green-quality weapon equipment, 133 pieces of blue-quality weapon equipment, and two pieces of purple-quality equipment. Should we bring them all up?”

”Two pieces of purple armor? Over a hundred pieces of blue armor?”

Gu Xi was somewhat surprised. When did high-quality equipment become so worthless?

In fact, Gu Xi didn’t understand that this was the norm when exploring a new world.

Such exploration was dangerous indeed, but the benefits were quite significant.

Gu Xi was somewhat unlucky this time, as many of the enemies they defeated were devoured by the void on the way.

They should have carried some equipment with them.

If they had arrived, Gu Xi would have obtained even more equipment.

”Bring all the purple armor up. Are there any blue armors suitable for me?”

Gu Xi asked immediately.

Luna shook her head, ”The incoming enemies were mostly in the direction of physical attacks, with some being remote shooter teams or cavalry units.

The blue equipment mainly consisted of these, and there was no equipment suitable for the magic system, let alone the undead mage route.”

Gu Xi had already anticipated this.

But hearing Luna’s report, Gu Xi couldn’t help but shake his head.

”Distribute them to the subordinate bosses or warriors. If there are any extras, store them for now. Once we return, we’ll find a place to sell them.”

Luna didn’t mind Gu Xi’s arrangement and quickly brought up the two pieces of purple armor.

As soon as Gu Xi saw the two pieces of purple armor, he realized one of them belonged to the Yaksha King.

The other came from another Captain of the Western Garden.

This Captain of the Western Garden was much better than that Wei Qiang. He held out to the end and managed to fight to the death against a Level 15 Skeleton Soldier.

In terms of command and combat power, he could be considered a formidable individual.

Unfortunately, after his death, he truly perished. The skeleton soldier transformed through Double Death was merely a Level 15 Skeleton Soldier, with no intention of becoming a hero.

He didn’t even have the opportunity to transform into a boss.

However, the weapon he left behind caught Gu Xi’s eye.

It was a half-body armor meticulously woven from materials like wood, bone, iron, and leather.

This half-body armor was predominantly vermilion, looking like two barrel boards cleverly jointed together. It had a style reminiscent of Japanese barrel armor but was noticeably different, giving the impression of random pieces slowly merging over time.

Its surface shimmered with a metallic luster, while the chest area was inlaid with a bright silver Heart Protection Mirror.

When not paying attention to the Heart Protection Mirror, it looked fine, but upon closer inspection, it seemed like a miniature landscape, with mountains, rivers, seas, and even a small Flood Dragon twisting in the sky.

The silver flood dragon swam through the mirror, agile and mysterious, as if it could break free at any moment.

[Loosening Armor of the Flood Dragon (Purple, Middle Armor)]

[Defense: 78]

[Equipping grants: Power +3, Agility +3, Constitution +8]

[Equipment Requirements: Power 9, Agility 9, Constitution 9]

[Special 1: Jiao Dragon Armor, by placing materials of various qualities into the Heart Protection Mirror on the chest—lower quality materials will become food for the Mirror Flood Dragon, while higher quality materials will be devoured and fused into the armor, enhancing its quality and attributes (fusion is random, appearance is not a concern).]

[Special Impact 1: After equipping and activating the Jiao Dragon Armor effect once, materials must be offered daily into the mirror. Otherwise, the Mirror Flood Dragon will devour the armor and possibly the wearer as well (it is possible to replace the Mirror Flood Dragon with another creature by certain means).]

[Special 2: Reversed Scale Shield, release the Flood Dragon and touch its reverse scale to form a shield around the wearer, capable of blocking 4000 points of damage from all directions.]

[Special Impact 2: After equipping and activating the Reversed Scale Shield effect once, the wearer will be influenced by the Flood Dragon, beginning to grow reverse scales on their body. Once the scales exceed 20, the wearer will lose their sanity and launch mad attacks on everything around them.]

[Special 3: Loosening Armor of the Flood Dragon, when a fatal blow is imminent, the armor will automatically disassemble, sending the wearer 500 meters away, with the armor automatically blocking the incoming attack.]

[Special Impact 3: After equipping and activating the Loosening Armor of the Flood Dragon effect once, the wearer must use their entire blood to douse the armor to reassemble it. Otherwise, the armor will grow from within the user, eventually turning the user into a new set of armor.]

[Description: Originally cobbled together from ordinary trash materials, it was on the verge of falling apart, but someone retrieved a dragon tendon, tying the armor together, preserving it.]

[Note: The Mirror Flood Dragon is Level 14, the Mirror World is a world for nourishing the Flood Dragon, replacing a creature must involve one of a higher level than the Flood Dragon, while also requiring a corresponding world replacement.]
