Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 662: Chapter 660: National Fortune and Mana

While Captain Wei Qiang of the Western Garden was battling Death Incarnation - Death God, Brave Fight had also completed a Mana Extraction.

The extraction target was the location of the Yaksha King.

This time, none of the mana was extracted from the Yaksha King’s troops.

However, a kind of pale golden mana was extracted from the Yaksha King himself.

This mana did not transform into a rainbow like when extracting from the Teleportation Gate but fell like tiny raindrops onto the altar.

The moment this mana was extracted, Brave Fight immediately sensed something was wrong and promptly informed Gu Xi.

”My lord, there’s something wrong with this mana.”

At this moment, Luna had just arrived and had only exchanged a few words with Gu Xi.

Upon hearing this situation, Gu Xi turned around and glanced behind him.

”My lord, let’s go and take a look.”

”Eldest Princess Anna, you command here.”

Gu Xi flipped over and jumped off the city wall, quickly reaching the altar behind the Yaliduvi Tower by using the Evil Coffin.

”What’s the problem?”

”My lord, look, this mana is unusual.”

Brave Fight quickly moved aside, and at this moment, Gu Xi also saw the pale golden mana gathered together.

This mana was about to solidify into crystals, and at the same time, Gu Xi could feel a majestic aura emanating from it.

[National Destiny Mana (Blue, Special Mana): By using identity and mana, it mobilizes national fortune, assimilating with mana to create a special energy capable of enhancing various things, spell casting, alchemy, and equipment making.]

[Note: National Destiny Mana has the property of enhancing quality in certain aspects.]

Looking at the description before him, Gu Xi couldn’t help but say,

”Who exactly am I fighting against now?”

Despite saying this, Gu Xi showed no intention of retreating.

He grabbed a handful of this [National Destiny Mana], feeling its traits, and then decisively instructed Brave Fight, ”Extract, keep extracting until he’s dead!”

Hearing Gu Xi’s order, Brave Fight, although unsure of what Gu Xi was thinking, immediately took action.

Even the Skeleton Mages stationed at the three Slowdown Skill altars were called back to participate in the mana extraction magic ceremony.

Gu Xi didn’t linger here; he quickly returned to the city walls of Yaliduvi Tower.

”How’s the situation over there?”

As Gu Xi ran up the city wall, he asked Eldest Princess Anna.

”I don’t know what to say, my lord; see for yourself.”

Eldest Princess Anna made way for him.

At this moment, Gu Xi looked towards the Yaksha King from afar; because part of the National Destiny Mana was extracted, he lost most of his mana.

This caused a natural reaction in his body, with a red flood dragon struggling to tear away from inside the Yaksha King, like pulling clay off someone’s skin.

However, the situation with this flood dragon seemed different; it was entangled with a black iron chain, the other end of which was wrapped around the Yaksha King’s heart.

The mana extraction also made the Yaksha King realize there was a problem; he tightly grasped the iron chain from his heart, preventing the flood dragon from leaving his body, while loudly commanding, ”Everyone, pick up your weapons and prepare to charge with me.”

The Yaksha King’s only chance to go back was to reclaim his body, kill Gu Xi, and leave Yaliduvi Tower safely.

Otherwise, he had no way to escape.

The Yaksha King, with no retreat, was ready to take the stage himself and fight desperately.

Upon hearing the Yaksha King’s command, the soldiers raised their weapons and charged with shouts.

At this moment, Wei Qiang and Death Incarnation - Death God happened to be slain by Shaya.

If he had delayed a bit longer, the situation might not have turned out this way.

Seeing the enemy willingly rushing forward, Gu Xi decisively commanded, ”Ghost Dragon, Bone Dragon, attack that guy; don’t let him put that dragon back into his body.”

Not knowing what the Yaksha King was up to, Gu Xi’s orders were guided by the principle: whatever the enemy wants to do, we must stop it.

Under Gu Xi’s orders, Death Incarnation - Bone Dragon and Ghost Dragon simultaneously took flight.

A swarm of Black Dragons also tried to dart out but was stopped by Gu Xi.

”You attack those soldiers down there, kill them all.”

The Black Dragons turned, adjusted their course, and swooped towards the soldiers below.

Meanwhile, Gu Xi turned, ”Eldest Princess Anna, adjust Yaliduvi Tower, switch to a different era.”

Eldest Princess Anna understood Gu Xi’s intention right away; he planned to deploy troops.

Seeing Gu Xi’s serious demeanor, Eldest Princess Anna did not object and decisively acted.

Under Eldest Princess Anna’s operation, a raven flew up from the guillotine as another raven landed on it.

The Yaksha King, entangled with the flood dragon, seemed to have sensed something; he looked towards Yaliduvi Tower but found no apparent change.

At that moment, the gates of Yaliduvi Tower opened, and a large number of troops poured out.

These troops primarily consisted of zombies with levels ranging from 6 to 8.

Holding various weapons, they staggered towards the battlefield.

All these zombies were Undead Corps transformed by Yaksha in the Earth Demon Cave.

Apart from those taken by Gu Xi’s heroes to supplement their forces, all others were present here.

This time, Gu Xi generously used them as cannon fodder.

After releasing them, Gu Xi didn’t give any further orders, only directed them to charge towards the enemy’s troops.

As the zombies rushed out, the Yaksha King noticed the open city gate and finally realized what was wrong.

His body was missing.

Earlier, when he arrived, he clearly saw the body placed right in the center of Yaliduvi Tower’s open area.

But where did this huge body disappear to?

The sight of this situation made the Yaksha King grip the red flood dragon harder, causing a wound to appear on its body.

The Yaksha King then ignored the flood dragon, realizing his body was gone meant his doom.

So, the Yaksha King strode forward, charging towards Yaliduvi Tower at an inhuman speed.

Death Incarnation - Bone Dragon and Ghost Dragon arrived just in time, with the Ghost Dragon immediately attacking the flood dragon being dragged by the chain like a kite.

Meanwhile, Death Incarnation - Bone Dragon instantly spewed a Death Dragon Breath towards the Yaksha King.
