Gu Xi, upon leveling up this time, thought that after reaching level 7, the Death Incarnation would be 8 levels higher than his own level, meaning his Death Incarnation could reach level 15, just right for meeting the standard to deal with the Yaksha King’s Undying.

But he wouldn’t rush and forgo skill selection due to limited time.

Gu Xi carefully examined the skills before him, noticing that Spirit Gathering Skill appeared once more.

The current situation was just right for its use.

Death Luck seemed interesting; it’s a choice for gamblers, and I like it.

As for the others, Death Giant Wave? It’s to enhance the attack effect of Death Ripple.

While useful, the attack range cannot be increased, so forget it for now.

Ghost Wall? It’s actually a spell mixed with force field and spirit, suitable for preventing enemies from coming closer, but do I need to stop enemies from approaching?

Gu Xi looked up, gazing at the distant battlefield, the nearest enemy was five to six hundred meters away.

Currently, I fear my spells can’t reach the enemy; why would I worry about them coming too close?

Magic Flying Bone, huh?

Gu Xi doesn’t really use Bone Spike or Magic Divine Arrow now, so why would he need another similar spell?

Thus, Gu Xi decisively made his choice.

”Choose Death Luck and Spirit Gathering Skill!”

After making the decision, Gu Xi immediately pointed towards the battlefield.

”Death Incarnation!”

The freshly replenished mana was instantly drained as two Death Incarnations flew out.

Although no new skills were added at level 15, Gu Xi could clearly see that the two Death Incarnations had noticeably grown bigger.

It was evident that one of their attributes had been enhanced.

Death Incarnation - Bone Dragon did not show any visible changes yet, but Death Incarnation - Death God did, with its bones evidently having been enhanced significantly.

This clearly reinforced their power attribute.

Death Incarnation - Bone Dragon quickly flew to the Yaksha King’s front carrying Death God.

As soon as Death Incarnation - Death God landed, it directly took a slash at the Yaksha King.

Death Reaping!

Death Incarnation - Death God swiftly moved and struck the Yaksha King back.

Meanwhile, Death Incarnation - Bone Dragon flew into the air again, aiming a blast at the Yaksha King’s position.

With that blast, Gu Xi realized that Death Incarnation - Bone Dragon had enhanced its Intelligence attribute, as the effect of Death Dragon Breath had notably strengthened.

It was clear that Death Incarnation - Bone Dragon was displeased with not having killed the Yaksha King with its Death Dragon Breath.

Now, Gu Xi had no time to worry about these things; after drinking a magic potion, he took a step forward, pointing the Cold Wind Staff at the battlefield.

”Spirit Gathering Skill!”

Under this spell, a level 15 Skeleton Soldier who had just perished alongside the enemy’s level 15 Military General rolled over and rose from the ground, reached around, found its longsword, and then headed toward the Yaksha King.

Since the number of Undead revived by Spirit Gathering Skill is proportional to Gu Xi’s Intelligence, this resurrection also brought forty Zombies who had fallen here back to life.

They hadn’t received orders from Gu Xi, so they didn’t leave with the Skeleton Soldier and instead cleared out the last of the enemies in this part of the battlefield.

Seeing such a good effect from the Spirit Gathering Skill, Gu Xi immediately sprang into action.

This time, Gu Xi targeted the Bone-Devouring Swamp and also focused on the level 10 and above Undead who had previously died under the Yaksha King’s hands.

Under the influence of Spirit Gathering Skill, the Bone-Devouring Swamp, Bone Titan, Ghost Dragon, and Bone Armor Centipede all crawled up from the ground.

They immediately attacked the Yaksha King.

Facing enemies from all directions, Yaksha King’s face darkened.

”Will you never stop?”

But regardless of how much the Yaksha King shouted, it was useless; all three of his iron chains were firmly held by Death Incarnation - Death God, Zombies, and Ghosts, keeping him immobile.

The just-arrived Skeleton Soldier distracted the Yaksha King upfront, enabling the Corpse Mother to attack the Yaksha King from behind.

Meanwhile, Death Incarnation - Bone Dragon circled overhead, continuously casting curses on the Yaksha King, keeping him busy.

With about seven or eight of them attacking the Yaksha King, finally, his life decreased significantly.

Among them, the main force was naturally the Corpse Mother; although she hadn’t received enhancement from enough Corpse Children, her level made her attacks most effective against the Night King.

At this point, the Yaksha King realized he couldn’t continue like this; if it went on, he’d be worn down to death.

He reached a hand to his neck, and the last iron chain fell into his hand.

Then the red line on the Yaksha King’s neck became increasingly clear, and with a flash of red light, the Yaksha King’s head flew up.

Simultaneously, the headless Yaksha King’s body went berserk, ceaselessly attacking everything around it.

The additional iron chain also unleashed a mighty strike, smashing the encroaching Bone Titan into fragments.

Seeing this, the Skeleton Soldier could only move up and hold down the extra iron chain.

Meanwhile, Death Incarnation - Bone Dragon went in pursuit of the flying head.

It was clear that the Yaksha King intended to abandon his body and let his head escape.

Yet without his body, the Yaksha King’s movements were faster, and his head soared straight up, almost out of Gu Xi’s sight.

At this moment, a beam of mirrored light flashed past in the direction of the Yaksha King’s head.

In the light, the Yaksha King’s head fell back to the ground.

Luna had returned at this crucial moment.
