”How do I enter the Yellow Springs Road, just go down from this pool?”

Gu Xi did not agree to Li Liangquan’s request but instead walked to the edge of the pond and looked down.

At this moment, the pool’s water was all dark green. Looking down from above, it slowly turned into a passage below.

”Yes, you can go in from here. After going down, it’s the Yellow Springs Road. Once you enter, as long as you don’t turn back, you can go wherever you like.

On the Yellow Springs Road, there are no roads, everywhere is a road.”

After glancing at the pond again, Gu Xi raised his head, turning to look at those Ghost Village residents who had not submitted to him.

”Before anything happens here, can they just stay here?”

Li Liangquan understood Gu Xi’s question immediately.

”Of course not. Although the Ghost Village gathers ghosts to form a village, it’s just borrowing the geographical advantage to let ghost souls stay here.

When the ghost souls’ lifespan in the underworld ends, they will enter the Yellow Springs Road on their own, pass through the Ghost Gate, and enter the underworld.

Sir, the ghost souls in this village have been lingering in the mortal world for hundreds of years.”

Listening to Li Liangquan’s words, Gu Xi turned to look at the Ghost Village residents behind him.

The meaning in Gu Xi’s words was understood by all of them.

Now Gu Xi was contemplating their fate. Clearly, Gu Xi did not want an uncontrolled force appearing in his territory.

Even if this force maintained a friendly attitude towards Gu Xi.

Among the Ghost Village residents, three of the most noticeable ones exchanged glances. The old man generously bowed to Gu Xi.

Then he led his tribe and voluntarily stepped into the pond, entering the Yellow Springs Road.

This group of ghost souls was very aware that they had indeed stayed in the mortal world for too long.

So long that their underworld lifespan could no longer support it. Staying here served no purpose, better to head to the underworld and embark on their final journey.

After the old man left, the flamboyant young man who greatly valued his appearance walked up to Gu Xi.

”Sir, I am grateful that you destroyed that big tree and released us, but I will not submit to you. Of course, I understand your thoughts. I wasn’t supposed to be here, I will return to where I should be.

This favor of yours, I have noted. If there’s anything you need, you can find me at Dongrushan Wanhua Cave; this is the token.”

Saying this, the flamboyant young man handed an item to Gu Xi.

[You obtained the Sword Order of Dongrushan Wanhua Cave (Blue).]

[Sword Order of Dongrushan Wanhua Cave (Blue): Can be exchanged for one-time help from Wanhua Cave, at least five Level 10 strong individuals can be borrowed from the cave.]

”Borrow troops?”

”Yes, our Wanhua Cave is the most famous Sword Sect, you can borrow all kinds of Sword Immortals from us.”

The flamboyant young man nodded confidently.

”I died here by accident during training, but if I can return, I still have a chance, so rest assured, this is definitely useful.”

After saying that, the flamboyant young man indeed left with his followers.

Finally, there was only the woman who had changed who knows how many layers of skin left.

She looked up at Gu Xi, a determined glint in her almond eyes.

”My surname is Su, Su Family Village was built with my surname. I have been guarding here since this Ghost Village was established, sending ghost souls to the Yellow Springs, and leaving those ghosts who didn’t want to go to the underworld here to complete their underworld life.

I do not want to go to the Yellow Springs. I know that too much time has passed, and if we do not go soon, we cannot survive here anymore.

But I still do not want to go to the Yellow Springs or the underworld, please, when we dissipate, give us a suitable burial place.”

This woman spoke as she looked at the village’s stage.

She then said to Gu Xi, ”Sir, there is nothing wrong with this village, please do not destroy it.”

After speaking, a kind of black sand floated out from the woman’s eyes. The black sand did not float far in the air; it just turned and fell to the ground.

At the same time, all the ghost souls who followed this woman also turned into this kind of black sand.

This situation left Gu Xi quite surprised.

He was very clear about what this black sand was. It was the ghost crystal sand left behind after ghosts willingly gave up their life.

To some people, this might be akin to ashes.

But for some Undead Mages, this is the best magic material.

This is why the woman would hope Gu Xi could find her a suitable burial place.

She also understood what she would become if she gave up everything.

If it wasn’t agreed upon in advance, this ghost crystal sand might turn into magic that Gu Xi would cast away.

After all, the woman had previously witnessed some of Gu Xi’s Chain Corpse Burst.

As Gu Xi was hesitating whether to do as the woman said and bury the ghost crystal sand, he suddenly discovered that as her body fully dissolved, she left behind a complete human skin.

It seems this person knew gratitude.

Gu Xi shook his head and finally stepped forward to pick up the human skin.

[You obtained Blood-Painted Skin (Blue).]

[Blood-Painted Skin (Blue): A human skin that has been repaired and strengthened many times. Wearing it can shield one’s ghost qi.]

Holding this skin, Gu Xi was somewhat speechless. If it were a male’s skin, Gu Xi might be able to use it, but a woman’s skin is likely useless for him.

However, the White Bone Wine Lady at the tavern had always said she wanted to get a new skin but never did.

He wondered what she thought about every day. This skin could be delivered to her, hoping it would bring some changes to the tavern.

While shaking out the Blood-Painted Skin, as Gu Xi was about to roll it up,

he discovered a Land Title fell from the Blood-Painted Skin.

Gu Xi picked up the Land Title and found it was actually for the Su Family Village in front of him.

[Su Family Village, covering 109 mu, Population: None, Not to be occupied. Has 2 large buildings (Inn, Stage), 4 medium-sized buildings (Farm, Leather Shop, Butcher, Weapon Shop), 4 small buildings (Water Shop, Stall, Rice Store, Medicine Shop). Special Buildings: 2 (Destroyed Society Tree, Entrance to the Underworld).]

[Note 1: This is a village that cannot be occupied or taken away. The holder of the Land Title can decide when the village is open but cannot influence its development.]

[Note 2: Undead residing in the village can receive corresponding resources and blessings from the village.]

Looking at this Land Title, Gu Xi furrowed his brows. This kind of Land Title that cannot be occupied seems odd.

The implication here is that the village cannot be occupied or destroyed.

It can only serve as a rest stop for undead seeking passage to the Yellow Springs.

Holding the Land Title can at most deny entry to other undead but cannot take away benefits from here.

With this Land Title, Gu Xi was momentarily in a dilemma.
