Looking at the information of these Ghost Soldiers in front of him, Gu Xi roughly understood what the previous Ghost Soldiers meant by saying they were about to dissipate.

If Gu Xi hadn’t arrived, these Ghost Soldiers probably wouldn’t have lasted much longer.

However, Gu Xi was still puzzled about one thing: what did their combat experience refer to, was it the Level they had in life?

Unable to figure it out, Gu Xi walked up to a weakened Ghost Soldier holding a warhorse.

”How should I help you?”

The Ghost Soldier raised his head and glanced at Gu Xi, ”Erase our original identities and change our profession, then we can still fight.”

Hearing this, Gu Xi was silent for a moment, ”I understand your situation now, you are all considered to be in a Ghost status, right?”

All the Ghost Queens nodded, indeed their condition was in a Ghost status.

”Coincidentally, my city has built a Ghost Tower, which is used to replenish power for ghosts. You all go there first and recharge some power.

Afterwards, stay in my city.

I have an idea for you cavalry.

I have an Architectural Design Plan for the Azure Temple, and I’m currently working on breaking through the construction rules.

This fits perfectly with your situation.

The Cyan Knights trained in the Azure Temple are ghost cavalry clad in heavy armor. You already have the ghost cavalry, so I’m sure we can dig out the heavy armor.

Once the Azure Temple is built, you can all transfer and become Cyan Knights.

Believe me, all your combat experience can be fully utilized by then.”

Gu Xi then turned to look at the weaker infantry and support troops.

If the cavalry could soon have a suitable Training Camp, then Gu Xi was at a loss with the infantry and support troops before him.

The best path for them, naturally, would be becoming Black Guards, and if that wasn’t possible, they could be transformed into Undead Corps from other infantry.

But the problem was that Gu Xi’s Ghost Corps route was already fixed.

Turning them all into ghosts would be somewhat wasteful, and there were no other suitable paths for them.

Facing them, Gu Xi could only say, ”As for you, I can’t guarantee finding a suitable transformation path later, but I can assure you, the Ghost Tower can provide you with the energy you need.

It can keep you from dissipating further, so stay in my city for now, and we’ll see when I find a suitable approach.”

The Ghost Soldiers had no objections to Gu Xi’s arrangements. They were about to dissipate anyway, so staying anywhere wouldn’t make a difference.

Moreover, Gu Xi gave them hope. At least the Ghost Tower could recharge them, ensuring they wouldn’t dissipate so quickly and could wait for the opportunity Gu Xi spoke of.

So these Ghost Soldiers quickly entered the Steel City Gate and returned to Yalidu City.

As they left, Gu Xi transferred a batch of troops from Yalidu City.

”Wang Li Zheng, now is the time to make your last contribution. The soil on the ground has been dug up, I hope you can find and organize all the armor buried underground for me.

If you can’t do that, then stay honest as a Chong Ghost.”

Wang Li Zheng already knew that he had lost disastrously in the competition with Wu Liu and Du Yuan.

Although he didn’t understand why Gu Xi would still give him a chance, he knew he couldn’t miss it.

So he decisively stepped forward and said, ”Rest assured, my lord, I will handle everything here, ensuring all the armor is found.”

Gu Xi thought for a moment and then added, ”Just find the armor and weapons, and organize the corpses for burial.”

Hearing this, Wang Li Zheng was incredulous.

He had already realized that Gu Xi was someone who wielded Undead Power.

The corpses were very important materials for Gu Xi.

He thought Gu Xi wanted him to handle this task so they could take all the corpses away.

But now, with just this sentence, Gu Xi seemed to be abandoning those corpses.

Nonetheless, Wang Li Zheng’s mind worked quickly.

He immediately understood that it wasn’t about what he wanted to do, but what Gu Xi said.

If Gu Xi was willing to rebury the corpses, he would let those who died a thousand years ago finally have peace.

So Wang Li Zheng promptly agreed.

”Rest assured, my lord, I will take care of everything. My lord, do you think, after burying, should we erect a monument for them?”

”No need, it’s unnecessary, just bury them.”

Gu Xi shook his head, leaving many ordinary Skeletons here to assist Wang Li Zheng in excavating the valley.

He also left Bone-Slaying Camp troops here to guard the area.

Once everything was arranged, Gu Xi called Wu Liu to accompany him towards the Mountain God Temple.

Wu Liu understood what Gu Xi intended; he was arranging matters concerning the Mountain God.

If it weren’t for the appearance of the Ghost Soldiers, he might already have become the Mountain God.

For the position of Mountain God, Wu Liu quickly followed behind Gu Xi.

Floating along, he conversed with Gu Xi about the future direction of the Mountain God Temple.

The main function of the Mountain God Temple was no longer needed.

The Yin Soldiers in the valley had been released by Gu Xi, and the valley no longer required the suppression of the Mountain God.

So what could the Mountain God do in the future?

He couldn’t merely call himself the Mountain God in the temple and play by himself there.

Thus, Wu Liu needed to clarify this; at the very least, he needed to know what Gu Xi intended to do by keeping him around.

Gu Xi had to inquire about these matters as well.

While heading towards the Mountain God Temple, Gu Xi asked directly.

”Wu Liu, what do you think Mountain Gods can do?”

Wu Liu’s heart skipped a beat, and he quickly replied, ”My lord, I’ve heard the Old Mountain God say that as a Mountain God, it’s possible to gather Earth Qi and collect mountain resources.”
