Undead Mage from a Cell

In the following days, Gu Xi stayed in Yalidu City for about three days, assisting Luna with numerous tasks.

He also personally reinforced the city’s troops.

However, the most significant event for Gu Xi during these three days was meeting the fairy tale character that appeared in the Library.

Gu Xi was utterly surprised; this time, it was the Thorn Golden Crown, no, the Sleeping Beauty Princess.

When she saw Gu Xi, she even gave him a smile.

”What a coincidence.” Gu Xi smiled awkwardly at the Sleeping Beauty Princess.

”It’s not a coincidence. I came here specifically to find you.”

”Find me?” Gu Xi was a bit puzzled, wondering why she would look for him.

This girl isn’t an Undead.

”Yes, as you know, the original location of my castle was leveled to the ground. Although I previously borrowed magic from you to relocate my castle, I can’t ensure when the Evil God might return.

So, I want to leave a mark here with you.”

Gu Xi scratched his clothes and stepped back a bit, his expression turning peculiar.

At this moment, the Sleeping Beauty Princess understood Gu Xi’s reaction, and her face turned red.

”No, I didn’t mean that. I meant my Sleeping Beauty Castle, I’d like to leave the projection of a castle here with you, as a favor.”

The Sleeping Beauty Princess clung to Gu Xi’s sleeve, shaking it incessantly as she spoke.

”It’s not that I don’t want to help you, but you might not understand the situation here. In my territory, everything is influenced and slowly becomes of the Undead Attribute.”

Gu Xi felt a bit helpless about the Sleeping Beauty Princess’s request.

Originally, it was just a matter of adding another castle, carving out a piece of land.

Yet, some things just aren’t as simple as that.

If someday the Sleeping Beauty Princess needs her castle and finds it turned into a graveyard, it’s going to be hard to explain.

Gu Xi had witnessed the Sleeping Beauty Princess’s power.

He couldn’t resist it alone.

”Oh, that, I’m not worried about. Do you remember the experience of entering my castle?”

With her question, Gu Xi finally realized. For a castle that requires activating the Death Three Divine Skills to enter, calling it the castle of the living seems far-fetched.

But regardless of the current Sleeping Beauty Princess or everything he saw inside the castle, Gu Xi believed they were all alive.

At least they were weakly alive, in such a state that Gu Xi didn’t dare to cast Death Ripple nearby.

One wave would kill everyone in the castle.

”Alright then, I’ve given you my advice. If you think there’s no problem, I’ll allocate you a place.”

”Thank you, as a return...”

The Sleeping Beauty Princess stood up and thanked Gu Xi.

”No, I don’t...”

Gu Xi quickly declined, fully aware of the Sleeping Beauty Princess’s power.

”When you can deploy castles and fortresses onto the battlefield, you can project my Sleeping Beauty Castle there.”

Ah?

Just that?

Noticing Gu Xi’s reaction, the Sleeping Beauty Princess seemed to understand something.

She tugged at Gu Xi’s sleeve, ”What, can’t you?”

”I can, I can!” Gu Xi responded hastily, ”But how do you plan to project it, Luna, could you come here and see where we can place a castle?”

Watching Gu Xi’s awkward expression, the Sleeping Beauty Princess couldn’t help but laugh.

The happier she laughed, the more Gu Xi dared not look her way, as the last time she laughed so heartily, Gu Xi almost fainted.

Soon, Luna floated in from outside. After hearing about the Sleeping Beauty Princess’s situation, Luna didn’t immediately allocate a piece of land but instead asked in detail about the Sleeping Beauty Castle.

She inquired about the castle’s size and who would own the castle.

The most important point was whether only the castle would be projected or if the town beneath the castle would also be included.

This was crucial.

Initially, Victoria City was merely a town near Victoria Tower, gradually developing into what it became.

If the Sleeping Beauty Castle was just the castle’s projection, it wouldn’t be an issue.

At most, it would be like another Yaliduvi Tower, projected during battles.

But having surrounding towns would be different, equating to the creation of a new Satellite City, requiring consideration of many factors.

City development, safety, and so forth, all had to be contemplated.

The Sleeping Beauty Princess awkwardly smiled at Luna’s inquiries.

”With towns. I don’t care where my castle is, but my case is a bit unusual, with relatively more followers. Even if I just project the castle, it quickly gathers enough followers to form a town.”

The Sleeping Beauty Princess explained her circumstances.

Gu Xi and Luna exchanged a glance, already having made a decision.

Yet Gu Xi still said one last thing.

”If I leave your castle’s projection in my territory, who will the ownership ultimately go to?”

”Yours. I only want to leave a mark. The castle isn’t of real importance to me. What matters is having someone remember my castle; everything else belongs to you.”

Having heard this, Gu Xi exchanged another glance with Luna and ultimately made a decision.

Thus, the Sleeping Beauty Castle appeared approximately one hundred fifty miles outside the main city of Yalidu City.

This location was in the direction going out from Di Mi’s Giant Garden. To open a road to this position, Gu Xi and Luna, over several days, constructed a fourth city gate at the Giant Graveyard District.

A horizontally operable gate was set here.

This served as the road’s starting point, with a Carriage Station arranged here.

Daily at 6 AM and 12 PM, a dedicated carriage travels between Yalidu City and the Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Of course, if one doesn’t want to take the carriage, Gu Xi’s Evil Coffin takes about an hour to make the round trip, much faster than waiting for the carriage.

The Carriage Station is primarily used for transporting various supplies.

Naturally, the Sleeping Beauty Castle doesn’t need Gu Xi to personally build it; it stays in a custodial mode.

Upon leaving, the Sleeping Beauty Princess only enchanted a pea seed inside the Library.

Once planted, the Thorn Forest automatically formed. When the Thorn Forest occupied a large enough area, Gu Xi could see the tip of the castle tower jutting above the forest from the outside.

Thus, the Sleeping Beauty Castle was directly projected here.

As for the villages and towns around the castle, they lay outside the Thorn Forest, at the spot where the Carriage Station stopped.
