Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 553: Chapter 551: The Even Stranger Third Trial

After packing everything up, Gu Xi didn’t rush forward. Instead, he rested on the spot to replenish his troops.

In the previous battle, although the Battlefield Ghost had joined, part of the troops still suffered heavy losses because they failed to scout the enemy’s situation in time.

Especially the Black Spear Camp, which almost got wiped out due to the extremely strong defense of the Evil Mutated Muscle Beast.

And many ordinary Skeleton Soldiers also perished previously. If Gu Xi hadn’t brought in the Ghost Corps later, the Skeleton Soldiers and Zombies he brought might have been wiped out.

Now, Gu Xi needed to replenish his forces and adjust the troop ratios.

It’s still uncertain how many more enemies they will face up ahead.

During this time, Gu Xi also restored some mana, and he encountered a new Electric Zombie resurrected in Yalidov City through talent.

Unlike the hero Liu Sheng, whom Gu Xi summoned.

This Electric Zombie didn’t become a hero but transformed into an elite, which is an upgrade for a warrior.

It’s fair to say that the final Evil Mutated Muscle Beast brought significant benefits to Gu Xi.

At least the previous two did not offer so many benefits.

After resting on the spot for three hours, Gu Xi received news from the rear.

They have emptied all the candy from the first battlefield.

The undead responsible for transportation at the rear are now rushing over here.

Placing the book down, Gu Xi downed the drink in his hand in one gulp before standing up.

”Liu Sheng, take the Battlefield Ghosts and follow. Electric Zombies, Corpse Witch, Skeleton Shooters, and Skeleton Mages, follow along. The other troops stay to clear the battlefield here.”

Under Gu Xi’s command, the undead corps quickly regrouped, eventually forming a five-thousand-strong undead unit to follow Gu Xi.

A new member called Demon Helmet, a level 13 Electric Zombie, was now part of Gu Xi’s group. Even without using the Death Incarnation, Gu Xi now had level 13 entities under his command.

As for that Evil Energy Long Spear, Gu Xi handed it to Arroyo.

Although Arroyo could also use a war axe, this Evil Energy Long Spear was obviously better for him, which was a compensation from Gu Xi to Arroyo.

After all, Arroyo’s Black Spear Camp suffered significant losses this time, and in the coming period, Arroyo is likely to focus on rebuilding Black Spear Camp.

In the upcoming battles, he probably wouldn’t be able to participate.

After preparing the troops, Gu Xi put away the main city gate and led the troops towards the large gate at the back of the hall.

As the gate opened, Gu Xi was stunned by the scene in front of him.

At first, Gu Xi thought there would be a large number of enemies eating here.

After all, the first two phases were like this.

But here, although there were those affected by the evil aura, they weren’t eating. They were cooking various foods.

What shocked Gu Xi was that in this giant space, there was a 150-meter-high giant egg, rice taller than a normal person, and a piece of bacon over a kilometer long.

There were also cabbage shreds over 600 meters long, potato shreds over 500 meters long, and so on.

It could be seen that the food placed here was magnified many times over, and one small piece could be enough to feed Gu Xi for decades.

When they saw Gu Xi bring his troops in, all the chefs who were cooking stopped their actions.

They stared at Gu Xi with glowing eyes.

It could be seen that as soon as Gu Xi moved, they would rush over to chop him up and turn him into various dishes.

”What are you doing?”

At this moment, a voice rang out, ”How dare you stop halfway through cooking? Do you know that once you stop, this dish is ruined, toss it out, throw it all out, and start over. Clean the pot and hurry it up.”

The voice was so loud that even Gu Xi, standing at the door, could hear it. He looked towards the source of the voice and saw a six-meter-tall Puppet Chef pacing back and forth.

On the chef’s hair perched a normal-sized rat.

It was gripping the chef’s hair, controlling the chef’s movement.

Clearly, this rat was the boss of the current level, but Gu Xi was uncertain about the situation in this level.

Why did it look like a rat version of the New Oriental Cooking School?

Should he call back the chefs who just left to inquire if this level requires culinary battles to pass?

Before figuring out the situation, the Puppet Chef pacing between the stoves turned to face Gu Xi.

The rat perched in the hair also saw Gu Xi.

”Ah, a group of rats, how dare you run here, get up there and kill them.”

Gu Xi was rendered speechless at this.

”You’re the rat yourself, okay.”

But as soon as the rat cried out, all the chefs excitedly dropped their cooking utensils, pulled out kitchen knives, and charged at Gu Xi.

These chefs were different from the outside mutated eaters; they were the size of normal people. When they ran, Gu Xi observed that their power level was about level 7.

Compared to the soldiers of the previous two levels, their power was obviously much weaker.

But Gu Xi would never be careless. Watching the enemies rush over, Gu Xi immediately ordered, ”Electric Zombies, front defense; Skeleton Shooters and Skeleton Mages, prepare to probe.”

Under Gu Xi’s command, the Skeleton Shooters and Skeleton Mages quickly got ready, drawing bows and arrows and raising staves, just waiting for the enemy to get a little closer.

Meanwhile, standing on the Evil Coffin, Gu Xi also raised the Cold Wind Staff, targeting the closest 150-meter-high giant egg.

Gu Xi wanted to test whether the egg was dead or alive, and if it could be used for Corpse Burst.

Just as Gu Xi was about to make a move, someone in his troops shouted.

”Shoot!”

As all the Skeleton Shooters released, their metal-arrowhead bone arrows flew out, pinning the fastest batch of chefs to the ground.

[Skeleton Shooter (Summoned Creature) kills Evil Chef (Level 7), you gain 1 point of experience, combat squad gains 1 point of experience, summoned creatures gain 19 points of experience.]

[Skeleton Shooter (Summoned Creature) kills Evil Chef (Level 6), you gain 1 point of experience, combat squad gains 1 point of experience, summoned creatures gain 11 points of experience.]

[...]

Wait, how did they die so quickly?

Seeing the continuous flow of information in front of him, Gu Xi looked on in disbelief. Are the enemies in the final level really this weak?

How did they get killed in a blink of an eye?
