When the Sleeping Beauty Castle projection landed, Gu Xi and Luna visited here specifically to evaluate this deal.

In their eyes, agreeing to the Sleeping Beauty Princess’s request this time was worthwhile.

What they paid was merely leaving a mark belonging to the Sleeping Beauty Princess within the territory.

In return, they gained a powerful castle and a self-operating satellite city.

The range of the Sleeping Beauty Castle included, aside from the tall castle, the outside Thorn Forest.

The area covered was vast.

Although the Thorn Forest just started, its area already exceeded a thousand acres, which is more than 60,000 square meters.

The forest was full of various sizes of thorns; without the castle’s owner personally present, no one could pass through the forest.

As part of the castle, when Gu Xi could deploy the castle onto the battlefield, he could also deploy the forest with it.

This situation was equivalent to Gu Xi dragging the battlefield to his home court.

It could be said that just this point was enough for Gu Xi to make his decision.

Not to mention the Thorn Forest was continuously expanding and would soon become a barrier in the direction of Yalidu City.

As for the towns on the outskirts of the forest, they were also trust-managed towns.

Gu Xi did not need to consider anything for this town, no need to think about how many plots it had, whether there were suitable architectural design plans, or the source of the town’s population.

Gu Xi only needed to set the development direction.

After discussing with Luna, Gu Xi finally decided that this undeveloped town would serve as the first resource town under Yalidu City.

After all, with its back against the Thorn Forest, cutting some wood randomly from there would suffice for Yalidu City’s consumption.

At the same time, Gu Xi and Luna discovered a situation.

The Thorn Forest blocked the influence of the Blood Maple Tree, allowing some of Gu Xi’s non-undead subordinates to stop transforming towards the undead direction in the forest.

This provided Gu Xi a glimpse of a source of hope.

He quickly sent the Minotaur, Pegasus Cavalry, and Cyclops he previously acquired at the Fire Pit to this side.

Although their numbers were not many, there were times when they were quite useful.

At least the Thorn Forest left some different seeds for Gu Xi’s troops.

Apart from this Sleeping Beauty Castle affair, Gu Xi spent most of his time in the past three days focusing on several newly built core buildings.

The Ice Magic Tower, Extreme Cold Storage, and Ice and Snow Armory were Gu Xi’s key focuses during this period.

The reason for such a delay was due to the choice of location for the new Magic Tower.

Plus various additional constructions.

Gu Xi and Luna put in a lot of effort to squeeze out a location in the Upper City District to build the Ice Magic Tower.

As for others, like the Library, it just couldn’t fit in, so they just had to leave it at that.

Of course, after the Ice Magic Tower was built, it was also affected by various linked buildings.

The linkage effect of the White Bone Magic Tower: Magic Amount +1, Fairy Tale Library linkage effect: Magic Amount +1, School Library linkage effect: Magic Amount +1.

With this series of effect boosts, the Ice Magic Tower’s first floor spell research count increased from the original 4 to 7.

The most crucial player learning skill is: [Destructive Magic: Allows players to learn advanced destructive magic and enhance magic effects.]

And included the extended skill: [Master of Ice].

Players and heroes can learn three spells.

[Blade of Frost: Consumes 30 points of Mana to imbue a specific weapon with cold attribute effects (no more than a thousand weapons). Once enchanted, the weapon gains +3 Cold Attack effect, lasting for 24 hours.]

[Ring of Harsh Winter: Consumes 10 points of Mana to release a ring of ice at a designated location to deal Intelligence*30 damage, affecting an area of Perception*20 meters.]

[Deep Freeze: Consumes 5 points of Mana to freeze an enemy, making the enemy unable to move, but allies cannot attack the enemy either.]

The Magic Corps can learn three spells.

[Ice Cone Skill], [Ice Storm], [Ice Ring].

These spells differed somewhat from the previous Magic Tower spells.

As they were all Ice Element spells, their power was biased, and Skeleton Mages found it challenging to learn them; two to three Skeleton Mages had to coordinate in using them.

Most importantly, at this time, Gu Xi found that the basic spells the Skeleton Mages initially mastered were also starting to play a certain role here.

The Skeleton Mages who first mastered Ice Arrow learned these three spells the fastest.

Next were the Skeleton Mages who mastered the Poison Gas Bomb; those who mastered the Fireball Skill and Lightning Arrow couldn’t learn these three spells at all.

As for the Corpse Witch, it could learn them, but the effect of casting these three spells was not as good as several Skeleton Mages cooperating.

At this point, Gu Xi understood that these spells were also directionally limited, and without reaching that level, one couldn’t learn them well even if they wanted to.

Therefore, Gu Xi did not force the Corpse Witches; he simply gathered the Skeleton Mages who mastered Ice Arrow, letting them specialize in learning to form an ice spell force in the future.

Besides this, Gu Xi spent the rest of his time entirely on the Ice and Snow Armory.

Once the Ice and Snow Armory was completed, Gu Xi had the Blacksmith Shop work overtime to forge various weapons, and sent part of the Barracks’ weapons to the Ice and Snow Armory.

Only when the number of weapons in the Armory reached the standard could the weapons be upgraded.

However, even with Gu Xi closely monitoring, the Armory still didn’t meet the upgrade criteria.

According to Gu Xi’s estimate, it would take another two to three days to upgrade the Armory to level 2.

Gu Xi couldn’t wait any longer.

He directly informed Luna that after the Armory upgrade, they should take the corpses and Blood Essence brought back from the Mysterious Academy to the Bloody Temple.

Using the power of the Bloody Temple, convert them all into Bloody Knights.

Simultaneously, prioritize upgrading the main Magic Tower and the Ghost Tower.

Upon completing the upgrades, directly construct the Azure Temple.

As for the rest, Gu Xi didn’t force.

This same reason caused Gu Xi’s idea of having the blacksmith upgrade the Cold Wind Staff to fall through.

Regarding upgrading the Cold Wind Staff with Ice Crystals, Gu Xi hesitated again.

After all, his Cold Wind Staff had the potential to be upgraded to Purple Quality, unlike the Champion Ring, which was merely a blue uselessness.

Eventually, the matter of upgrading the Cold Wind Staff got postponed, and until Gu Xi set off for the new world, his staff remained at Blue Quality.
