Huh? There’s a big event?

Gu Xi was stunned as soon as he heard it, and he quickly asked, ”Can you know what it is? What are the requirements to participate?”

”The news is not hard to find. I heard that someone from Ancestor City is preparing to push to Level 30 and is calling for support from Level 10 players from various cities, preparing for the Creation.

This is a big event that will last for decades.

Just this morning, the guild leader issued a new order.

All players above Level 8 in the guild’s world pioneering group were transferred to undergo special training to see if they can reach Level 10 within this year, laying a good foundation for the future.

Your level is Level 5, right? Then it’s fine. After Level 5, even though leveling up is slow, you will definitely catch up when the recruitment happens.”

Hearing the term Creation, Gu Xi’s mind buzzed and exploded.

When he was in school, he learned what Creation meant.

This is just a nice term for outsiders; the proper term is the Reality Bridge Space Stabilization Technique.

This is actually a self-rescue behavior for the players in their world.

Gu Xi’s Bailian City, along with upstream and downstream cities like Qiufeng City and Cold Leaf City, are all new cities split off from Ancestor City.

And Ancestor City was originally not called this name; it was called White Deer Field.

About five thousand years ago, White Deer Wild City encountered a game reverse-flow and was dragged by the game from the real world to the depths of the game world.

The entire city, nearly fifty million people, was sent to this place together.

Since then, the players of Ancestor City have been striving to find a way back to the real world.

Over the course of five thousand years, Ancestor City has split off into a total of thirty-nine new cities, enduring storms and stress, leaving twenty-nine cities remaining today with a total player population of about 4.2 billion people.

Among them, the 31 recorded high-level players who are still alive, are Level 30.

Each player preparing to push to Level 30 will conduct a Creation, using their conquered world to erect a bridge to the real world.

Afterward, this high-level player will guard the game world they’ve conquered for up to a hundred years, ensuring stability and smoothness between all worlds.

After a century, the world created by these high-level players will become a stable world where one can freely walk.

The players of Ancestor City rely on this method, bridging one world at a time, slowly approaching the real world.

Everyone has a belief in their hearts: as long as everyone works together, one day they can break out from the depths of the game and return to the real world.

And this time, the Creation, Gu Xi had a key lesson in school, because during Gu Xi’s school days, the recorded Creation attempts had reached 499, and this one is the five hundredth Creation.

According to the teacher’s explanation, all the places that could be opened have already been opened.

Another attempt might be the best opportunity to concentrate the last strength to break through the game barriers and return to the real world.

Over the years, players in various cities have thought so as well.

They have been waiting for several Level 29 players to complete the prerequisite tasks, taking the step to promote to Level 30.

Now that such a thing is right in front of him, Gu Xi’s eyes lit up.

”I can reach Level 8 now, where do I sign up?”

Gu Xi said excitedly.

As long as this person gives an address, Gu Xi will immediately decide to upgrade himself.

It’s just Level 8, his Experience should be enough. He definitely won’t miss this battle.

At that time, with a year of training with the guild, he will pile up enough Experience. He already has a Bone Dragon, and the preconditions for reaching Level 10 have been completed. When the formal recruitment starts, he will definitely be able to participate.

Just think, participating in the Creation not only provides a lot of Experience and equipment, but he can even get guidance from advanced high-level players.

He can take root in an unstable world and build a city of his own.

In history, every Creation has been a transcendence of players’ levels and statuses.

Many City Lords of various cities, many ancestors of families, started with participating in the Creation.

If this opportunity is missed, who knows when the next chance will come.

No wonder Gu Xi’s eyes lit up when he heard about it.

”No, no, don’t rush...” The record officer hurried to stop Gu Xi from acting rashly.

Just then, someone patted Gu Xi’s shoulder.

Gu Xi turned around and saw that Li Xinghui was already standing behind him at some point.

Looking at Li Xingwei’s attire, Gu Xi felt something in his heart.

”Brother Li, you’ve already signed up? I want to sign up too, where do I go?”

”Yes, I’ve already signed up, but you’ve got some skills, about to hit Level 8, huh?”

Li Xinghui looked Gu Xi up and down.

”Not yet, but my Experience is already enough. I saved up some before; I’ve completed the Level 5 promotion, just need to level up.”

Gu Xi smiled, but his words were full of confidence. For him, leveling up really wasn’t a big deal.

”Okay, okay, don’t mess around. I believe you, but don’t rush to sign up just yet.

It’s not like everyone is rushing to sign up; initially, the guild leader didn’t intend to release the news so soon.

But since other guilds have already said it, we can’t help but clarify.

Otherwise, if the story spreads by word of mouth, it’ll become chaotic in the end.

There is a Creation event, but it’s not now.

The time is set for a cycle later.”

”Twelve years later? Why mention it so early?”

Gu Xi was somewhat curious; it’s not happening now, which is good for some players, but for Gu Xi, he believed that with his current situation, in twelve years, he can definitely reach Level 15.

If Gu Xi really reaches that level, even if he doesn’t participate in the Creation, that high-level player would come to invite him.

”Why else? You think Creation is just about a high-level player charging into the game.

There’s so much going on inside. Just counting the initial participants takes half a year, and having all players arrive at Ancestor City takes at least a year.

There’s also reorganization, joint training, then trying out in a few game worlds to test the feel, adjusting the players’ position arrangement, improving the players’ tacit understanding; it can’t be done without six or seven years.

Starting twelve years later is under the assumption that everything goes smoothly; if there’s a problem somewhere, it might drag on for a few more years.”

Hearing this, Gu Xi then understood that there was so much reasoning in this.

He thought Creation was like playing a game, just turn it on and dive right in when you’re happy.

Now it seems, it’s really not that way.

But then a new question arose.

”So why is this recruitment being done now?”
