Looking at the Evil Coffin that completed the promotion, Gu Xi’s face turned pleasant.

The situation of the Evil Coffin before him had, once again, been enhanced. Whether it was the comfort of riding, the speed of the coffin itself, or the number of things that could be added to it, all were improved.

Indeed, this enhancement of the Evil Coffin was of great significance to Gu Xi.

It was even comparable to obtaining a piece of Purple Armor.

After Gu Xi circled the Evil Coffin, Doromara stepped forward and said, ”How do you feel? Are you satisfied with the reward we’ve given you?”

At this point, Gu Xi had nothing to complain about.

If he were to say he’s not satisfied with such a reward, he might as well forget about keeping his face.

”I’m very satisfied with this reward, you didn’t make it difficult for me.”

”Although we walk in darkness, we conduct our affairs openly and uprightly.”

While Doromara was speaking, she rolled her eyes at Gu Xi, clearly blaming Gu Xi for tricking those Black Dragons away from them.

Although Doromara understood that without Gu Xi producing the Soldier Recruitment Coupon, those Black Dragons wouldn’t have appeared.

But handing over the Black Dragons from his hand felt like cutting a piece of his flesh.

He couldn’t feel good about Gu Xi, who ’tricked away’ the Black Dragons from him.

”Alright, if you’re satisfied, come with me, let’s get the Purple Armor. Once you have it, don’t show up in front of me again. Every time you appear, my heart feels half gone.”

Listening to Doromara’s words, Gu Xi chuckled.

Of course, he could hear the meaning in Doromara’s words, but so what?

Being scolded can’t reduce his share.

Even if losing a piece of flesh could bring back twenty Black Dragons, he would do it again next time.

Doromara stretched out her hand, summoning a black monster horse, covered in various neon lights like the Evil Coffin.

”Follow me and don’t get lost.”

With a single movement, Doromara leaped onto the horse’s back and then glanced at Gu Xi.

Gu Xi immediately understood Doromara’s intention, quickly sat on top of the Evil Coffin, pointed to the monster horse, indicating for the coffin to follow closely.

In the next moment, Gu Xi’s sight turned completely black, except for the multicolored lights flickering at the edges of the Evil Coffin, he could see nothing else.

But such darkness was only momentary, the next moment, Gu Xi’s sight brightened, and he found himself already in another room within the Shadow Castle.

The room before him was about 3,000 square meters in size, and every few steps there was a piece of Purple Armor placed on a weapon or equipment rack.

At this moment, Gu Xi and the others stood at the outer ring of the room, and Gu Xi could immediately tell that the items displayed in this circle were mass-produced Purple Armors.

Deeper inside were relatively better Purple Armors, and Gu Xi could only get one from there this time.

As for further in, there were some top-tier items, which were limited even within the Shadow Castle, not to mention an outsider like Gu Xi, even if the Council Members of the Shadow Crown came, they couldn’t directly take them away.

Listening to Doromara’s introduction, Gu Xi knew he couldn’t hope to get those top-tier items, as long as the remaining items’ quality was good, with low negative effects, not mass-produced Purple Armor, then there would be no problem.

Doromara led Gu Xi to the middle layer, then turned back and asked: ”What type of weapon equipment do you need? I see your equipment isn’t complete yet, do you want me to help you choose?”

Gu Xi thought for a moment, glanced at his own equipment, and realized, as Doromara said, his equipment was still incomplete, missing Chest Armor, Waistband, Pants, Cloak, Wrist Guards, Gloves, Shoes.

With these thoughts, Gu Xi shifted his gaze to the equipment rack nearby, focusing on the equipment in those directions.

Ultimately, Gu Xi chose a waistband.

The waistband looked full of Shadow Crown style, the entire band made of black hard leather, its surface embedded with a pattern of silver thorns.

This waistband was obviously for Mages, with conspicuous hooks and pouches on both sides and the back, clearly designed to hold many small items like keys, magic potions, magic materials, and such.

Gu Xi was very aware of his need for magic potions.

In battle, Gu Xi needs to continually replenish mana, hence such a waistband was most useful to him.

”That waistband!”

Gu Xi pointed directly at the waistband.

”Decided?”

Doromara glanced at Gu Xi.

”Decided.”

Gu Xi did not hesitate much, having confirmed the target, he didn’t have thoughts of changing.

Doromara cast a glance at Gu Xi, reached out to take down the waistband, and handed it over to Gu Xi.

Looking at the waistband information before him, Gu Xi understood why Lynch said the negative effects of the Shadow Crown’s Purple Armor are extremely low.

With such effects that don’t even lead to injury, Gu Xi wanted to say, please give me ten pieces.

Seeing Gu Xi’s expression, Doromara faintly said,

”Please consider exchanging for Purple Armor after reaching Venerable reputation in the Shadow Crown.”

With that, he nodded towards the outside, hinting that Venerable level reputation only allows the exchange of those mass-produced Purple Armors outside.
