The three blue items were taken out first.

When Gu Xi got these three blue items, he didn’t bother with the green items laid out, and directly activated the [Shadow Mist].

Gu Xi and his city have not yet mastered the Dark Sky.

But that’s not what Gu Xi was considering. It’s important to know that Gu Xi possesses another skill named Sky, the Bone Curtain.

This is an advanced skill of the Undead Mage, which can only be learned after mastering Bone Storm.

Picking up the [Shadow Mist], Gu Xi immediately unleashed the Bone Curtain.

A large amount of bone fragments centered around Gu Xi, engulfing him.

As Gu Xi made his move, Doromara immediately jumped out.

He thought something had happened, but as soon as the Bone Curtain was released, Gu Xi threw the [Shadow Mist] out of his hand.

Subsequently, the color of the Bone Curtain slowly changed from white to black, and finally, all the bone fragments retracted inward, transforming into a cloak made of white bone fragments and black mist under Gu Xi’s guidance, draped over his back.

[Bone Curtain (Level 1, Mutated): Consumes 70 Mana, can retract a Bone Curtain to the player’s back, forming an automatic protective layer. If someone attacks the player, the Bone Curtain will automatically expand and kill the attacker (after forming the automatic protective layer, 35 Mana will be automatically deducted from the player every hour).]

As new information popped up in front of him, Gu Xi realized his choice was the right one.

With the addition of [Shadow Mist], the Bone Curtain mutated, forming a protective screen that could automatically follow and defend him.

This is equivalent to having a bone shield always by his side, making it the best protection for an Undead Mage.

Although it deducts 35 Mana every hour, this amount of Mana is trivial for Gu Xi.

Whenever Gu Xi used Death Incarnation, he would deplete all his Mana anyway.

Now Gu Xi was already used to it, and 35 Mana was nothing more than a drizzle to him.

Having succeeded the first time, Gu Xi didn’t stop. He took the [Dark Track] and tossed it directly at the Evil Coffin.

This time the Evil Coffin took the initiative to open its lid, swallowing the blob of [Dark Track] that was like black jelly.

Then the Evil Coffin quickly vanished into the darkness. If Gu Xi couldn’t sense the Evil Coffin, he would have thought it had run off on its own.

At this moment, Gu Xi also understood that the Evil Coffin was evolving, and that it would probably take some time.

So Gu Xi picked up the nine pieces of green equipment and items placed in front of him.

Compared to the blue items that could be used right away, Gu Xi was more concerned about the effects of the green items.

Walking up to Doromara, Gu Xi reached out and grabbed something that looked like a puppet.

[You received Substitute Death Puppet (Green) *3.]

Unlike the blue items, all these green items were selected by Gu Xi from a pile of useless things.

This seems to suit Gu Xi’s needs.

At least when picking them up, Gu Xi didn’t feel at a loss.

”Alright, let’s go check out the purple armor.”

Just as Gu Xi was saying this, the Evil Coffin, which had previously disappeared into the shadows, reappeared in front of him.

This time, the Evil Coffin had once again transformed.

The previous Evil Coffin had completely turned into a metallic style.

Now the Evil Coffin’s shell was still metallic, but the color had changed from stainless steel to a matte black, lacking any metallic texture.

Several luminous talismans were plastered on the coffin’s shell, flickering like glow sticks in the night when viewed from afar.

The iron chains that had originally wrapped around the Evil Coffin’s shell remained, but now they were adorned with various large and small bulbs, resembling the red and green neon lights of the city, with a floating lamp at the front of the coffin being the brightest.

This sight left Gu Xi quite speechless.

The Evil Coffin had suddenly shifted from a metallic style to a cyberpunk heavy metal style.

More importantly, the size of the Evil Coffin had undergone a significant transformation, now reaching five meters in length and two meters in height, resembling a small van.

After circling the Evil Coffin, Gu Xi finally reached out and grabbed the iron chain on the surface of the Evil Coffin.

Before Gu Xi could exert any force, the iron chain swung him onto the Evil Coffin.

Gu Xi discovered that there was a perfect spot on top of the Evil Coffin for him to sit on, seemingly ensuring he wouldn’t be thrown off even if the Evil Coffin moved too fast.

[Evil Coffin (Blue+1, Mount):

Undead Type player and hero mount, with a movement speed of 350 km/h, can temporarily speed up to 650 km/h (limited to 45 seconds).

It can automatically find a path, identify maps, and automatically jump into shadow space, as well as move within shadow space.

Capable of carrying one person (1/1), can haul two temporary carriages (1/2), and comes with three storage slots (0/3), five embed slots (1/5).]

[Note 1: The talismans attached to the Evil Coffin’s exterior do not light up unless activated. Those that are glowing have already been activated.]

[Note 2: When entering the shadows, the front Daylight Lamp is used to guide the path, while the neon lights on the side of the Evil Coffin are to prevent people from attacking it.]

[Note 3: Although the Evil Coffin has been enhanced, it’s not the most comfortable to sit on. To make seating more comfortable, additional resources need to be invested into it.]
