Undead Mage from a Cell

After waiting for about an afternoon, the Shadow Castle finally reappeared in the Soul-Devouring Valley.

As soon as the castle’s main gate emerged from the ground, Lynch immediately ran out.

At this point, he couldn’t care about anything else; he quickly ran up to Gu Xi, looking at him intently.

”Wow, you did it, I knew you could do it. Hurry in, let me tell you, thanks to you this time, we’re going to make it big.”

As Lynch spoke, he dragged Gu Xi into the entrance of the Shadow Castle.

Gu Xi wanted to speak along the way but found that he couldn’t get a word in.

Whatever he tried to say, Lynch would immediately divert the topic elsewhere.

Fortunately, Lynch wasn’t the type to make things difficult for others.

He had arranged everything: one piece of Purple Armor, three of Blue Armor, and seven or eight of Green Armor.

There was no choice in Purple Armor; whatever they gave, Gu Xi had to accept.

The only guarantee was that the Negative Effects wouldn’t be high.

According to Lynch, this was the advantage of the Shadow Crown; when crafting Purple Equipment, the crown’s power suppressed the Negative Effects to almost nothing.

Hearing this, Gu Xi really wanted to say to them, ”The crown on your head feels off.”

But Gu Xi hesitated because he was somewhat foggy at the time, unable to figure out whether the Thorn Golden Crown belonged to that Sleeping Beauty or the spindle used to prick his finger and smear blood on his head.

The Blue Armor could be selected, and if he didn’t like theirs, he could exchange it for something of equal value, while he could take Green Armor as he pleased, up to ten items; whatever he wanted, he could take.

However, what Gu Xi really wanted to ask was if there were still Black Dragons.

He had now acquired four Soldier Recruitment Coupons and wondered if he could recruit more Black Dragons.

While speaking, Gu Xi and his group returned to the hall of the Shadow Castle.

When leading Gu Xi to the side, Lynch said, ”Wait a moment, I’ll ask them to prepare the way for you to leave. If you want to rest, there’s a Tavern over there where you can eat and drink.

If you want to exchange directly, find Quartermaster Doromara, I’ve explained everything in detail.

If you want to look around, you can walk around inside the Shadow Castle. Except for the doors marked in red, you can freely enter and exit any other place.”

”Thank you, you don’t have to worry about me, I’ll find my way around myself.”

As Gu Xi spoke, he turned his gaze toward Doromara, not far away.

At this moment, Doromara didn’t know what had happened; he was sitting in a corner, drinking a black liquid that looked like sewage.

”Mr. Quartermaster, we meet again. I’ve come to claim my reward this time. Oh, before claiming it, I wanted to ask, are there any Black Dragons?”

”No, there are absolutely no Black Dragons.”

Doromara jumped up as soon as he heard.

”It’s okay, as long as you can exchange this, it’s fine. Here are four level-8 Soldier Recruitment Coupons, get me twenty Black Dragons first.”

With a face full of smiles, Gu Xi shoved the Soldier Recruitment Coupons into Doromara’s hand.

Why hold onto Soldier Recruitment Coupons when Black Dragons are available? Save them for breeding?

Doromara was furious at this moment, ”I said there’s none, and there really isn’t!”

”Go on, it’s on the exchange list so it can be exchanged; you know the effect of the Soldier Recruitment Coupons, so twenty Black Dragons, I’ll just wait here.”

Gu Xi said as he sat down.

Seeing Gu Xi like this, Doromara’s face turned quite sour.

Yet, he had to admit that the Soldier Recruitment Coupons Gu Xi had taken out weren’t about taking these big guys from their stock of Black Dragons.

However, the thought of Gu Xi getting this advantage left him a bit bitter.

”You just wait.”

Doromara said through gritted teeth.

Seeing Doromara turn and leave, Gu Xi smiled indifferently.

He didn’t plan to stay here for too long anyway; of course, he’d grab all the benefits he could before leaving.

As for upsetting the Quartermaster, Gu Xi didn’t care much either; after all, it wasn’t his Quartermaster.

No matter how many things he had, they weren’t his own.

What could he do to Gu Xi after all?

In the end, he’d still have to exchange obediently.

Sure enough, it wasn’t long before Doromara returned angrily, followed by twenty strong Black Dragons.

”All the Black Dragons are here, go ahead and check them.”

Doromara looked at these Black Dragons with some reluctance. Although they weren’t produced in the Shadow Castle, appearing in the Shadow Castle made them count as part of it.

He was reluctant to hand these creatures over.

Seeing Doromara like this, Gu Xi wouldn’t hesitate. He directly released the Main City Gate and swiftly put all the Black Dragons away.

While sending them in, Gu Xi specifically instructed.

”Send them to the Yaliduvi Tower for the Eldest Princess Anna to handle.”

After settling everything, Gu Xi turned to Doromara, ”Let’s leave the Purple Armor for last, we’ll start with Green Armor and Blue Armor first.

I studied your list while waiting for the Shadow Castle.

Lynch also mentioned on the way that because this is a special case, some items can be exchanged without Prestige, so I’d like these items.”

Speaking, Gu Xi pointed on the list.

”This Blue one, this Blue one, and this Blue one; for Green, I want this one, this one, and this one...”

As a Quartermaster, Doromara knew what could be exchanged here; what Gu Xi pointed out all required Prestige to exchange.

But he couldn’t stop Gu Xi from exchanging because Gu Xi’s reasoning was quite legitimate.

At this point, Doromara could only accept it, nodding with gritted teeth in agreement.

And he placed these items one by one in front of Gu Xi.

Various messages kept popping up in front of Gu Xi.
