As Gu Xi and Luna discussed the construction direction of the Mountain God Temple, Gu Xi’s architects, under the protection of the Undead Corps, arrived at the Mountain God Temple.

These architects had shown their strength in the previous battle at the Evil God Hall.

Now they are considered treasures of Yalidu City.

Whenever they set out from Yalidu City, Gu Xi dispatches troops to protect them.

Such an attitude is quite formal.

These architects have not disappointed Gu Xi; they have been busy in Yalidu City for days to unify its style and rationalize building layouts.

They even have plans to reconfigure the districts of Yalidu City.

After being consulted, at first glance, they gave a judgment similar to Luna’s.

The current Mountain God Temple holds little development value. Even if Gu Xi invests a lot of resources, it would at most reach level 3.

For a new City Lord, this might be the first city.

However, Gu Xi’s Yalidu City is about to capture territories from other eras, and soon the city’s cap will reach level 12.

A level 3 city no longer holds much attraction for Gu Xi.

However, Gu Xi is still willing to invest some resources here to add a resource point to his city.

After touring the Mountain God Temple and listening to Gu Xi and Luna’s previous discussions,

the architects had a discussion and finally said to Gu Xi, ”Sir, the items in the current city are of no use. Look at those tents; they are pointless and occupy a large space.

Moreover, using such large bluestones as the Assembly Hall is somewhat wasteful.

From our perspective, the first task is demolition.

Then refill with new soil, to level the ground first.

Since it can only upgrade to level 3, apart from the Assembly Hall, only three other core buildings can be built. If you want to use this place as a resource point, a Warehouse is necessary.

Add to that a choice between Market and Barracks, and the remaining core building must be a Tavern.

There will only be two large plots, ensuring some defensive force in the city, but at most, there will be two Training Camps; we believe making them interact would be better.

For the medium-sized buildings, two need to assist labor, one to interact with the Training Camp, and another for external communication.

As for small buildings, City Gates, Moats, Arrow Towers, and Carriage Stations are essential. Even if the Carriage Station cannot connect to Yalidu City, we cannot guarantee that we won’t acquire other cities here in the future.

So, the Carriage Station must be included, and the rest can only be used to provide internal city power and other enhancements.”

After the architect finished, another rushed forward to say, ”Because the materials here have been placed for such a long time, they are the most suitable building materials for use.

Sir, we cannot rely on small, medium, and large plots; to ensure the city’s safety and development, I think we should handle it in the details of the city.

Sir, I just took a turn at the back and saw a large quantity of air-dried tiger skins.

The quantity is considerable, good for making leather armor, but I want to apply to use these tiger skins to stitch them together and lay them on the ground in front of the Assembly Hall.

Setting up a Tiger Skin Square, I can assure that with this Tiger Skin Square, the city’s quality can rise by ten percent.”

”Increase by ten percent?”

Gu Xi was a bit puzzled, wondering if it could be played this way?

”Yes, he is an expert in building materials, researching how to enhance a building’s quality from the very start, sir. Let him give it a try. If successful, I can draw an architectural design plan for the Tiger Skin Square.”

The architect said this, holding the ability to draw architectural design plans among them and also possessing the ability to construct buildings from such plans.

If he says he can draw a Tiger Skin Square’s architectural design plan, then it must be possible.

In other words, the earlier architect’s proposal opened another avenue beyond the empty building plot.

This made Gu Xi think of something.

”Wait a moment, let me get some soil for you to research the effect of using it in constructing the current city.”

Gu Xi thought of the special soil from that valley mixed with cinnabar, rooster blood, and black dog blood.

It was used to suppress the Yin Soldiers under King of the Wheel.

Harnessing pure yang power.

But over the years, this power was affected by yin energy and the lack of fierce tiger blood replenishment led to the soil’s mutation.

Gu Xi previously instructed the Chong Ghost to dig this soil, without intending to transport it back to Yalidu City.

But now, with the Tiger Skin Square situation, another idea formed.

If the current Mountain God Temple ground needs to be torn down and rebuilt, what if we fill it with this special soil, would there be more changes?

After sharing this thought, the architects discussed; however, without seeing the material, they couldn’t make a judgment.

Therefore, Gu Xi glanced around and decisively left the Death Incarnation - Bone Dragon here.

He also arranged a batch of his troops to demolish the Mountain God Temple.

As for the materials that were removed, based on the architects’ suggestion, Gu Xi didn’t send them to Yalidu City but left them in place, preparing to use them for the new city’s construction materials.

After arranging everything, Gu Xi returned to the Mountain God Temple’s location in the real world.

By that time, most of the Undead had left the mountain, but Gu Xi noticed that the hills were still full of mutilated corpses.

This gave Gu Xi an idea about setting up Training Camps here.

Building an Evil Temple might be a good choice.

With these mutilated corpses on the hills, consuming mana for summoning and sending them to Yalidu City is somewhat time-consuming.

It might be better to leverage the Mountain God Temple’s influence, converting them into forces within the Mountain God Temple district.

Perhaps with the protection of Misfortune Skeletons, the Mountain God Temple’s defense would be enhanced a bit.

Thinking while he spoke, Gu Xi maneuvered the Evil Coffin through the Main City Gate, past Yalidu City, turning to dash out the Steel City Gate, back to the previous battlefield in the valley.

As Gu Xi drove the Evil Coffin out, the temple priest, Du Shusheng, and Wang Li Zheng quickly gathered around.

”Immortal (Sir), we found something good.”
