”For the guild inheritance.” Li Xinghui said directly.

”Think about it, this gathering takes twelve years, and who knows how many years the battles afterward will last.

We can’t just ignore this round of Creation, or abandon Bailian City entirely.

Besides, not everyone can participate, those signing up for Creation need to be at least Level 10.

If everyone leaves, what about the city affairs and its defense?

Of course, we need to gather people for training and then select suitable candidates based on the training results.

The remaining personnel will be left to handle internal guild inheritance and guarding Bailian City.”

”What kind of candidates are suitable.”

Upon hearing this, Gu Xi immediately asked, not wanting to miss this opportunity.

”The standards aren’t clear yet, but according to the leader, two training camps will be set up, one for all Level 4 players.

This is to give all Level 4 players a chance, using guild Power to push them to Level 5.

The other is for players above Level 8, aiming to push these above Level 8 to Level 10.”

Hearing this, Gu Xi immediately felt something was off.

”Wait a sec, Brother Li, these two training camps seem a bit odd, don’t they?”

”You noticed it too, it’s actually arranged for players who’ve lost potential.

Once you join such a training camp, you’ll basically have no more opportunities in the future.

Those forced from Level 4 to 5 likely won’t have a chance to reach Level 10.

As for those pushed to Level 10, they’ll just be cannon fodder, the guild won’t support them any further.”

At this point, Li Xinghui patted Gu Xi’s shoulder and said, ”Your situation is different, you clearly have potential, so you shouldn’t join this training camp.”

Then Li Xinghui looked around, ”I’ll tell you quietly, remember the giant world exploration rights we seized from Steel Ghost Hand?”

”Of course I do.”

”This is an opportunity. You can apply for the giant world exploration right, this is something all the top echelons are aware of, they’re planning to let all their potential kids join.

This is an opportunity. Currently, all players over Level 5 can apply for exploration. As long as they don’t use guild training Power to reach Level 10, they will be recognized by the guild.

Finally, they’ll report to City Lord Bai Lian, regarded as special potential talent.”

”Special talent? What can that do?”

Hearing this, Gu Xi was somewhat curious.

”I can’t say for sure, but I heard the first City Lord Bai Lianqiu was initially a special potential talent.

Afterward, she was recommended to participate in the 175th Creation, eventually pushing to Level 29 and exhausting her potential, then coming here to establish Bailian City.

Do you remember the eighteenth City Lord? The one who failed to reach Level 20 and turned Bailian City’s style into a Ghost Realm?

He also started as a special potential talent, participated in two Creation events, and initially had hopes to reach Level 30, becoming the first Creation tycoon of this city.

But during the third Creation event, he was seriously injured and had to return, eventually dying outside Bailian City.

The numerous Ghost Realms around Bailian City were all left by him.

He even left a vast amount of inheritance in Bailian City.

Think about it, and you should understand the vast difference between special potential talents and the cannon fodder pushed up by guild training.”

Understanding the distinction, Gu Xi also knew what choice he should make.

”Thank you, Brother Li. If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t have known about these things.”

”It’s nothing, I brought you to Chaoyang Radiance Guild, I naturally want to help you, and with your potential, you’ll surely be outstanding in the future. This is just an early investment.

Besides, I have something to ask you for help.”

”Brother Li, please say.”

”You know I’m just at Level 8 now, I must participate in this training, my fate as cannon fodder is inevitable.

I don’t mind, but those kids at home without me looking after them might not even reach Level 5.

I don’t dare ask much else, just if those kids of mine are truly down and out, could you lend them a hand?”

Gu Xi wouldn’t refuse such a request.

”No problem, Brother Li, rest assured, I’m not ungrateful. If such a situation arises, you won’t even need to tell me, I’ll lend a hand.”

”Thank you, brother, I won’t say more, if there’s anything in the future, come find me. I can’t do much, but I can help with finding out some news.”

”Alright, then I won’t be polite.”

Listening to Li Xinghui’s words, Gu Xi became more straightforward.

”Yes, no need to be polite. By the way, if you want to go, hurry and sign up for exploration now. Although there’s no cap on giant world exploration slots, good spots are limited. If you’re late, you’ll end up in a fierce area.

Entering the exploration will be unfavorable. You should first register and secure a position; the rest you can handle as your time permits.”

Listening to Li Xinghui, Gu Xi realized that world exploration had these considerations.

If not for Li Xinghui’s reminder, he might have suffered a big loss here.

”Alright, I’ll head over now. Thanks, Brother Li.”

”No worries, given our relationship, who are we?”

Gu Xi didn’t linger, quickly getting up and leaving.

However, after Gu Xi left, Li Xinghui felt he forgot something.

Thinking carefully, it seemed there was nothing related to himself.

So it didn’t matter.

Then Li Xinghui quickly left, not concerning himself further with the matter.

In fact, both Gu Xi and Li Xinghui forgot that Gu Xi was supposed to join the Sun Mage Corps, but as soon as Gu Xi returned, he went to the Mysterious Academy.

Then he focused on promotion and increasing his Level.

Upon returning, he encountered this matter.

To this day, Gu Xi hasn’t reported to the Sun Mage Corps.

Gu Xi wasn’t aware of this, and Li Xinghui assumed Gu Xi knew.

So neither of them mentioned it.

In this way, Gu Xi perfectly missed the last opportunity to join the Sun Mage Corps.

But Gu Xi was unaware at this time, as he had already arrived at the new Teleportation Gate located at the back of the Teleportation Gate Plaza.

The situation here seemed a bit eerie, with only a few people standing in front of the new Teleportation Gate, yet Gu Xi felt many people were paying attention here.
