With Gu Xi’s command, the Mountain God Temple, which had mostly collapsed, rapidly expanded outward, increasing its area to a hundred times its original size.

From its original small plot of land, it turned into over a hundred acres of vast terrain.

Simultaneously, a layer of black smoke quickly enveloped the sky, blocking out the sunlight.

As Gu Xi looked at the Mountain God Temple again, he realized that the entire temple had completely changed in appearance.

In the east and west side halls’ original positions, numerous tents made of tattered cloth had appeared, and the main hall was transformed from the once passable Mountain God Temple into a massive blue stone.

A corpse over five meters long lay in front of the stone, with its upper half mostly gnawed away, and a few drops of dark golden blood still visible on the ground.

Clearly, this half-eaten corpse was the golden body of the former Mountain God.

Watching the tiger carefully eating without wasting anything, it was clear how precious this body was.

Looking beyond the large blue stone, Gu Xi noticed thousands of dried tiger skins piled in the rear.

Such a situation left Gu Xi stunned, but he quickly understood that these tiger skins were likely from the offspring of the Tiger Mountain God. No matter how powerful they were, they couldn’t outlive the Tiger Mountain God.

Over time, when the Tiger Mountain God’s descendants died, their skins were dried and left here. If it weren’t impossible to process the bones, they might have been used to soak wine.

Yet no matter how vast the Mountain God Temple’s area was, it couldn’t hide the fact that there was no trace of human presence here.

Maybe when the former Old Mountain God and Tiger Mountain God were around, there could have been some Divine Servants or Chong Ghosts, but when Gu Xi arrived, there was nothing left.

At this moment, Shaya and Luna also entered the Mountain God Temple’s boundaries.

”My lord.”

”Luna, you came at the right time. Look at this land, is it useful?”

Luna, among Gu Xi’s contracted undead, was the most knowledgeable about city construction. Seeing Luna arrive, Gu Xi’s concerns were partly eased.

Luna walked around the area and finally returned to Gu Xi’s side.

”My lord, the situation is similar to when we first acquired Yalidu City; the big blue stone marks the core site of the Assembly Hall.

Here, we can plan one large plot, two medium plots, and three small plots; nothing more remains.

Importantly, this isn’t a Death City, possibly due to the distance, and can’t even be considered a Satellite City.

As for the half-eaten corpse, it’s not of much use; it’s merely somewhat spiritual material, as you can see from its quality.”

”Blue quality, not as good as the half skeleton of Eldest Princess Anna.”

As a qualified Undead Mage, Gu Xi could discern many things at a glance.

”Thus, if we use the corpse as an energy source, we might find a way to expand the territory a bit more. Given the current situation, we could set up two large plots, three medium plots, and five small plots.”

Gu Xi trusted Luna’s judgment, yet he still posed a question.

”The tiger corpse we killed before, I remember it was skinned by those Chong Ghosts, but the body hasn’t been dealt with, right?”

”The bones have been dismantled.”

Luna promptly replied, ”I heard the bones have been sent to the tavern to prepare Tiger Bone Wine; there should be only some flesh and internal organs left now.

If those materials were used here, they might not support a large plot, perhaps just an additional medium plot and three small plots.”

”That means two large plots, four medium plots, eight small plots, just enough for the city to reach Level 2.”

After acquiring the Death City, Gu Xi learned some specialized territorial knowledge.

Though Gu Xi’s judgment still lacked in some aspects, if given a city, he could manage to build it through trial and error.

”Yes, this should be the limit here; even if we could add more inside, reaching a Level 3 city would be about it. It could serve as a resource point but lacks the opportunity to become a main city.”

Gu Xi nodded in agreement with Luna’s assessment.

Once he determined this was the upper limit, Gu Xi had already positioned the Mountain God Temple accordingly.

His thought mirrored Luna’s, considering this as a resource point.

They wouldn’t treat this as a main city.

Seeing Gu Xi nod in agreement, Luna took over the situation and began handling it.

”My lord, let’s move the stone and bury the corpse; regardless of the city’s target, the Assembly Hall is indispensable.”

”I know, aren’t there architects in the city? Let’s have them come over to plan the land. By the way, can a Carriage Station be built here now?”

”It’s quite uncertain.” Luna understood Gu Xi’s thoughts, but a Carriage Station isn’t universal, ”It must involve some transitional strategy, and the best way here is if I set up a mirror to utilize the Mysterious Mirror Image Space.”

Hearing this, Gu Xi shook his head.

”No, it’s too close, and not convenient for deploying and retrieving. Remember the Furnace Stone we placed in Victoria City?”

”That’s one way, but the Furnace Stone is singular and has been used up; we now lack cross-domain game props.”

”It’s alright; we don’t have any, but I’m sure the guild does. We’ll build the city first and concentrate resources here, transporting batches back each visit.

Once we acquire cross-game props, we’ll build a carriage station or a trade post, ensuring this city continuously supplies resources to Yalidov.”

Gu Xi thought clearly, knowing that at the upper levels of the Chaoyang Radiance Guild were many families with their own cities or spaces.

Although they couldn’t deploy cities directly on battlefields like the Death City, building cities, gaining resources, and obtaining troops were endeavors they often undertook.

Over the years, they must have accumulated numerous cities.

Leaving the game each time doesn’t mean dismantling developed cities into land titles and removing them.

Surely, they possess ways to link their cities.

Gu Xi believed that by asking and sacrificing some cost, he could learn such methods.

After all, it wasn’t an unspeakable secret.

Moreover, with Creation imminent, the guild’s upper echelon focused on reaching higher levels to gain benefits from Creation.

Gu Xi’s requests greatly benefited the guild’s pioneering efforts, giving them no reason to refuse.
