”Grand Knight, may I also join in this battle?”

Seeing the Grand Knight so indignant, Gu Xi also expressed his thoughts.

The Grand Knight glanced at Gu Xi and said somewhat helplessly, ”With your strength, you can only go to the mob squad.”

”No problem, it’s the same wherever I go.”

Gu Xi had no intention of directly defeating the Spore Cultist Charlie.

He was here this time just to observe Spore Cultist Charlie’s battle style to lay the groundwork for future battles.

Blending in with the mob squad at the back was just right, as it didn’t require fighting.

Gu Xi could not afford any major losses now.

Now that Eldest Princess Anna intended to act, Gu Xi could take advantage of her troops to check out the bosses in this dungeon.

”Alright then, just follow at the back. Remember, don’t wander around if there’s nothing to do. Your current strength isn’t enough, even if your troops have some power, you are the greatest weakness yourself. If someone targets you, no one can save you.”

Gu Xi didn’t believe this. In his view, he had at least fought once with Spore Cultist Charlie.

Even though he used tricks, he still took down a thousand of Charlie’s life limit and a root.

This showed that Gu Xi actually had combat power.

As long as he figured out the enemy’s weaknesses, he would know how to tackle it next time he entered the dungeon.

With the Grand Knight’s permission, Gu Xi quickly followed the team.

As Gu Xi approached Eldest Princess Anna, he noticed that several experts were accompanying her.

Their strength was around Level 10. Their combat power alone surpassed any players Gu Xi had met before.

From their outfits, it was clear they were experts from different factions.

Among them, Anna was not the strongest. The strongest was a wizard, with his magic staff glowing white, like holding a torch.

Even from afar, Gu Xi could feel the scorching sensation brought by the light, indicating the wizard’s power was nearing at least Level 15.

Recalling the wizard’s initial position, Gu Xi suspected he was left in the dungeon specifically for arranging a plot-kill during the boss fight.

But now, they were ready to kill even before the plot started.

Besides the wizard, there were two Holy Knights in heavy armor, a long-eared archer, along with the wizard and Anna, making a party of five.

Watching them, Gu Xi always had the feeling they were the ones truly here to complete the dungeon.

Behind them followed five different troops.

The flags indicated that the leaders were hero-level figures.

Each troop numbered around 300, starting from Level 7 strength.

One troop even reached an all-Level 8 standard.

Followed by civilian organizations here for Westminster Cathedral.

Gu Xi was blending in with these mob troops, going over to watch the show.

But with this kind of military strength, some troops were stronger than Gu Xi from his perspective.

Not to mention, Gu Xi noticed that among the mob forces of the civilian organizations, at least three troops had a minimum strength of Level 6.

When Gu Xi first reached the Scattered Immortal Garden, his troop level might have been manageable.

But now, after several skirmishes, his troops were strong or weak, and troop deployments were needed in Yalidu City, Victoria City, and various places.

Gu Xi’s forces didn’t stand out much anymore.

It’s no wonder the Grand Knight placed him in the mob area, given his level and military strength.

Basically, it’s the kid’s table.

But Gu Xi didn’t mind this. He led his troops, joining at the back, to investigate the situation of these troop leaders.

After all, Gu Xi’s five internal tasks had only one completed, with four tasks still unknown.

Now that most of the NPCs from the dungeon were here, Gu Xi could just communicate with them to see if there were any clues to other tasks.

It should be known that the first task he received upon entering the dungeon gave him a significant benefit.

One skill level was directly increased by 1. If the other tasks offered similar rewards, Gu Xi would truly prosper.

Thus, when chatting with them, naturally, he guided the conversation towards tasks.

The troop leaders’ strength was around Level 7-8.

They weren’t there to protect Westminster Cathedral like Anna. They saw an opportunity for advantage at Westminster and came to seize it.

Naturally, they assumed Gu Xi was one of them since he was there, from their viewpoint.

”I say, brother, you did quite well this time.

You might not know, but today at the forefront are the Church’s Holy Oil Knight Order and the Royal Family’s Royal Holy Light Knight Order.

By tomorrow, it might not be the same. If not for your arrival, tomorrow, the Holy Oil Knight Order and the Royal Holy Light Knight Order would attack inside Westminster Cathedral. They will focus on one point, storming across the square in the shortest time to enter the interior of Westminster Cathedral.

Then they will fight to the apple tree in the backyard.

Once they gain a foothold there, they will consider the next move.

They only fight at one point, leaving the rest for us.

Then we’ll face those anomalies directly.

You weren’t on the front line today, so you don’t know how troublesome those anomalies are.

They aren’t numerous or high-level, but their various annoying tactics are endless.”

”Yeah, such guys are the most troublesome to fight with.”

Another troop leader leaned over, ”But there are some benefits to killing them.

I saw the Royal Holy Light Knight Order take something from those mutated people and feed it to their griffins.”

”Really? How come I didn’t see it?”

”What does your troop do compared to mine? Your eyesight can’t compare to ours.”

”Alright, what happened next?”

Hearing this, this one stopped boasting about what he saw at Westminster Cathedral, hurriedly asking.

”Then I found that the griffins’ eyes turned from blue to crimson, and even the iron armor draped over them was affected, showing blood-red patterns.”

”Red patterns, these are trained battle griffins, but weren’t battle griffins rumored to eat beef and apples? Could the apples refer to the one behind Westminster Cathedral?”
